SXSW used to be a music festival composed mainly of local talent with some stars on a few stages on Town Lake...now it has grown into a Monster and all those political pukes are coming this year to have their voices heard...I will never set foot on a SXSW event the remaining years of my life...

LUCKY for me...and Dianna...we have a semi secluded place in South Austin with access to all the stores we need in walking distance...plan to grow our own veggies and herbs as much as we can AND raise wabbits and Chickens for meat and eggs...we want to be as self reliant as much as possible.

Makes me sick to see all those Pols here right now.

A plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Ethiopia Sunday morning, killing all 157 people on board, including eight Americans, authorities said.

The Ethiopian Airlines flights was en route from the capital, Addis Ababa, to Nairobi, Kenya, when it lost contact around six minutes after takeoff, at 8:44 a.m. local time.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the Boeing 737-8 MAX plane to go down.

The airline said 149 passengers and eight crew members were on board. Among them were 33 nationalities.
