That happened last week and it was pretty clear to me...
“The ‘substantive’ phase involves the FDA’s scientific review of the PMTA and associated data. Bidi and Kaival are waiting for a final decision in the coming weeks, with an approval officially designating the products as ‘appropriate for the protection of public health.’”
One just needs to look at the time & sales to see the true story.
11:19AM - $12k trade at $.0927
11:20AM - $15k trade at $.094
1:08PM - $54k trade at $.095
1:57PM - $37k trade at $.055
Sure, one can argue that some of these were sales, but all trades had a buyer too.
$122k traded above $.09
$52k traded between $.08 and $.09
$83k traded between $.07 and $.08
$72k traded between $.06 and $.07
$65k traded between $.05 and $.06
I don't see that.
Etrade and Nasdaq website isn't showing anything.
Possibly, but management is still exposed to lawsuits, especially with all their blunders in the last half year.
I expected the business to speak for itself, regardless of the rookie mistakes by management.
Wrong unfortunately, but that's why diversifying is key. It's what I learned years ago. The drop hurts, but I won't lose sleep over KAVL.
I don't believe the company lied to get on the NASD.
I think the CEO has made multiple missteps that in the end hurt the company. The FDA decisions, the lack of distributors/retailers buying products before FDA decision, etc aren't in the company's control.
What is in the company's control is getting in front of things. There have been multiple material events that management decided to sit on for months instead of informing shareholders.
Not many companies on the OTC have an actual product they are selling/distributing.
Even fewer companies on the OTC move to NASD.
On top of that, there are almost no OTC companies who do $100,000,000 a year in revenue, especially with audited fins.
So I placed my bets accordingly and I have no one to blame but myself. This is life, and if anyone can't come to grips with that, then I feel sorry for them.
Thanks for checking in though. You'll be happy to know my life is unaffected. I didn't lose my job, my family is healthy, my bills will continue to be paid, I'll continue to max out my 401k and I'll continue to live my life.
Good luck in all your future endeavors.
Are you the board's savior? Let people do what they want.
Multiple very large buyers showed up today taking us up to .10 twice with the highest volume in the last 6 years.
Trend is up in the short/medium term and the price hasn't been this high since 2015.
Let's not forget the company was inactive for a very long time, was behind on their payments to the transfer agent, NVSOS, etc. They put up a lot of money to get active.
That tells me there are things in store for the ticker. Good luck to you.
They pulled bids into close, instantly afterhours it went back up towards $11. If anything, we saw a ton of shares change hands above $12. Anyone who wanted out from their $6/$7/$10 positions had their chance. Let the new investors hold and carry us to new highs!
We're getting eyes on us at the perfect time. Earnings next week or two, plus could hear from the FDA any day now.
Oh no, I'm still here daydreaming, just have been on vacation the last 2 weeks. :)
What are you even saying? They filed their financials....
Still trading peanuts. The next Quarterly should see some life. The #s should hit big boy scanners.
Tough to say for sure, but I'm trying to remain patient.
I have a few dogs for sure lol. Won't top my best, when I took a huge loss on MoviePass (HMNY) back in the day. Ugh, what a turd!
Happens, can't win them all. Definitely need some write offs after this year.
Good luck to you.
Not sure to be honest, but it's coverage and the company does other NASD stocks so it can't be a bad thing.
I still believe institutional investors are coming, but it takes a few Qs to get that moving.
Great find!
We think that Kaival Brands’ market cap near $150 million does not adequately reflect prospects for the expanded market adoption and distribution of BIDI® products. We note that the current market cap is less than one-time our 2021 revenue estimate, while the average market cap in the tobacco industry is 4-times revenue
In comparing Kaival Brands with a hybrid basket of global distributor and tobacco stocks, we use a blended forward EV/revenue multiple near 3.0 (this assumes a multiple of 0.6 for distributors, weighted at 33%, and a multiple of 4.3 for tobacco stocks, weighted at 67%). Applying this blended multiple to our fiscal 2022 revenue estimate of $460 million, discounted back one period at 20%, and adjusting for the share count, we arrive at a fair value estimate for KAVL of $22 per share.
Lack of patience is a terrible thing, miss out on many great investments.
Good luck to you.
Sure, they don't communicate with shareholders, but who cares?
They bought shares on the open market, they are diversifying their fleet, they are investing their cash for better returns.
These actions are shareholder friendly, sorry if you feel otherwise.
Stockholder equity increased by about $20M which bumps up the book value to $3.00/share.
I like this line:
Harbor acquired 593,472 shares of its common stock pursuant to the stock repurchase program during the three months ended June 30, 2021.
and:
In July 2021, Air Wisconsin entered into a lease for a CRJ-200 aircraft in freighter configuration that is estimated to be delivered in the three months ending September 30, 2021. Air Wisconsin has also added the CRJ-700, and is in the process of adding the CRJ-900, to its FAA Operations Specifications. Although, Air Wisconsin does not currently have a customer for the freighter or any CRJ-700 or CRJ-900 aircraft, it is adding these additional aircraft capabilities to its fleet in an attempt to position itself to explore and take advantage of other business opportunities that may arise.
I would assume it's coming soon. Not really watching KAVL these days, you don't up list to NASD for no good reason. Just a bit more patience and we'll see the the story moves forward.
Have a good weekend!
I liked this video, but...
"This video has been removed for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines"
Looks like he sold all 25k of his shares!
If this goes over $1, I will buy a flight to Japan and get a WayBack burger out there :p
But, if Bidi gets rejected by the FDA, then you can't sell Bidi Vapor for $200MM because their isn't a viable asset. Sure it can still be sold overseas, but no where near the revenues we're seeing here in the states, yet.
So that tells me, based on the FDA decision later this year, we should see some sort of buyout (like you said all share transfer) sooner rather than later, UNLESS, Niraj has complete confidence in FDA approval. Then after approval Bidi Vapor would technically be worth more.
Either way, I would welcome owning Bidi under the assumption we are approved by the FDA. A company with products vs a distributor is going to change our valuation metrics for the better. Then we can really compare KAVL to an RLX that trades at 8x sales. Say we do $150MM this year, at 8x, assuming an O/S of 56M after the offering($200MM/$6/share), that prices us up in the $21+ range. If growth continues in the 25-100% year over year range, in a few years, watch out!
Also, with all these halts due to volatility, the small float, being on NASD, we're getting noticed. Have you seen some of the moves these low float NASD plays make? They can do 1000%+ moves in a few days, and we actually have a good story behind us.
The company has been very quiet lately so let's hope we hear something soon :) Long and strong BuyN, have a great weekend.
Has anyone here called Bill or Jason at Wayback in regards to WBBA?
https://waybackburgers.com/Franchising/
Ugh, you're here too.
Get used to it man. It's going to happen a lot with any quick movements.
There's a reason I don't post here anymore haha. Holding my shares from .003s.
I think the hypothesis makes sense and I'm pretty sure I also mentioned this would happen some time ago.
If the plan is to get Bidi under KAVL, or buy Bidi and rename KAVL, whatever, they have 2 options.
1) Wait till FDA "approves" Bidi stick, cementing the product as legal to sell and allowing for a continuous revenue stream for the company.
2) Buy Bidi now before FDA. This allows insiders of Bidi to "cash out", before risking the FDA decision. Otherwise, why would KAVL buy Bidi if FDA rejects the products?
If KAVL doesn't buy Bidi before FDA decision, and the FDA does reject, then Niraj makes no money on Bidi Vapor, and misses out on the US market which as we've seen generates tens of millions a quarter in revenues. Additionally, if Bidi gets rejected, we are all bag holders.
On the flipside, where is he going to find $200M to buy out Bidi and cash out? Are those investors willing to take the risk of a negative FDA decision? I guess it would depend on the terms but there is no way he is going to raise $200M in the open market. He needs to line up investment bankers, hedge funds, private equity, etc.
I guess the other thing is issue enough shares of KAVL to Bidi insiders (to the tune of $200M), but you aren't lowering your risk by owning more KAVL shares. You'd need to find another buyer, and again, based on the volume we're seeing, good luck selling more than a handful of shares at a time.
So why don't you ignore the noise?
I am also against post that ridicule and demean other posters.
Aren't you doing this by calling out spelling errors/phrases and "misleading" statements?
Interesting right?
I'm confused are your for or against BABL?
I saw someone bidding 5k shares at 5.99. Looks like they didn't want to wait and slapped all the way through 6.50. Then I saw his remaining 2700 shares.
As we know, this is thin. When real buyers show up it's going to bounce hard.
Tick tock, let's see the big updates Niraj!
It's most likely due to % gain in a short period of time.
LOL.
KAVL got temporarily halted because of a 5k buy.
If someone can find a broker to buy shares, but my guess is that's not the case.
They already have millions of shares, they aren't going to be able to buy millions more in the open market while on the greys, IMO.
Great points.
Might have to try and contact the company asking about those assets. I'll see what I can get.
OTC markets is still being updated, so I'll use that until it stops.
Looks like this could hit a buck if not more. Minimal shares available and if insiders are the ones buying, they aren't going to sell here.
CAPV has the makings of a monster.
Minimal trading up until now as everyone thought it was dead. Now they are moving faster to pink current then a lot of shells.
Oh, and it's only valued at $1.5M lol.
Holding all my bags :p
