If it is truly just 40% of what Botox brings per CD patient then adoption will be much faster than 50% by EOY '25.
i guess I'll have to read it... the share price just dived in the premarket
How long is it going to take to start seeing royalties from sales in China? I understand Daxxi is not yet approved there. Say it gets approved in 6 months (that would be about 1.5 years since submission, which is about median time for NMPA to approve). Any thoughts? Also what's your best guess on how much the approval milestone payment is going to be? Thanks.
As to why no one of them bothered to update their own website, i guess that will remain a mystery
Just a quick update on this. Out of 11 practices i called, from 9 i got a confirmation that they do offer Daxify. The other 2, there was no one to talk to so i left a voice mail. So far my impression is that the locator tool is very accurate.
took a random sample of 55 providers from the list generated by the tool (btw it includes hawaii and puerto rico too).
I went to each provider's website, 29 out 55 do not have any reference to Daxxify on their website. I will start calling those 29 starting tomorrow to inquire if they offer daxxify treatments as I have the phone numbers ready (and I have been summoned for a jury service anyways so nothing better to do anyways). Hopefully no false positives, in case there are, I'll ask on the spot if they offered daxxi at any point in the past.
I made a spreadsheet because ... why not! Currently only two data points one from 5 days ago and one from today.
Daxxi Practice Locator Counts Over Time
The number is now up to 1635 including Hawaii. I wonder if results from this tool can be used as a reasonable approximation for speed of adoption.
yep, there's a big difference ... few weeks ago I found only 1 near me, now there is 5

>>Have you seen the AbbVie Rinvoq or Skyrizi tv commercials. AbbVie knows the PATIENT IS THE CUSTOMER...j
I have a very controversial view on this. The target is neither the doctor nor the costumer. But instead, big pharma has a vested interest in keeping media under total control, as a typical TV station gets majority of its ad revenues from such advertising. When one of these drugs turns out to be deadly, you won't hear about it on the news !
The strategy is to incentivize injectors to offer daxxi... i am fine with letting injectors mark up if they can still get the customer to try daxxi.
sure did sound like that
EOLS was down 5% too, so today's selloff was sub-sector specific.
Over the years, I've come across the phrase "weak hands" that retail day traders would often use. I dismissed the term in derision, as if I was somehow better then them at understanding the market microstructure. Since than I came to realize that they intuitively understood that there are forces out there that can make the markets move and make other, less sophisticated, traders force sell parts or entire positions. People close to margin calls are selling now. It will turn around when that tranche of selling is over.
You mean that troll who was posting $3 then $300 could be right? That would be so hilarious!
Joking aside, I know it is ugly but that's the way biotech investing works. Now the things are totally schizo so the point is to survive and be there when it gets schizo again but on the opposite side of the chart. Good luck to all, shorts too!
looks like today could be the day when things turn around... fingers crossed !
<< Russell hold less than 40k shares.. I bet many here own more than.
You bet right. 78K shares here. May become 100K if we go sub $5. Pretty amazing to think that a company that just guided $280mm annual revenue may be trading at 400mm market cap soon.
Thanks @CT1922, much appreciated
Did exactly that. Was not able to find one in my immediate vicinity (Sunny Isles Beach, FL). There is a provider in Hallandale beach which is not very far, but I thought I'd look for something over here. because it is really "shallow people" capital of the world over here. I contacted few NT providers and asked them if they knew anyone offering Daxxi in Sunny Isles.
How accurate is practice locator? I see only about 11 providers in quite a large area that covers entire Miami Dade and a part of Broward county.
Thanks Ed, much appreciated.
i don't mind when people criticize RVNC/daxxi. It would be worrisome if everyone was bullish. The best money is made when sentiment is dire, so let them bring it.
Anyone here from south Florida / Miami area? What's the best way to find a good daxxi injector? My wife did botox (just) couple of times already and she liked the results. I want her to try Daxxi too.
actually it is a slight decrease compared to last january
that's right .. the link is here. I believe this is an increase in position
A decent number of red ones here !
just a quick note on chat gpt .... it is not a reliable source of facts and should not be used as such. It is a great tool for generating text, and it can be very good at that, but it does not attempt to "remember" facts from its training data reliably. You can almost think of it as a lossy compression engine. It is trained on a sizable amount of internet data, and what is stored as its "model" are neural network weights that you can think of as compressed version of the training data. When generating output chat gpt may just substitute what it doesn't "know" with something that sounds reasonable but is in fact not true (i.e. does not exist in training data).
wake me up at $60
wow that's pretty nuts just saying something like that while being pregnant at the same time... getting a strong sense of neuromodulator addiction from that woman
i like to keep it simple ... long equity, unleveraged, Pretty massive position for me, but since it is all unleveraged, don't mind these dips that much. It will be interesting if share price goes below $5. Many brokers change margin requirements for stocks below $5 so that could potentially force some liquidations.
methinx Foley eventually delivers like he did for ZLTQ. Sure, the launch could have been better and perhaps the strategy should have been different especially regarding the transparency on pricing / more competitive pricing as well as more intense DTC marketing as someone on the board mentioned. But it is easy to be a monday morning quarterback. I've been in this biotech "investing" business for about 12 years now, and equity investing in general, for about 20 years. I know the pain, but it too will pass. Sounds like a cliche but it is so true: stay unleveraged, the point is to survive. RVNC is on a way to become profitable business, investor returns will follow
Were there any occurrences where large cap bought shares of a smaller (biotech/healthcare) company that it eventually ended up acquiring? I'm not talking about partnership deals with equity investments, but rather open market purchases where end goal is an acquisition.
could be a nice bolt-on... although if rumors were indeed circulating RVNC wouldn't be trading where it is trading right now.
IMO a simple DTC message akin to "the only toxin free of human serum albumin and animal-based components" would do wonders
@alertmeipp that's one big stick you're holding
don't want to ruin your party but I've been adding yesterday and plan to buy more today, if it does indeed go lower ... given my track record in timing the market (that I only know too well), it is not a good sign for your big swing :)
The company is saying "Positive Adjusted EBITDA in 2025". They are not specifying when in 2025 they expect to be profitable. It could be Q4 for all we know.
So Dustin has been fired.
