I was forced to change my handle when a Chinese pumper clown took a name so close to mine that people thought I was the one pumping stuff that was on the grays. I followed her around and pleaded with her to change her name back to Narnia but to no avail.
Vonnegut is one of the people on the list of people I would like to spend and afternoon with, his mind was fascinating and his view of our society was prophetic. Even some of his minor works like Slapstick, where things like the US falling apart and becoming an unstructured land of small nation-states and people being so lonely and disassociated from their families that they adopted flower surnames so they would have a family connection with others who were Daffodils, are not so far-fetched today.
If some pumper clown took the name, ANVEL or ANVAL you would reconsider, I bet.
