No news by the end of 2nd quarter.
Again they tell us one thing and don't deliver when they say they will. Looks like a new low is in the cards. I emailed them to let them know my displeasure. As suggested I think we need to let them know.
Share price reflects the information available.
Very well put Downsideup. In fact I think your entire post should be communicated to the management at ABSY to help improve public/investor perception. We can all see that there is movement going on behind the scene but whether they are just spinning their wheels and burning up precious gas money or making potentially profitable progress is still unclear. Especially with their ever downward trending share price. In my opinon you are correct. There are plenty of steps they can take to improve perception and not break client confidentiality.
Thanks for your detailed response. Yes usually I trade Nasdaq. Usually Tech as that is what career field I'm in. This is the only Pink I have ever taken a position in. I see the potential for MM's to manipulate these thinly traded stocks so much more than more liquid ones. I have wondered if ABSY is being held low on purpose until positions are filled. At least thats what I'm hoping. But the truth is there is more selling at the Bid than buying at the Ask with this stock. Or at least there appears to be. All the after hours block trades that have been happening since Nov 07 are generally even lower than the Bid price. What's that all about? Not used to that sort of trading. The 2nd quarter is coming to an end now and the carrots that were dangled in previous news releases need to be given up if this company want to have any credibility with its "long time" shareholders. Patience is needed I agree but so is a little bit of honesty with the people who are funding your business with their hard earned dollars. I would be happy to be jumping in at .03 now but many of us have been here for a while. hearing the same old promises of just around the corner there is something great going to happen. And maybe something great will happen but it will have taken a lot of misleading to get there. Lets hope this is the one. JMO
I don't understand why we are sitting at our all time low if Big News is supposed to be just weeks if not days away. Makes no sense.
Please, no more good news!
Didn't we already have a sales funnel of 110 million
December 07
The Company highlighted that its sales backlog is building solidly with aggregate orders anticipated to surpass $1 Million soon into the New Year backed by a qualified sales funnel of well over $110 Million.
May 08
National retailers are moving ahead to formalize their interest in
proceeding to the next step towards adopting the solution, propelling the value of the sales funnel beyond $65 Million
Did I miss something here?
I've been following your posts on Yahoo with interest. I agree big multi-nationals do move slowly but technology innovation doesn't. You can go from leading edge to becoming old news quickly. Yes ABSY's active tags can be read at greater distances than passive tags but that technology is changing. As an example check out what this company has done with passive tag reading distances. http://www.rfidjournal.com/article/articleview/4019/1/1/ and the companies they have relationships with. http://www.rfidjournal.com/article/articleview/4041/ A year and a half ago when I stated purchasing this stock we were on the leading edge but I'm not so sure anymore. Just my opinion. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hey, some buying at the ask price the last 2 days. Chart trending up also after a long period of consolidation.
Looks like they just forgot to mention the contract's potential dollar value in the previous news release. All in all we seem to be in much better shape fundamentally then last year at this time. Would be nice if the PPS started to reflect that.
Thanks for the link
ABSY is currently a real company with a real product and real customers and a big multi-national partner but I understand what your saying. I too would like to know why his name is on the Nevada Articles of Incorporation. Is this John Sparrow on the lamb?. Is this even his real name?
From what I can see John Sparrow is listed as an inactive officer on ABSY's board of directors. He has been linked to some shady activity in the past. Maybe pennypusher1 can elaborate on that. Would be much appreciated. Also check this iHub board; http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=8969
I hope you're right about the couple months time frame. My biggest worry is if it takes too long to roll this product out someone will come along with a better one and spoil the party. ABSY's R&D budget can't be all that much. There's a lot of bigger companies out there with deeper pockets developing RFID products. A few extra sales channels would help. Fujitsu is a huge plus but we seem to have our eggs all in one basket. I would have thought that UNIVERSAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS would have been able to do more by now. I can't even find ABSY's product on their website. On the other hand it does seem like someone likes this stock at this price so I'm hoping its smart money buying these millions of shares.
Appreciate your input glassy...Thanks
Could someone take a look at ABSY's chart and give me your opinion on the volume spike over the last couple months? Seems like a bottom to me but I would sure appreciate a second opinion if I can get one. Thanks...
I noticed a message board has started up on Yahoo for ABSY.
Did you notice the first trade today and the after hours trade are the same size (137910). It looks to me that a market maker picked up those shares at 0.0364 and sold them at 0.038 but it didn't get reported until after hours. Thats my guess anyway.
t 0.0364 137910 OTO 16:08:25
0.056 9150 OTO 15:40:42
0.055 9150 OTO 15:40:42
0.039 6000 OTO 09:36:11
0.038 137910 OTO 09:35:29
Yes it was from Dec 2007

Another day of record volume
Oh to be a market maker and be in the know.
Thought I had lost this email. Here is all I know. This is from an email back in mid December 2007.
There are 36 Million shares outstanding, most are restricted. Free Float, last count, was about 6.2 Million Shares. Management shares are restricted and non-trading.
Here you go MrT11.
Thank you for your recent inquiry.
Our present focus is on the retail market in North America. There have been updates over the past three months in various press releases.
Retail represents are the greatest opportunity and prospects for revenue in the very short term. The order backlog is approaching $1 Million as recently disclosed.
There is interest from Homeland Security but this is potentially ahead of us - naturally we would need an integrator to work on this one.
All public announcements can be found on our web site along with various media articles.
Thank you for your interest.

Investor Relations
I wonder what happened to these things from the March 15 2006 press release? Especially the last one. Not trying to stir the pot here just beginning to realize that words like FINALIZED, SERIOUS and SOON seem to mean "IN THE NEXT YEAR OR SO".
- Agreements are being "FINALIZED" with a contract manufacturer and new sales channel in specialty retail. These new agreements conform neatly into the Company’s partnering strategy per previous agreements in place with Fujitsu Transaction Solutions, Universal Surveillance Systems and IBM Global Finance.
- Having received "SERIOUS" interest from the Office of Homeland Security, the Company has entered into ongoing technical and product exchanges. Potential has been identified on a number of fronts within this important program.
- An announcement will be made "SOON" regarding previously disclosed financing in the form of a convertible instrument which will be utilized to finance initial orders and growth opportunities.
Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks Engr. I've also been watching HYPF's chart. Looking interesting here but I'd like to see a bit more volume. The 2 charts look similar but ABSY continues to sell off past tax selling season which concerns me a bit. Oh well, the odds are still better than buying lottery tickets. Thanks again.
Hey Engr. Haven't seen you on the ABSY board for a while. Just wondering what your take on all the abnormal volume is. Do you think its just shuffling like before?
I think the decimal was in the wrong place .035
If you go to Fujitsu's Website their Pervasive Retailing Journal for Winter 2008 is out. ABSY's product is featured on the front page.

Just click on the Download PDF link on that page.
I Agree. Seemed like an awful long time for Staples and Fujitsu to agree on the timing of that press release. On the bright side though the ABSY press release about a growing order book said 1 million in sales by the first of the new year. I would imagine that Staples is the bulk of that. Some quick math here then; 5 stores = 1 million. 280 stores in Canada alone = 56 million. Thats half of the 110 million they spoke about so there must be other prospects. Don't know how many stores are in the US but I would imagine 5 times the Canadian number at least. As long as they have enough cash to keep themselves afloat I see a good future here.
Record Volume Today
Looks like this stock is going to either pop or drop shortly. Lots of volume and a narrowing trading range. Lets hope its the seller and not the buyer that walks away.
Well about 400 people attended the RFID Journal Live Canada Exibition in Toronto on Nov 26-28. Our man Joe Soares from Staples was a guest speaker. The event featured case studies from several leading early adopters, including Agence Métropolitaine de Transport, The Boeing Co., CAMI Automotive, CVRD Inco, Dollar Chest, Hewlett-Packard, Loblaw Companies Ltd., Staples Business Depot and Wal-Mart Canada.Here's an outline of what he was speaking on. The link to the website is below;

Staples Uses Active RFID for In-Store Tracking and Security
Staples Business Depot, the 270-store supplier of office products, recently tested RFID for tracking shrinkage and high value products inside a large Montreal retail store. This follows extensive testing of passive tags for supply chain tracking. Hear where the company found the most potential for each type of RFID tag and where Staples is planning to deploy each.
Speaker:
Joe Soares, Director, Retail Processes, Staples Business Depot
Takeaway:
• Insights into the benefits of using active RFID for product visibility on the retail floor
• Understanding the benefits of using both active and passive tags in retail operations
Thanks
So Staples did stick it to them over the price. Well at least it will increase awareness and possibly acceptance by others. Good news.
They seem to be avoiding the question of dilution
Encouraging to see the product still in use after the pilot is over.
My biggest question now is, How much do they make per tag or per store and will that translate into increased shareholder value. The Staples where I am use anti-theft devices on probably the same products that ABSY's tags would go on. I tried asking one of the employees there about RFID tags but he didn't know what RFID was. So no help there. lol Thanks for the info and encouragement.
Thanks hapslap
Thanks for keeping us informed. I received no answer to my last email. Must be getting sick of hearing from me. lol
You may be right. It seems manipulated too.
Most of the shares are being traded at the lower Bid price and then very often 100 shares( 5 dollars worth at today's price)will be bought at the Ask price raising the price. It's almost like someone is trying to hide the selling going off at the Bid as to not cause panic selling while they continue to unload. This has been going on for sometime now but I thought I was just imagining it.
Another Big after hours sale
A big percentage of this volume has been after hours. Why are they being done just after 4PM?
348200 @ 0.0502 yesterday at 16:08
145600 @ 0.0486 today at 16:06
I think last Friday was the same but my time & sales can't see back that far. Are these sales between market makers? Hey Engr are you still around?
800,000 shares today. 400,000 on Friday.
O.K. Which one of you is selling? lol Good thing there are buyers or we would have hit .01
Have you listened to the interview from last year?
It was much of the same stumbling over words and general nervousness. My personal opinion is the CEO just doesn't interview well. In the first interview the COO was also present and sounded much more confident. It would be better for investor confidence if the two of them were interviewed together from now on.
Thanks for posting
Seems to be one delay after another. With no revenue it's possible they don't have a great cash position to be buying back stock. Just as long as they're not the ones selling!
This stock doesn't seem to like good news.
Anymore good news and we could see .01 shortly. Did Staples put the screws to them over price or what? What does the street know that we don't?
No one else care to take a guess?
All there seems to go on is:
- the previous buyout offer of 3.50/share
- the 25 million expected revenue for 2007
- pricing may be a lease per month per store
- 23,450,000 shares outstanding as of Apr 30, 2006
Good point.
Valuation is always based looking forward. I think I read that the tags are leased by the customer on a monthly basis rather than purchased. Staples has 280 stores in Canada and 1900 worldwide. I agree once one big chain rolls it out that its inevitable that others will follow. I think you picked a winner this time. If ABSY was trying to do this on their own I would be skeptical but with a big multi-national corporation like Fujitsu in our corner the risk to reward ratio is greatly improved. JMO
