I also do not believe the shares were exercised, but per the rules they are notifying everyone They may exercise them in the near future. They are not planning a 30 cent exercise, but want to be in a position to sell some shares when they run higher. All legal notifications in place
Remember folks, not everyone was log nor is everybody a long term investor. Don't panic when shares are manipulated down and don't set an easy stop loss. Your shares will be gone in a blink of an eye
So let me get this straight. Leo has converted a C D A into a solid term sheet which he has been working out the final details for more than a month. And that's a negative for the stock price. The company may owe a few hundred thousand more to get final results released and that warrants a 30% drop in the stock price. This stock should rise or fall on 2 things. Closing that deal and final results. I'd crowd fund the release if I had to. We're letting the manipulators win be careful. Time to buy when blood in the streets.
Company may make some statements on Monday when u.s. markets are closed. They have no love for the manipulators here.flat longs
Management did a good job controlling this situation/narrative.
They released a statement on the weekend allowing all concerned to absorb
and debate the Ascend results. And before the market opened they scheduled a CC to address all issues and dispel Ascend's influence on Rit. Thus they avoided confusion and panic (especially by those who would manipulate the stock for their advantage)
ASCEND RESULTS infer that dietary supplements are ineffective. Does this have any implications for ITC case?
Company has no knowledge of interim looks results.
Jelis is closest study design to Reduce it.
Low dose epa+dha not effective.Ascend result
Reduce it has high dose epa . no dha
call statements
V is right drug no dha
V Rit is at the right dose 9x Ascend
Rit has best study population
V has superior safety profile
Summary:Sunday Globewire story confirms board reaction. Ascend result not
positive but AMRN states RIT has targeted a significantly different population with an increased dosage and expects a different result which will be made available before the end of Sept. Results are still blinded to all at this time.
2 unrelated questions: I realize it has only been a few months since ITC
case was presented, but at what point does it become a legal issue? Can a law suit be filed against this panel forcing a decision? Even companies should be entitled to swift justice. After all Citizens United declared companies the same as people.
Second question: The manipulators of this stock have been doing a good job of holding down the price. When approval comes, what do you think their strategy will be and how do we make sure to protect and grow our assets?
At the September 22nd celebration dinner, hasenpfeffer will be served. eom
Can the FDA or the ITC panel have something up
their sleeve, regardless of results? Could the latest
price moves be a leak from their offices?
Pyr Like Mark Twain said There are liars, damn liars and statistics.
Which category do you fall into? Keep searching for anything that supports your faulty conclusion.
AF is a bulls____er from way back. He has no scientific credentials and works for Cramer. He sells advertising, getting eyeballs to visit their
sight. He holds these paid interviews from time to time and basically plays the odds. Most drugs don't get approved and don't make it to market.
Whether his position comes out positive or negative , I would not sell or buy a share based on his or his "experts" advise.
Why has the psychology of the board turned to gloom and doom?
Did something occur to dampened Reduce It results? Are we getting cold feet? Does someone know something , we don't?
Why on earth would any biotech start up executive personally by stock.
They have there whole life wrapped up in the company and part of their
compensation consists of large options awards. These options represent
the risk / reward opportunity every biotech exec takes on. If successful, they're rich . If not they only have their base salary. Would you put all your eggs in one basket? If so you are a poor investor. But then again you are not invested in this stock.
Is the P phase 2trial powered enough for the FDA to consider approval based on outstanding results?
They're showing off today. Those who want to hold down
the price are showing you just how easy it can be done.
Only news will be a catalyst for combatting this trading abuse.
I think it's time for a few more tanks of gas. At this level
it costs the same to fill my tank as to acquire 100 shares.
I like the long term results of this stock better.
Stock is being walked down pending news. The lower manipulators can get it , the less shares they have to cover later. Be careful of this behavior when the news does break. They will try to gyrate the stock price and steal shares that have a stop loss. If you use Stop losses in your trading , please be careful. They will pick your pocket before you blink.
Karen your contributions to the board have been very helpful.
Please don't let some people who spend their day shorting a dollar
biotech stop your efforts. There a special place waiting for people who try to prevent small health companies from succeeding. They lack any moral compass and ethical code. It's not just business, it's patient lives and quality of life.
Assuming P results are positive the stock price should
move substantially (captain obvious).However, when B ph2
results were positive the stock stood still. My point is
regardless of the result, (for the stock price to move dramatically) there will have to be a partnership or a sale of one of the promising pipelines. If there is no
quick partnership, I see a scenario that the company has no choice but to issue more stock and / or do a reverse split.
If no partnership, I speculate that there may be a 20:1 split,
a dilutive stock issuance and an uplisting to the NASDQ. This would
stabilize the stock and give them the money they need for PH3's.
I am long the stock and dislike the scenario. Looking for some
other thoughts / alternatives.
The stock seems to have reached equilibrium. Almost
everyone has staked their positions and now await the
P results and partnering news. Good luck to all longs.
Tasty, You may want to take another look at KERX. As you know their
primary drug was approved for dialysis patients and is becoming the leader for that application. It was also recently approved for IDA and just this week it has been shown to delay the need for dialysis. The management team
which did not take advantage of these successes will be revamped as the president resigned in the past 2 weeks. Good luck
Watch for another late day run up. Someone is trying to cover.
At this point only those that believe in the science are here. K has made modest, but positive progress. B has had excellent results and is ready to partner. P is the dark horse with unblinding due any day. If P results are positive it derisks this small speculative stock. The downside will be tiny, the upside
tremendous. If you can't afford to lose your 37 cents, this is not the stock for you. At this point this is the most promising small biotech available for investment. No other small biotech has 3 blockbuster indications this far along with only positive results. 100 shares costs you the same as a tank of gas, maybe less. You'll never see that gas again, but you may have a super return with IPIX. Good luck. I believe in the science and the management team.
Remember the movie Trading Places. I've seen this before and I guess I'm the fool who is now buying. The rules of risk dictate that you never risk a lot for little return. OTOH you always risk a little to potentially make a lot.
With all of the good information being posted I lost
track of time. When will the oral arguments take place?
Will we be privy to those presentations?
Are we talking to the FDA re: a phase 3 for any of the "B" indications?
BB has this entire case been legal gamesmanship by the FDA?
All along they have wanted the final RI results and have done everything possible to ensure they get the them. At this point are they in a win - win situation. If study results are positive they make a deal with AMRN to drop the suit for quick consideration, etc. If the study fails, they say I told you so, make all the appropriate apologies/get their wrist slapped for inappropriate actions and move on (maybe they have to begin to address some dietary supplement issues).
Gentlemen You must remember you are dealing with European laws. In the UK Everyone has a work contract (even hourly folks). It is very difficult to terminate someone during the contract term and severance pay is common, even under the most ridiculous (from a U.S. perspective) circumstances. The labor departments almost always side with the employee. It is easier to give the individual their full compensation package.
There are 2 blockbuster events that will make this stock react strongly. P results and a deal with big pharma on B or P . The market maker and some other parties are scared to death this stock will run out of control and are trying (successfully to date) to keep a lid on the stock price. Just note the amount of FUD that has been presented on this board. Why would anyone expend that amount of energy on a 50cent stock that they are not invested in? If either of the 2 positive events occur, watch out for increased manipulation. Be careful not to set an easy stop loss. They will steal your shares via manipulation. Good luck to all longs
Is it possible the judge refused the government brief in order to assure that they would have an automatic appeal route. The government would then have access to all of the information and amrn arguments, and could appeal on the grounds that their defense was never heard. I hope I'm not being too much of a conspiracy theorist, but the last 5 years seem to be nothing but
Imho this stock has become a triple threat binary option. If you believe any or all of the drugs will succeed, this will be a blockbuster stock. If you don't believe you should be out (of course unless you are a foolish trader or pump & dumper like the dud). I expect volume to dry up even more as anyone who has to get out will have done so, and no one who believes in the stock will be selling anytime soon. I do wish Leo would say a bit more eg. we're still blinded, we're in early stages of analysis,
our revised estimate is XXX date, serious talks are limited to 7 companies, etc. Something would be nice. The silence is deafening, but I'm long and will buy a few more of the limited shares at this price. Good luck to all.
BB Would it help if others on the board also respond to the FDA?
If so what is the address and what should be the gist of the
response.
PS Thanks for all of your efforts
The Arudas aren't getting any younger and they could have any number of reasons for selling. Think about it: Is the Aruda sale the reason the stock has had a tough time gaining traction. The continuous selling of 7+MM shares puts continuous pressure on a stock like IPIX. Maybe some of the pressure is removed and positive news takes hold.
I believe each new partnership will be worth a $3-$5 increase in price per share. Final FDA approval will be worth a minimum of $6 - $10 per share per drug. At that point one of the partners will consider a buyout at a premium. Their BOD will have no problem paying up for a new pipeline.
Anyone? Anyone? Presentation feedback? eom
Based on the information released to date - Do I have my conclusions right?
- B significantly delays onset time for OM allowing patients time to complete radiation treatment
- B prevents OM in a portion of patients but numbers in PII may be too small to be stat sig.
- B may shorten OM duration but not enough information to draw a final conclusion
- B may lessen the severity of OM in patients, but it is too early to draw this conclusion
Based on the above, if results repeat, we have an approvable drug that every patient will demand and doctor will prescribe - if for no other reason than to complete radiation course. The other results are a super bonus. If any of them is stat sig in PHIII, B should take the market by storm. Looking forward to corrections. Don't claim to be MD or Statistician.
The science and subsequent partnership are the only things that have meaning. the only thing that is meaningless is your input
Crazy thought for the board. Kevetrin has been shown to reactivate a healthy p53 gene. I'm not sure whether a cancer/other diagnosis must come first or if a not properly functioning p53 test could alert MDs to a potential illness. In such cases could Kevetrin become a prophylaxis to engage the gene to start defending the body. Just a crazy thought late at night
