wow. ask at .0118
anybody think this will continue throughout the day, or are we looking at early morning rush trading after stuff this weekend, and a slight pullback in another 30 minutes or so?
...and here we go folks! :)
LFBG .0111 x .0112
(knew I should have put in a fund transfer request earlier last week)
A green day today? Yep, probably. But then, this is such a great position to be in. We all KNOW this stock is going to continue with a positive trend and upward movement in PPS, so if it goes green today, I'll smile and watch my unrealized profits grow. If it goes red, I'll be happy I have yet another chance to add shares at a "discounted" rate.
Win-win in my book...yeah?
Good morning everyone (afternoon here)...
Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend, which it appears so, as the activity on this board has not dropped even with the market closed on Sat/Sun. Looking forward to an exciting Monday after the high close Fri and I expect (in my rather uneducated opinion) that folks that were on the fence late last week will probably be in a hurry to hop on board after a strong finish and potential HUGE news coming out in the webinar!
I was hoping funds would clear last week so I could pick up some more LFBG under a penny before the bounce, but...no dice. I suppose 800k will have to do unless I can pick up some more on a pullback...
Never thought I would so look forward to Mondays...
Peace to all.
grrr...where's me dry powder when me needs to pull the trigger...
wishing i was loading up. probably not in the spirit of going green, but, i wish i could still pick up shares at this price in a few days when more funds clear. i fear anything under a penny will be long gone by then. :(

Goodnight all...bedtime in Iraq. Peace to you this wednesday.
Lowman,
I appreciate what you're saying, but I don't think you fully grasp my position. I don't hold what you've said against you. However, I think it's a bit ridiculous when one person voices an opinion (for example: "I think He has something to do with the success of LFBG!" not a direct quote), and it's received with applause and amens. HOWEVER, when someone voices his opinion that attributing the success of a publicly traded company in a free market economy to the hand God is (in his mind) silly, it's met with a bunch of stone throwing, fist waving, prayer chanting, "Take your anti-Christian thoughts and go home" responses.
I understand the majority of people that are investors that post ON THIS BOARD are christians, and that this is, afterall, a forum of opinions . However, if I stated a similarly worded, but opposite opinion (which is not my opinion btw, but for sake of example) such as, "Haha, look at this stock! This incredible rise is all hype - pump straight from the devil himself. Satan is smarter than all you Christians, he's pumped this thing up so that you'll invest your hard earned dollars and then LOSE them all when it crashes! See, it's working!!! hahahaha." I WOULD GET SLAMMED.
But someone posted a statement/opinion (which I DO happen to share) that making statements about God and his "helping" LFBG and he was met with some pretty harsh criticism, and then, unfortunately, even witnessing. This board is DEFINITELY NOT the place to ignorantly tell someone that they are full of anger and that they should turn their life over to Jesus. I mean, come on, nobody on here thinks that talk like that is appropriate on here, nor relevant to discussion of LFBG.
To be honest, what would be much easier to swallow would be people's statements of excitement on how the prosperity of LFBG is going to help them do more, give more, help more, feed more, clothe more, etc., as anyone who has studied Jesus knows that his gospel is one of sacrifice, love, care, and meeting people's needs, both physical (Jesus always met the physical need first, and THEN spiritual). But, I digress, as I become guilty of the thing that irks me on this board.
I won't move on, b/c I believe this is a good investment based on the full merits of the company and the economic market for this type of product, etc, etc. However, my brokerage (and I doubt anyone else's) didn't make me check the "Yes, I'm a christian" box before placing a buy order for LFBG, and as this is NOT a christian forum, I think everyone is entitled to respect.
Unfortunately, religion is such a touchy subject, that people rarely afford respect for others on topics that touch on religion, and what I've witnessed is now once again an embarrassment to many of us Christians as anyone with a different opinion just gets bashed on mercilessly. At risk of casting stones, I would dare say it's less than Christ-like.
So all that rambling to say, I wish the topic of christianity wouldn't come up so much, but I also realize that there's probably no stopping it. I originally asked (politely I thought) for people to refrain, and was responded to with what I call the christian middle finger. (If you don't like us bible stompers, pack your bags and leave - attitude) ... which is why I refrained from really making any more comments.
However, when I saw someone have the nerve, on this board, to make a statement to another member out of ignorance and pride telling them that they need to turn their life over to Jesus to have positive feelings in life...I mean, COME ON, nobody in their right mind can think that's appropriate.
I would just ask that those of you who make religious-minded posts...when someone, fully within their rights, disagrees with you (and it won't be me, as I've said my piece and will continue to shift the worthwhile posts from the rest), be so kind as to get your flame throwing, bible beating comments to yourselves (you collectively). You're making the rest of us christians look like intolerant a-holes and it makes me mad and sad and disappointed all wrapped up in one.
Low, thanks for your thoughtful, and honestly, not inflammatory response. I appreciate your thoughts and also the clear effort you put into not adding fuel to the fire.
Ben
Thank you Mods for removing posts that would only continue to lead to divisive OT conversation ref: personal beliefs.
To all you who continue to post your opinions (positive and negative) as well as your own analysis of events, technical indicators, etc., - thank you deeply for helping me solidify my decision on how to invest in LFBG and for deepening my knowledge of this sliver of the financial market.
dang, where's all my dry powder when i need it!?!? ahhhh...if i only had more funds that were cleared.
congrats to all who picked up more shares down here.
Was over on the Iraqi side of post most of this evening (morning in the states) and missed the lowest dip, but I'm excited about today, I've been waiting for some more funds to transfer and hit my account (approx 3 day wait for me) and this consolidation came at a perfect time.
Didn't time the bottom of the dip perfectly, but added another 110k at .0095. While all green is nice, I was going to add regardless, and it's nice I added more at .0095 rather than .0115 or so, which is what I was worried about.
Goodnight all, must sleep...more Iraqi Army Engineer officers to train tomorrow. Glad to see sentiment is so high that even a red day is a good day with LFBG!
USAA definitely doesn't update live. Delay...although maybe not the full 15 minutes that it says on their website, USAA is still delayed.
camel spiders aren't spiders.
but LFBG rocks my socks.
oh yeah...here we go (maybe ;)
through .0089 to .009 by noon (well, 8 p.m. here in iraq) out to dinner, can't wait to check back in later before i hit the rack.
me sure wishy me had some powder to gets me some mores of these here LBSR...all my funds still tied up, would like to at least get 100k shares, which i know is probably small fry to what a lot of you guys are holding, but well, you know how it goes...
echoooo echooo....

LVL 2 real time quote
...and my point...
now a discussion on both sides takes place on topics totally irrelevant to LFBG. I think some folks earlier thought I was taking the side opposite their personal beliefs. Not so. This is an endless debate and I would prefer to see it take place somewhere else so that the LFBG board is something full of opinions and news and updates that are relative to me and my decision to buy, sell, or hold LFBG.
LVL 2 - oohh yeah!
0086 x 0088
Lvl 2 showing gap up right now to about .0085 ... I think. Yes? I am reading this lvl 2 correctly aren't I? The bid x ask is 0.0085 x 0.0086.
Yoweee!!
Lowman,
While still not agreeing with you, I appreciate your response. I would love to further this discussion outside of this public forum.
I'm choosing to not respond to Biko's condescending post.
I wish everyone a wonderful Monday of trading. To all those longs, I hope you have fun. To all those day/swing traders, I wish to you the best in timing the peaks and valleys as you capture profit or increase your position.
Lowman,
Out of respect for you as a fellow human being, I will answer your post. Out of respect for the rest of the members on this board, I will not carry on a continued discussion.
I respect your right to your opinions. I do not feel that the type of posts I referred to, which have become an increasing percentage of posts, falls within the intent of the User Agreement.
I'm not here to talk about pre-tribulation v. post-tribulation, rapture, pre-destination v. free will, absolute truth v. relativism, moral decline in America, the validity of the Revolutionary war, the Treaty of Tripoli of 1796-97 and it's impact on whether or not our nation was founded as a "Christian" nation, etc, etc. There are countless boards to discuss those topics, or find like-minded people to agree with.
My point is that I invest in companies based on solid business management, good products, a good business plan, and future potential. I realize that to many of you, that includes the emotional draw to this company and product for many christians, and that is a factor to take into consideration with this company. However...there are many posts with have little to do with this company, and I just feel that the place to air those views is not here.
Many "Christian" companies run by "good people" fail. And many "non-christian" companies succeed. And vice-versa. When the discussion goes from acknowledging the market-base for this company's products, to touting the company's growth as a result of supernatural/divine intervention, I think caution must be advised.
Your broad, generalized question with no context is rather confrontational and aggressive, but I will answer it anyway, hopefully in a non-escalatory manner. No, Christian talk does not bother me. My fiance will be an ordained Lutheran pastor in less than a year. My present is more than full of Christian talk, and my future will be so even more. I have a good friend who is an ER PA, and I love to talk with her about her gory ER operations, but not over dinner. There is a time and a place. That's all. There's a difference between being offended, and making a non-inflammatory statement saying that I don't think this board is the place for a lot of these posts.
I will continue to monitor the board regardless of the content, because my financial future, my current investments, and LFBG are important to me. But, just as it is your right to have whatever opinions you have, it is my right to politely ask that you refrain from splashing them across the board when I feel that they do not pertain to the betterment of the community in terms of making financial/investment decisions regarding LFBG. If you, or others, feel so strongly that you must express your political and religious beliefs on an investment board, so be it, that is your choice.
Peace to you.
Biko (and others),
I've sat silent patiently, but I'm on this board because of LFBG, and LFBG alone. There is a time and a place to air your opinions on separation of church and state, the "downfall" of our nation, or whatever else you wish to freely believe. I don't think this is the time or the place. I'm not trying to be harsh...I would just respectfully ask that you and others take your posts like the one I'm responding to, which has nothing to do with LFBG, and have those discussions elsewhere. Thank you.
Now about LFBG...going to be an exciting week.
And...today is 7 Nov, which is halfway to 14 Nov, which is almost halfway to end of Nov :)
And it's an hour earlier in the States, which means from I can watch the market after work instead of during work from my desk here in the great country of Iraq, which does not observe daylight savings time.
Hello to all...still looking forward to a run up the second half of this month!
Rocky62-
You're a Pattern Day Trader as per trading rules. See below.
From the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) website:
Summary of the Day-Trading Margin Requirements
The rules adopt a new term "pattern day trader," which includes any margin customer that day trades (buys then sells or sells short then buys the same security on the same day) four or more times in five business days, provided the number of day trades are more than six percent of the customer's total trading activity for that same five-day period. Under the rules, a pattern day trader must maintain minimum equity of $25,000 on any day that the customer day trades. The required minimum equity must be in the account prior to any day-trading activities. If the account falls below the $25,000 requirement, the pattern day trader will not be permitted to day trade until the account is restored to the $25,000 minimum equity level

oooohhhhh.
yep, feel slightly stooopppiidddd. thanks Jin. much appreciated. so, survey says, i best be buying lest i'll soon be crying (in a few weeks...crying if i've failed to load as much as as possible)
aggg... am i an idiot or what? i don't see a link above survey...anywhere. bahhh...i have the feeling i'm going to feel like a real idiot when i find this survey, but at least i'll still have my LBSR :)
You say:
BTW did you read the MIT's Technology Review on the other stock. If will be fun to see if SFMI or the other one breaks $1.00 first!
Where is the survey? Is it in a specific post, and if so could someone link the number of that post...
I will probably refrain from voting, only because for me to vote is pure speculation as I have read thousands of the posts on LBSR, but still understand that that does not qualify me to make supported predictions that are anything other than speculation on my part....
but I am most interested in looking at the survey.
again, tks.
I got in LBSR when I was pretty new to everything, but looked right a great company...right before the lawsuit was settled, lost about 60%, stayed in though. Got out just to free up the funds b/c LBSR was moving pretty sideways, got some more green, got back in at basically same shares, same cost...but somewhere in the middle I kind of lost track of a lot of the news.
Can someone just in a couple of lines break down for me what the common thoughts are on potential JV news in the next month or so? In terms of...those of you that are far more educated than me, I'm just curious to hear predictions of possible levels if a JV is confirmed.
(I'm in LBSR to stay for quite a while, and will continue to steadily add shares at these prices, but just for my daydreaming, what does everybody think this may go to and when?) :)
TIA
Hello all...got in yesterday at .025, thinking about picking up some more at .022-.023 ... I saw a couple of predictions for today for .04 and .05 ... any other thoughts out there?
Bike - still relatively new here, can you (or someone else) explain, or provide a good resource for explaining, the numbers you provided for shorts. I understand the shorts and that with all things pointing up, the shorts will have to buy to cover, but I don't know what the numbers mean or their relevance.
TIA to all who have contributed to my quickly growing knowledge base.
have been watching L2 as well...still learning L2 somewhat, but can clearly see the direction it's heading...I was more asking for long term (i.e., longer than today ;)
Thanks for everything all...will be reading all past PRs
Thanks. Will do. I guess I'll start way back down the line somewhere and read through about 5000 of these posts, get myself spun up on the details, but for right now, I'll trust those of you on here enough to at least wait a day. :)
Please no one take this as challenging the validity of these comments, I've only been following the board here for LFBG for a few days...
I'm just curious, where are the predictions of .01 by mid-Nov or EOM or .02-.05 coming from? What are they based on? Gut instinct or expected PR release, or what?
I guess I got in LFBG because it looked like it would move well, and normally I would be placing a sell limit at .006 or .0062 and just capture small intraday profit...but just wondered why the big predictions...
This might be one I just say I'm going long through the Xmas selling holiday.
TIA for humoring the Noob...
pre-market is now at .34
Hello everyone -- new here to LFBG. I've been watching LFBG for a few days, waiting to get out of CPMCF (glad I did at 290% profit)...now I'm waiting to get into LFBG this morning.
Typically I look for relatively short moves, set a return limit, and call it a day, but this looks like one that everyone (much smarter than I) seems to think is a no-brainer to go long.
Wondered what the breakout in opinion was in terms of is this a definite want to hold onto at least through the end of 2010?
Thoughts are much appreciated...thanks for all the good reading and info everyone.
bdj
tks. out now...GLTA
real time quote anyone?
yep...me too. stop coming up...
