Little things add up, swim (E(:
Just ask anybody that lives off a credit card.
(E(:
Them credit card companies just *LOVE* that
mincemeat pie. They make their livin` off it.
(E(:
Oh, I gotcha, newinmarket (E(:
Instead of W2 lookin` for folks to buy plants,
you're talkin` about folks with land lookin` for
somethin` to put on the land to make money.
Well, Mac's pretty well laid out the production
data. Doc should have it all posted.
The problem you laid out is how to get the
landowner and W2 together, and *then* sell the
product(s) to local buyers.
Kinda backwards from the "built-in buyer" scenario,
in other words.
Am I with ya now?
Well, it's the same problem, seems to me. Plain
old straightforward MARKETING.
Good question. How do you find folks with land
to lease, or whatever, to do this? Or get them
to look for W2?
Kinda like the salt lick lookin` for the cow now,
ain`t it....
Or maybe ol` WhirlyBen Bernanke flyin` over throwin`
money outa helicopters to stimulate the economy.
Is he ever gonna do that? I'm gettin` a crick in
my neck waitin` on him....
Kinda like them cows waitin` on the salt licks to
git here....
Toldja cows ain`t as stupid as they look.
(E(:
Okay, newinmarket, I think I see (E(:
what you want. You`re all about how we get the cow
to the salt lick.
Well, first off, cows ain`t the smartest beasts,
but they ain`t as stupid as they look.
And we want to milk the situation, of course.
Well, I think I said it already---
EXPOSURE, EXPOSURE, EXPOSURE
Now, there ought to be some specialized media for
the target audience. For cows, it`s a moo. You
gotta moo.
Now how do we moo to these folks in all these little
towns?
Ain`t they got their own trade publications? I mean,
go in an office for a municipal waste outfit and look
on the coffe table, if they got one. What`s on it?
Magazines, right? I mean, copy down the 800 numbers
and call these folks, and place an ad.
Hell, get on the front page somehow. Aw, we need
somethin` to photograph, don`t we. Gotta build
somethin` first.
Somebody start a phone tree. Call these guys gettin`
all these magazines and tell `em to look at the front
cover (when we get on it). Get `em curious.
Now, am I in the corral with ya, or did I just step
in a cow pie?
(E(:
Hell, Mac oughta hire *YOU* to do the marketing.
(E(:
That's right, swim (E(:
Location, location, location---right in front o` the
eyes o` those folks in all those little ol` towns all
across America, who have all that tax money to spend.
And Mexico.
And Honduras.
And Columbia.
And Bolivia.
And Brazil.
And Argentina.
And wherever else the blazes these guys are doin`
business.
Seems like they`re all over the map, don`t it....
Hey, now there's why they`ve got these little
$2.5 M plants for sale. Pesos ain`t worth much.
(E(:
Okay, newinmarket, ya lost me (E(:
at the bakery.
Kinda figures ol` Carol Burnett would git into it.
(E(:
It's like this, newinmarket (E(:
There's more small towns than big cities.
Big cities have big budgets, little towns have
little budgets.
Ol` Mac`s aimed for the small budget folks.
You'll notice he mentioned municipalities in
particular. They ain`t got the same trouble
raisin` revenue as a commercial developer.
Ain`t nobody said "No" to the Tax Man, except
Ed & Elaine Brown. Ain`t heard from them lately,
if you catch my drift.
The Tax Man always pulls up the funds. Cities
don't have to borrow from the bank. Just have
a bond issue, or raise taxes.
All that's left is the sell.
How`s that new marketing firm doin`? Who was it,
again? I forgot. Aw, hell, *that* ain`t good, now
is it....
(E(:
It`s like what they say in real estate---
EXPOSURE, EXPOSURE, EXPOSURE
(E(:
Hell, you just gave me an idea (E(:
Pigs make methane. That means methanol.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn`t Mobil have a
process to make gasoline (80 percent or better, I
think) straight outa methanol somehow? Some kinda
catalyst or somethin`?
Who's got the scoop on that? (No pun intended.)
Docrew0? Somebody? Who knows about this stuff?
W2 was lookin` at butanol (did I spell that right?),
but what about methanol?
Are we lookin` at another potential market here?
Good goin`, Mciws1130. I think you hit on somethin`.
(E(:
Swim, here`s some advice (E(:
1. Don`t ever put all your eggs in one basket.
You end up like swim. Aw, hell, you ARE swim.
2. Don`t bite off more than you can chew.
Learn to nibble. Buy a FEW shares for dirt,
and turn `em around for a profit. Either that,
or you'll end up like swim. Aw, hell, I forgot
agin. You ARE swim.
3. A price drop FROM A LOW is a sure buy signal.
ANY price increase is a sell signal. Learn to read
the signals. Or you'll end up like swim. Aw, doggone
it, I forgot agin. You ARE swim.
Now QUIT ACTIN' LIKE SWIM. That ol` boy don`t know
NUTHIN` about investin`.
Instead, LEARN to swim.
Oh, change your handle, for godsakes.
You`re gittin` me confused.
(E(:
Here's the deal, newinmarket (E(:
Nobody called it a game based on that size o` plant.
It`s McLaren`s way of tryin` to get SOMEBODY to bite
on a purchase to get the ball rollin` here.
Ain`t no cashflow as of yet. Remember that news item
from November?
Sure a little ol` $2.5 M plant ain`t nuthin`.
But SOMETHIN` beats nuthin` in the bank anytime.
Am I right?
If all the plant does is feed the trash pickup boys
so they don't have to buy their fuel anymore, then
they`ve gained ground. Ya follow me?
And the landfill(s) ain`t growin` as fast.
And once a city has ONE plant like this in, and can
see it work, they'll want ANOTHER one.
Gotta get `em hooked first.
That`s where the game`s at right now.
What happened to ever`body wantin` a "pilot demonstration
plant?"
Well, ol` Mac`s tryin` to get one built by offerin`
somethin` for the low-budget folks.
And you can bet TAX REVENUES are down just like the
stock market is, so city budget guys are pinchin` them
pennies like crazy.
So I think a $2.5 M plant makes a lot of sense for
a lot of folks.
But it ain`t the whole game.
I see your point.
Do you see mine?
(E(:
Swim, you`ve missed out on TWO upticks (E(:
in the last thirty days, and three in the last
forty five days.
Now I`m just fresh outa sympathy.
Learn to make money, boy.
Buy low. Sell high. Get it right, will ya.
Now COWBOY UP.
(E(:
Waste collection is a major expense (E(:
to most municipalities. The trucks run on diesel.
The waste itself can be made into diesel to run the
trucks that pick it all up in the first place. And
you get electricity for the city on top of it.
There`s your market.
Told ya ol` Mac knows what he`s doin`.
(E(:
Lessee here...a little bourbon an` BullsEye....
An` some Texas spices...a little Montreal seasoning....
Hmmmmmm, good....
(E(:
$2.5 M ain`t bad for the average city (E(:
They pay more than that for traffic cameras.
I think ol` Mac`s already on the right track.
And you get your electricity to boot.
(E(:
What this company needs is BUYERS.
The goods are for sale.
Who`s handlin` the billboards?
(E(:
Now let me get this straight (E(:
You're sayin` they could, maybe, leave off the
electricity generation and save money on new
plants?
So what about the waste heat?
There's your front end pollution.
But, sure enough, you get a cheaper plant.
And we get cheap biodiesel or whatever.
And it's a little warmer to boot.
You an` me are happy, but somebody with a "T"
in his handle is gonna pitch a hissy fit.
And he`s right, we need the electricity.
(E(:
How cheap can ya build a plant, anyway?
(E(:
Here's what we do (E(:
1. Start a buying binge.
2. PPS starts goin` up.
3. Pundits start talkin` about W2, and how it`s
goin` up while ever`body else is goin` down.
4. We get news coverage clear into next week.
Hell, we might even overtake ol` GM!
`Scuze me...steaks need turnin`....
(E(:
I believe I just said that (E(:
I just wasn`t as verbose about it.
(E(:
GRAB SOME SHARES.
CATCH IT ON THE NEXT UPTICK.
MAKE SOME MONEY, COWBOYS.
(E(:
It`s The End Of The World (E(:
As We Know It.
And I feel fine.
Now---back to the barbeque.
Ain`t nuthin` like a Texas Sirloin chasin`
a New York Strip to hit the spot.
Cookin` inside on the gas grill today.
Cold outside.
(Must be "global warming"....)
(E(:
WTWO @ .0085
Grab some shares and catch it on the next uptick.
Make some money, cowboys.
(E(:
Buy low, sell high.
How many times I gotta say it?
(E(:
GM`s almost as low as ol` W2 (E(:
LET'S BUY IN!
Ain't nobody givin` W2 no $25 BILLION!
(E(:
Hmph.
Come to think of it...why not?
Kinda makes ya wonder, doesn`t it....
(E(:
Your article ain't nuthin` (E(:
but a bunch o` gratuitous assertions.
Load o` bull. Plain an` simple.
(E(:
Any which way it works (E(:
W2 is gonna OWN this market.
Ain`t no doubt about it.
Just waitin` it out.
GM gets any lower, they`re gonna match ol` W2.
(E(:
Here`s some more, Tesla (E(:
http://www.petitionproject.org/
And take a good look at THIS:
http://www.petitionproject.org/gwdatabase/Article_HTML/Slide03.png
So much for "manmade global warming"...hmph. Load o` bull
if y`ask me.
I ain`t never believed NONE of it.
There`s too much *MONEY* involved, catch my drift?
Al Gore's been doin` more sneakin` around than a hungry
Texas rattlesnake lookin` for a gopher.
(E(:
Hey Tesla -- Read THIS (E(:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2008/11/16/do1610.xml
The Arctic ice cap is GROWING, not shrinking.
Same in Antarctica.
(E(:
They got TEXAS SIZE ice up there!
Ever seen a penguin in a ten gallon hat?
(E(:
What`s 'funny' is this (E(:
There's plenty of folks here with the muscle to
run this puppy, and get the price well over any
.05 or .07.
Thing is, there's funny business goin` on with
the MM`s. Bid-up orders not gettin` filled.
Junk like that.
Stock goin` in circles for dirt.
Somebody`s got to find a way to bust heads on
them MM`s and make `em fill orders when the bid
goes up.
Ain`t no use otherwise.
How many times we seen this mess already?
Say, somebody bids for 100,000 shares at .05, and nobody
sells? With the PPS at .005?? Ain`t no weak hands left at all?
Now tell me that ain`t some kinda funny business goin` on.
Or did ever`body buy in over that price?
Oh...ever`body got smart all of a sudden...
(E(:
You hang tough, swim (E(:
Good times are just around the corner.
Look what's happenin` right now.
The MMs can`t keep the lid on it forever.
(E(:
W2 is gonna OWN this market.
Like I keep sayin`, McLaren ain`t stupid.
That's why I`m still in after the beatin` I took.
That ol` boy can flat pull a rabbit out of a hat.
And we`re talkin` a TEXAS JACKRABBIT!
(E(:
Bottoms are local, swim (E(:
You just have to look out for the "stair step" effect.
(Goin` down from a local bottom, instead of up, to
another local bottom.)
Watch the charts, again, like I said. And watch the
charts for the blue chips that pertain to this
industry.
What happens to them, happens here.
At a low THIS low, uptrend is more likely.
Like I said, you just missed an uptick. You could
have made money on even a small buy-in at the last
local bottom. Little things add up. Do the math.
Gotta watch them li`l squiggly lines, swim.
I'm not a day trader, I'm as long as anybody here,
been in a lot longer than I've been on this board,
lost more than any ten o` these guys put together.
Hell, I've lost more than some of `em are worth.
I ain't lost the ranch yet, and ain`t gonna. I've
got cards I ain`t showin`.
And I've got the patience of a Texas buzzard.
You need to get with some o` these fellers who are
good at readin` squiggles.
Tradervic88 is a good one. DDdollars is another.
They`re as good squiggle readers as any I've seen.
And don't forget to watch the news. Keep up with
Wall Street Week and junk like that. Read the clues.
Get WSJ or one of the other publications. Read `em.
As for me, I'm waitin` for the big stuff to happen.
I'll be here till it does, too.
(E(:
And that`s in progress, masontrend (E(:
Uptrend is inevitable.
It's all timing.
(E(:
Well, swim, it`s like this (E(:
You just missed *one* opportunity to make a profit
*if* you had bought at .005, and you could have sold
at .012 for a tidy .007 profit, for however many
shares.
Trouble is, you`ve bought in higher than current
PPS, right?
To make money on this stock at this point, you
have to be willing to buy in *even more* at the
bottom, so you can sell at the next uptick. You
have to be willing *and able* to buy in at the
bottom, plus you have to know for sure where the
bottom is.
NOW you know what the charts are good for.
But with the market like it is, you have to watch
charts for multiple companies, including some of
the (related) blue chips, to get the signals right.
You just need to work on your timing.
You'll get it right eventually.
"He who hesitates is broke."
(E(:
You didn't bet the ranch, did ya?
(E(:
Somebody made a profit on the uptick (E(:
Buy low, sell high.
Simple.
(E(:
Let it bottom.
Snap it up.
"Share some shares."
Make a profit.
Name o` the game.
And of course, go long on the balance.
(E(:
Now be nice to W2 (E(:
The stock price inched up.
Somebody's jumped into the stock.
We got news, and it ain`t bad news.
Things are slow, not stopped.
Be happy, doggone it.
`Nuff said.
(E(:
Hell, THINK POSITIVE.
(E(:
Hell, let`s all buy new Mustangs! (E(:
You can practically buy Ford for a song! (E(:
I hear GM is a real bargain! (E(:
Right, BFT, that`s been the pattern (E(:
Either some new deals have been signed,
or it's time for the BB.
What else would be news at this point?
(E(:
Okay everyone, let`s review (E(:
1. Buy LOW.
2. Sell HIGH.
Not the other way around.
This works MUCH better.
(E(:
Try another broker. (E(:
Either that, or call the SEC and complain.
(E(:
Failing that, make it 46,000 at 0.02.
Hell, put an ad in the paper under "Wanted To Buy."
(E(:
Ain`t a peep out of `em yet, swim. (E(:
We`ll all know when the Mac says so.
(E(:
So, emd59, that means you can buy in (E(:
back to your old position for a meager $1,662.50,
if I did the math right.
Talk's cheap.
`Nuff said.
(E(:
Well not at THESE prices! (E(:
Ain`t nobody goin` under, Tesla_se (E(:
These tough ol` boys have ridden out MUCH worse
than what you`re seein` here.
Ever`body hang tough.
That includes you, swim. Hang in there.
(E(:
The W2 Energy theme song (E(:
I wonder what "rear" means in German? (E(:
For that matter, how about "staxbax"...?
(E(:
