Good post. All valid questions that should be addressed by the management. May we be so lucky.
Excellent example of DD... LOL
Well said...
I do not see that the HRCT story is over yet.
Please bring us up to date.
Here, here...
Lots of hype. No substantiated news. Lots of people have lost lots of money on this. Beware.
The question remains: Is ugly worse than bad?
It is also possible that the news is worse than hoped. Beware.
Thanks. I'll keep note of that for a special occasion.
The idea here is not to count on Wave for your retirement, but to put a portion of your Wave shares into a Roth IRA. In a Roth IRA any growth in SP will be tax free.
I agree. And doing so with the stock value down reduces the cost of the transfer. I believe that the tax cost of Roth IRA transfers can be extended over 2010 and 2011. All the more reason to do it sooner than later.
yes, I cannot logon and have been waiting on the phone for 15 minutes.
This stock is very speculative. Lots of people have lost a lot of money on Smartire over the last few years.
Watch out for the hype.
Dell Inc. would like to remind you of our Q1 FY11 Earnings Conference Call
which will take place on 20-May-2010 4:00 PM CT.
For more information please visit our web site at http://www.dell.com/
Excellent. I've marked this as a keeper.
Thank you
That's a pretty reasonable analysis.
It would be more interesting if you would attempt to attach some numbers to the share price under your scenario, rather than relative guesses. A general range would be nice if you care to guess. We all understand how major news can send the SP flying and this should be taken into consideration.
e.g if q2 earnings = .01/share - might the SP range 3-5.
if q3 earnings = .04/share - might the SP range 6-7?
Ah, but if the SP doubles you could have 2 beers.
Bottoms up.
One nice sign is that WAVX share price has risen following this last CC. Maybe some one else has the info of when SP last rose after a CC. Pretty far back is my guess.
The prospects over the last 10 years have never been better. Revenues have been rising consistently along with the share price. I am sure that your shares, if you do sell, will be quickly gathered up. SS has always been very careful about his statements and to call them lies is a more than exaggeration. If you have been "in this space" for the last 10 years you would well understand the preparatory phase that is in current process.
Feel free to list the "lies," but please be accurate.
My favorite part of the CC was late in the Q&A when SS was asked about selling the company. SS began by outlining the huge potential in this "interesting" environment and the answer quickly became clearly obvious, i.e. NO WAY JACK!
Am still stuck in the Trader Joe bargain wine region, where I continue to find good value. The SanTelmo Essencia Malbec (2009) is worth a case at $4.99 per bottle.
Looking forward to hitting the $9.99 level before year end.
What if trusted computing were to become a requisite for trading online? Banks and brokerage houses need this. Might that support WAVX? I would certainly be in favor of such a requirement regardless of my position in WAVX.
I would also favor the total elimination of programmed trading. There is certainly enough evidence already that programmed trading undermines the average investor.
I have yet to see an argument that supports programmed trading as a system beneficial to the overall capital financial system. I welcome all responses to this.
Am not familiar with the David Bruce line.
Looking forward to your posts.
I also have a lot of shares.
What is it that makes you optimistic?
Intel CEO Paul Otellini said margins were helped by particularly strong demand for higher end PCs. The company’s mobile business set a new record, as demand for notebooks continues to be high. Meanwhile, signs of corporate demand continues to show signs of improvement. Otellini says that’s likely to continue given the aging of corporate PC fleets. “You’re getting to the point as CIOs are feeling better about business, that it makes economic sense to swap these out.”

Growing mountain: Less than 4% of Beijing's rubbish is recycled; 2% is burned and the rest goes into landfill. It generates 18,000 tonnes of rubbish a day.

Others courageously hold, buy more and continue to thrive.
Net income for the nine months period ended September 30, 2009 was $1.61 million, or $0.07 per share, compared to $1.45 million, or $0.07 per share in the year ago period, an increase of $164,131 or 11%. In order to control the cost, the company has eliminated numerous outsourced services and consulting fees. This contributed greatly to the increase of net income for the nine months period ended September 30, 2009.
Earnings per share for 2009 could be around $ 0.10.

From the 10K
The gross profit for the year ended December 31, 2009 was $5,166,327, representing $743,393 or 13% decrease compared to $5,909,720 for the year ended December 31, 2008. The gross margin reduced from 56% for the year 2008 to 47% for the year 2009. The decrease of the gross profit is mainly due to its reduce in the waste service business of $644,932 or 14%. The increase in cost of sales leads to the decline of gross profit in the waste service business. The gross profit in the material recycling business also decreased $105,961 or 8% from $1,395,966 for the year ended December 31, 2008 to $1,290,005 for the same period in 2009. Due to the current economic crisis, our material recycling business declined a lot compare last year.
During the next twelve months, we expect to take the following steps in connection with the development of our business and the implementation of our plan of operations:
We intend to continue with our marketing strategies to deliver our products in China and provide our waste management service to clients;
Along with the continued plastic and glass materials products we are now processing, we are also developing to process other materials, such as electronic materials, waste battery and new energy.
During the next twelve months, the Company expects to set up larger network of collection and sales in China.
During the next twelve months, the Company is planning to raise additional US$3-4 million cash to facilitate our processing capacity. The capital will be used to some or all of the following activities: 1) acquisition of other companies running similar business in China and the USA; 2) purchase of new equipment to satisfy increasing new type of materials requirements; 3) marketing and general administrative expenses for new operation in China. We may raise such capital through issuing our common stocks or warrants.
Ok, I accept the challenge. I put up $100.
Two dates become in play: A) One year from now March 27, 2011 and B) Two years from now, March 27, 2012.
I play $50 on the first year and $50 on the second, either of which (added together) would equal my total loss. You would pay $5000 for losses on each.
You may name any trusted holder for the funds!
Good luck!
For my fellow optimists I would place HRCT as a candidate for this list next year. For the true optimists change candidate to member.
Visually I like Barge’s hockey stick image to graphically describe the current rise of WAVX share price. Literally, however, I prefer the image of an avalanche, of which we sit on the crest, to describe the huge cascade of developments to follow as trusted programming gets adopted across US corporations, their international affiliates, the US government and all of its multifarious departments including the DOD, and then every national government around the world and their associated organizations. The phrase “paradigm shift” is useful here but hardly describes the vast scope of the WAVX story. Like with any creature of long gestation, the born result will grow and more than match parental expectations… especially with accompanying good care and grooming.

Very poor analogy. "Gen. Sprague" is not running anywhere, except perhaps to another conference to herald the WAVX story. S. Sprague is not bailing out and such comments border on defamation.
For now we are all blind to the details of the reasoning for his stock sale, which in respect to the current volume is not that great. I am sure that some time in the future it will become known what triggered the sale. For now it is not significant.
I have no problem continuing my support and will gather in more shares on every dip.
Triple witching. Quarterly rebalancing.
I hear ya. Am accumulating in this range.
Thank you. Very nice graph.
I share your worries, but continue to bring in recalcitrant loved ones.
I have a vision that transmogrifies your graphic chasm.
It would make a nice animated u-tube.
The chasm slowly morphs into a hockey stick and then into a hockey player blasting a shot into goal... and here is the climax... the goal shot stutters repeatedly.
