Well, if it isn't it should be. The best thing about Massachusetts is the adrenaline rush when you drive there. It's the only place I've driven where the other drivers actually aim for you and keep score on a special cell app available only to Mass. drivers.
Soxy will know the real one, I bet. He has probably passed out, I mean gone to bed already!
They are currently litigating the dispute over the ownership of this asset. The next hearing is in December. They were unable to come to terms on this asset that has been in dispute for well over a year now.
The loan is not final. If it was, they would have taken out a full page in the WSJ to announce it. The sidelines has been the BEST place to be since last August, well, unless you're a flipper.
Just different perspectives, I do wish you well. I guess money can be made on companies that sell stock for a living. WGAS is a stock selling company in my opinion.
and no one saw the first well under-producing either. Endless posts were devoted to estimated BOPD and estimated revenue and the wonderfulness of our leader Tony and his loyalty tests and the great rewards that awaited those who held long and strong.
The asset is in dispute. Forgetting the whole no revenue to make loan payments issue and just focusing on the FACT that the ownership of VM179 is in dispute, no drilling will start until that dispute is resolved and many fees are paid to the attorneys. No loans will be finalized on a disputed asset. Stock will be sold, lots of it.
If that loan was final they would be shouting it from the rooftops. That type of funding is often announced and never finalized here in WGAS pinky world. The reason these companies deal with the Toxic guys is because they cannot get any other financing without REVENUE. Does WGAS have revenue?? Case closed on the loans. Can they drill on disputed property?? Case closed on the drilling. They have had since December of 2011 to settle this dispute. Was it settled leading up to this long scheduled session today?? No it wasn't. So back to reality, WGAS is a stock selling company, it sells stock.
You just never know. No revenue, no assets that are not in dispute, toxic funding out the wazoo and very highly compensated staff. And certainly no chance of finalizing those non-equity based loans without anything to produce revenue to make the payments. But, I've seen these pinkies sell worthless paper for way more than this one is. It's interesting to watch, probably profitable to quick flip if that's your thing but WGAS has performed just as I said it would. Glad not to be holding any.
Here it is Susie.
Massachusetts - where driving is the best adventure!
I think that's it.
No doubt, if the dilution continues as it has gone during the last few months, the OS will need to be raised. I guess, now everyone should see why they wanted to leave it so large to begin with.
But, if promos keep running, there are flipping opportunities here. So much for Tony and Charlie's loyalty tests and hatred of flippers. This is like a welcome mat for them. This is the second promo this year, isn't it? Looks like the B team though.
Always helps to have a promo running at times like these, just to keep it out of the trips. I am certain the toxic guys are using this to position their sells. And the company will need additional "operating" money, potentially thru year end so deals will be made to pay those huge salaries.
IMO if there was any chance of a settlement it would have happened before this hearing today. The fact is, both parties apparently stood their ground and they are willing to keep paying their attorneys.
Typical pink strategy, move expectations out as far as possible and keep dumping stock. WGAS is a share selling company, nothing more.
Most who have researched MTL have concluded that she was, at the least, bi-polar. And, it is true, I cannot imagine losing even one child. She endured losing 3 of her 4 before adulthood. But, and this isn't meant to sound cold, it was not so uncommon in those days. There were not many families that did not lose one or more children to disease. It was part of life and more easily endured because it was so common.
If you are a history buff, and I recall that you are, she is an interesting character.
Looks like the market opened and closed today and stocks either went up or down and some had news. Exciting stuff, sorry to have missed all the action, not!
Everything depends on who paid for the promo this week. If the company paid, they will put out some kind of info to reinforce the share price. If the Toxic guys paid, it will all depend on their current relationship with the company (ie, are they willing to provide more funding in the future), or maybe it's Tony paying for the promo to dump his remaining shares, unless his are the oft mentioned restricted ones.
In any case, the share selling went well on Friday, dismally yesterday and today was kind of neutral. Come on WGAS, do what you do, sell stock!
I am sure the spousal has many other attributes that you find much more appealing than cooking then. You should have the meal catered and do a Sedar. Your perspective as an adult will be much different. Enjoy the wine!
Just watched Lincoln. His spousal was much crazier than she was portrayed in the movie and we all know Sally can play crazy, not sure why they downplayed that aspect of Lincoln's pressured life. Anyway, I thought it was an excellent movie.
I can't dispute your allegations.
We are suing our Groundhog here. He predicted an early spring. Last night 4 inches of snow with another 3 on the way tonight. I think we have a strong case.
No Passover- is your spousal cooking something special and won't you have special wine? I dated a Jewish guy and the traditions are beautiful. You shouldn't skip them.
Just call me Lemming. I will come back, I just took the summer off and let my Ihub lapse but I have given in a renewed so I will post there again.
How have you been - doing anything special for the Holiday?
Well you ran off so I thought I should emulate the master. Was that wrong?
Sure that's it. The bid/ask spread is worlds apart and he could have probably jumped the bid and gotten them on that side. But instead he said to himself, "what the heck, I'll just spend another $300 bucks on this trade."
Yeah, that's it - just a smart trade, no attempt to paint anything or make the chart look better. Just a person wanting to put a couple of extra bucks into the toxic financier's pocket.
Thanks! I'll be looking in. Nice timing on the promos then. Makes you think someone is concerned about the outcome. But did you see that last big buy above the ask. Now, I wonder why anyone would buy above the ask? Oh well, it will make that chart look even better. Smoke meet mirror.
Enjoy your evening.
No, charts are irrelevant in no revenue, no asset, toxic financed, heavily manipulated penny stocks. It's easy to "build" a pretty chart down here. Usually they make sure all the indicators are perfect just before a promo.
So, that hearing is not this week then?
Darn, it would be more interesting if you were clairvoyant. Waiting for someone to leave the room and then talking about them is so completely normal and boring.
Nice catching up, Derf. It's been awhile. I need to go now, maybe we can talk again soon - say HiYa to the Grotto for me!
I am not an Ibox expert, generally I just hide them so maybe you could take the same approach with your package. Just keep it hidden.
So you give wise advice to the departed? Are you clairvoyant?
And I spelled clairvoyant without hearing google groan! Proud moment.
An onion a day would keep everyone away!
I only follow boards that are never posted on. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to log in once a week and see that I am all caught up on my reading here. I just hate it when someone actually posts and I really need to read.
How have you been Mr. Derf?
Yes, we could discuss my good friend who married a doctor a couple of years ago. Things were fine at first and then, for some unknown reason, she started eating an apple a day. And, well, you know what happened next. I have been consoling her. Do you have any wisdom to impart?
If you would like to stimulate that discussion, you should update the ibox.
I think it's your "goodies". Do you bake?
Hey DB2, long time! I guess as in all things, there are a variety of creative and entertaining approaches!
How are your brackets?
You are absolutely correct, as usual. Thank you for pointing out the error in my thinking.
Of course, my thought was that the cast of survivor and the film crew would be the only ones aboard and Carnival would just provide the broken ship as a setting that would be comparable to the typical Survivor setting. This would generate revenue for Carnival without subjecting 1000 or more hapless cruisers to their pattern of mechanical failure.
I stand corrected and bow to your far superior logic. Meanwhile I will stay on dry ground and not take the death trip on the Titanic 11.
I take a proactive and holistic approach to my health but, again, thank you for your kind concern.
Stay well and happy!
Fair enough Anvil. As long as I don't need to let anyone here select the potential names. There are a couple who might select, well I prefer not to imagine it.
Go Bucks! Nice shot at the buzzer for the win!
You probably have more info on Q and N than I do, Chief. I have left this behind so long ago, as far as I am concerned I pushed the buy button and I pushed the sell button. I lost money. Trades done. Learn and move on or stay and create wild stories, I choose to take the expensive lesson and move forward. Enjoy your afternoon. As they say on the penny stock ticker boards next week.
I explained the name change, it is your choice not to accept my explanation. It is the absolute truth. The people who really want to hide just create a new alias around here. My posting history is intact, I have only one alias and I explained why the name changed. You can maintain your sinister, dramatic spin though. No worries.
Thanks Chief, it's good to know that you don't want me dead. Really, I am touched.
I was forced to change my handle when a Chinese pumper clown took a name so close to mine that people thought I was the one pumping stuff that was on the grays. I followed her around and pleaded with her to change her name back to Narnia but to no avail.
Vonnegut is one of the people on the list of people I would like to spend and afternoon with, his mind was fascinating and his view of our society was prophetic. Even some of his minor works like Slapstick, where things like the US falling apart and becoming an unstructured land of small nation-states and people being so lonely and disassociated from their families that they adopted flower surnames so they would have a family connection with others who were Daffodils, are not so far-fetched today.
If some pumper clown took the name, ANVEL or ANVAL you would reconsider, I bet.
Yes, one of the great pieces of literature of our lifetime!
I hope your brackets remain unbroken!
Oh, and sorry to be rude ( I was thrown just a little by the offer of payment for my death), anyway, no I do not own any SNTL nor have I ever bought, sold or otherwise traded that stock.
I am certain that the drum is exhausted from the beating. I will leave it to the experts. Enjoy.
It's lovely to know that you wish me dead. I wish you health and happiness, always Mr. Gringo. And, I truly hope you are able to live your perfect, error free life for a very long time.
Thanks Porgie!
Geez, all I see on this board is basketball talk.
Not to change the subject but, does anyone else think they should film the next season of Survivor aboard a Carnival Cruise ship?
Were you at Les Miserables yesterday?? Very strange movie. Wolverine sings like an opera star(actually, he brings Cat Woman to tears with his singing). Anyway. Wolverine is chased by the Gladiator and Cat Woman has a baby at Borat's house. Then everyone dies. I may need to see it one more time.
You do seem to have the gift of prophecy Nitty! So, how much higher will the markets go, Oh Guru of Wall Street??
Thanks for the "welcome". No time for chairs today but I will be around.
Stolen from another board but one of the best things I've ever read on the hub. The creator of Dilbert knows things!
'DILBERT' CREATOR: Here's Why I Predicted Market Manipulators Will Make The Stock Market Crash 20%
http://www.businessinsider.com/dilbert-scott-adams-on-financial-markets-2013-3
Yesterday, Scott Adams, the creator of world-renowned comic-strip "Dilbert," published a blog post predicting a 20 percent drop-off in financial markets and said stock movements were little more than a conspiracy among Wall Street's elite.
We were a bit surprised to see a cartoonist making a very specific call about a forthcoming "correction."
So we reached out to him to clarify his remarks, and he was kind enough to respond via email.
I'm glad you had the wisdom to get a cartoonist's opinion on global financial markets.
The 20% estimate is based on the fact that 20 is a big round number and more likely to happen than 30%. I don't like to over-think these things.
My reasoning is that the people at the highest levels of finance are brilliant people who chose a profession with the credibility of astrology. And they know it. Then they sell their advice to people who don't know it. So that's your cast of characters.
Now consider that the characters - who are literally geniuses in many cases -have an immense financial motive, opportunity, and a near-zero risk of getting caught. How do you think that plays out?
We can only give a guess of the odds that the market is being manipulated. So I ask myself: How often does the fox leave the hen house because he feels that taking an egg would be wrong?
If you have a different answer from mine, I applaud your faith in human nature.
There you go.
So there you go..
