Dumpy... clever and cute...
Did the world famous painter say I'm return.. " Great, thats all you got? Holy Father. You have been bugging me for years while I'm lying on my back up here on this rickety scaffolding... Great??? This is beyond amazing, magnificent. Would shaking. "
Setting aside humility, I thought that I am a pretty smart guy.. advanced degrees.. save ( for the most part) long term investor... but here we are.. $1.30..a market cap around $110 million..a micro cap.. stock.
Yet, the science based on yesterday 11 patient safety report.. looks GOLDEN.
How is it that MRKR isn't at a 1+ billion MC.. look at the CR's.. amazing.. prolonging life in one case nearly 6 years..
On TV ads.. a duo combo cancer treatment touts an average life gain of 4-5 months..
I understand the wants for extended life. I hope we all do... But, look at the Hemo and solid tumor Tx pipeline at MRKR..
I DON'T GET IT.. NONE of us are getting it ( as in value growth), so..any of you, feel free to opine... and yes, I am down 68% and a few if you know that I hold a lot if shares certain to be in top 5 of retail investors... thanks for reading..
PL..I tend to agree with you, the proposed trials, and much of your timing..
As with extreme prejudice, I would enjoy hearing future MC and SP possibilities..
Anyone?
How Yahoo finance lists the Q3 earnings call for yesterday, November 8, I do not know. But...if it was accurate, once again Peter and related 'nobs' have again failed to present. My guess is that when Q3 is submitted ( not a complicated company ) other than the numbers...the M,D&A will be once again skimpy. Putting the science process aside, why can't the leadership act and update like so many others do?
Monday is the Q3 reporting date.
It would be welcomed that even though a loss will be reported, that the cash runway is sufficient onto late 2022. Moreover, what would be well received after 9 weeks of silence, would be a detailed presentation of each item in the pipeline.. meaning the progress being made, a sense of the research and clinical future results.
If done, perhaps the long time absent posters might return and offer up thoughts.
However, if the company means of reporting is again lackluster, all of us realize that the share price will again fall.
These many months below $5 has been painful and weary. Glta.
We all agree...many of us are above $6/ share.. if we looked at the listed 83 million shares, at $6 we are a micro one half billion MC.. we ought to be at that kev and yes, waiting would be much easier to take.. wishes are worthless... senior management make it happen.
Friday greetings to all and angry at the poorthanks to PL.
We all know or ought to know that bios take years of research and clinical results and if successful, most will profit handsomely.
My guess is that long term shareholders like myself are more than jaded with the TPIV abandonment other that that at Mayo.
Many of us have been for years, many years disappointed at the poor communication and transparancy.
Many of us are at the end of our mind/ hope with AML .
Many of us are deep underwater and " fluff" of cheer leaders add to the anger.
Am I right in any of the above???
Yet... because Marker has leased space ( a good action).... has completed a control manufacturing pod.... has received a cancer grant($13.1 M) .... suggests developing results between future 4 and 7 months, and because this board is less caustic and more data driven.... well then...
I suggest..keep asking questions to senior management... be gracious to posters
.( PL.. kinda of a light apology to you)
I have not sold a share, if that matters and I own a boat load as a few of you know.
Never end with GLTA..but to the Co.... get to work and bring this home successfully..
True, hope for significant results before other bios.. just as we were led to hope for the TPIV multi lines now dropped at what dollar investment loss.. do you know how much?
Today a close at $2.08.. down again, even after the 2000 full year results, the Robotics conference, and the quarter 1.
Face it.. few are buying into it.. more are exiting... not believing in the future. Bungled or life in bios?
We are closer to $1.00 rather than to a listing minimum of $5.00.
Now, we pause for the loyalist responses.
So many silly prop up posts...
Other than 25 cars produced in two years and used for demonstrations.... there is no investment future without car inventory. They needed 5,000 units to be produced and delivered in 2000.
Management is not honest, will not be transparent, and only burns cash.
Let's quit the dancing and look at the facts.
This all seems so intriguing... who of you can shine more light on this development?
Wouldn't it be awesome, if a success beginning is coming??
Legal vs ethical...
I also do not think there is a legal issue with Marker, although I can name 5 securities litigation firms. With any of them, who knows the future?
But regarding ethical... this company does not communicate like so many other bios. It has not been transparent and yet there is nothing anyone can do about it.
But, one might look at ethical behavior posts over at Yahoo..
Caution thrown to the wind: never try to catch a falling knife.. masked as " I intend to average down." Yea right... just pushing the dumb to buy.
Or, ' this company is on the verge of greatness.... but no data given, because there is none.
Or, the new lab will be generating big profits. In truth, it is necessary to produce safe and reliable materials for clinical trials.
Or, the CSO quoting is the kiss of death.. hardly...
Honestly.... I no longer have a real clue and Sherlock is not to be seen.
A simple financial question to banter about..
All new cases of leukemia are about 60,000 US. Deaths are @ 38%.
Re: AML. about 19,000 new annual cases with a 5 year survival rate of 24%.
Indeed, there is a great need for a successful treatment for all leukemia cases.
What might be the TX penetration rate.. 50-60%...
How much would be the TX cost ( I for one hope not less than $10,000..).
What would be the profit margin rate?
Certainly, no taxes for 2 years ( net loss carry forward as off set)?
What would be the EPS with 100+ million shares..?
What P/E would be applied to EPS?
Ok. Pencil pushers, go at it.
P L.... I am very impressed with the quality and calmness of posters questions and your well grounded and expansive responses... I am very sincere here.. now, just think what our investing life would be like if on occasion, the company issued informative communications like yours.. my compliments.
PL... I agree with your response completely and offer my thanks..
In humor, we will spare again on the future...
I don't like the Exec. options award process... we get diluted with more shares, we lose with every reverse split and follow on price decline. They just award themselves more shares... without specific measurable goals, while Baylor and Mayo do the work... just saying.. they never feel the investment loss pain.
You are correct.
OT... I never intend to personally insult PL or others. But... in defense of my position, I add the following..
Do DD? What has been available on the past 2 years? Compared to transparent and communicative companies.. ZIPPO!!
I am not a philanthropist, maybe certain posters sent checks to the company.
In fact, every share we buy is from someone who has said: " Enough of this crap."
ALL TPIV CarT and $32 million is gone and one BoD member was the prime proponent.
DD, only MAYO is working on it.. and how much have they released in the past?
Maybe, a daily look at trading volumes in recent days shows the belief and promise. Ahhh... NO. millions of shares dumped because of management failure to report.
The only hope any have is in the AML trials. I saw the New,Brighton, Mn. Company, pre merger, a " shoe string" needing a ATM..
Well... just maybe, PL can get info from PH... that is what many of you " hope for".... but ultimately, it is hot air passing over vocal chords.
Just my honest, humble, and charitable personal opinion... now... back to the defensive berating.. cheers..
I did just that a few minutes later.
So... you're back? Good for you. Honestly.
Maybe you will cite the value of a share bought two years ago to today while you blindly gave loyalist comments for the company.
Maybe, with a possible " CV 19" herd immunity by the time of the annual meeting, this year it might be " in person " and we might meet in Houston and ask them real questions about TPIV trials.
Anyway, and seriously, nice of you to pop in.. feel free to take a seat.
Learning.... I agree...and have stated so for years on years...
I want the names of the Board of Directors.
I want disclosure and transparancy.
I really want to know that this management team is honest and trustworthy.
Buck.... I hold the Board of Directors responsible and the CFO.who is charged by law as the greater fiduciary. The BOD should be sued for several failures..
P.H. got board approval and the CFO was the main negotiator... most of management has failed... but have festered their best and will continue to do so.
We need to see management goals and measurement of success or failure in each. Why won't we see it? Shareholders don't complain in writing..or calling..
I see that this board has a new batch of posters... the 2012-2916 group took their losses.. or would have an average of ~$7.00 today... the 2018- 2020 group have mostly given up and their average might have been $5.00
I'm guessing that the new posters have a low per share price... and as a result this additional dilution below $2.00 means little.
My stance is... if the company has positive news ( it does not) it would seek to raise share price at or above $5.00.
... So.... self interest prevails...
MARKER has a poor reputation... TPIV simply disappeared... yet several were in phase 11... makes you wonder where all the patents, research went after $ 32 million was spent..
Like previous years investors, I have no confidence in the company,,, and.. on truth, we know little of the science, but have a lot of generous opinions.
Today is Sunday, 3 days until FYE reporting and earnings call, on Wednesday.
What do you want to hear in the presentation?
What do you think will be in the presentation?
Will the above dovetail or be distanced?
Will you be listening in?
If yes, will you comment on this board?
Shares... I had 91,000 into Jan.2021 and sold 20,000. Today bought 4,000 @ $2.14 totaling 75,000.. why?
The production lab now finished must have some economic purpose as well as the many new hires.
Next Friday, the Year End 2020 reporting and Q&A.. last year, they would not let me ask 2 important questions.. this year..that had better happen.. all here should listen in.
AML phase 11... important beginning
The Baylor abstract needs to be honest and great.
There always is the possibility of a partner, a buy out.
The current MC is crazy..
Then as always... if the share price doesn't soon rise above the $5.00 requirement... then loads of trouble.
Share price increase 65/35 ratio.
There are certain fiduciary items to be aware of, in my opinion.
Reg. FD ( full disclosure ) requires that a company report ALL significant events..
Key employee departures.
Realistic offers to merge or to be bought.
Shareholder voting.
And other...
Personally, I think P.H. cares little about investor owners... other than for dilution in raising more millions... The key exec's certainly have rewarded themselves in February.
I await the FYE reporting in 13 days..
This is the kind of company you want to stay away from because of management. Most every one has complained about the years of non disclosure, PR's, and being effective.
If I could get somewhat closer to my break even point, after these past 4 years, I would get out and never look back.
Share price keeps dropping likely once again because of no updates...
Clinical updates
New Lab utilization
Gov't applications: Orphan status, fast track status.
Cash flow burn rate..
Anything...
Without it, SP decline..
Year end results must be released before March 31..and how difficult is that.for a micro company to compile and release before the end of Feb.?
If they have promising results in any area, let the owners and public know...
MARKER' CEO,P.H. the B of D... Baylor researchers, mayo researchers, and a few supporting hospitals and clinics hold the data, the possible results, and control any and all releases.
I await the year end financials and particularly the M D & A section.
Just guessing but what has emerged as a possibility might suggest another application for " Fast track " and "Orphan drug status as was granted under TPIV.
Additionally, I would appreciate a narrative on how many different cancers this drug might have applications.
The trading community certainly has developed an interest.. I am confident that with information such as we anticipate, my $7.88 break even will be surpassed nearly 5 times over..
What thoughts in these areas have you?
PH.. no need to be profane... you have been treated as a "god" only because posters believe you have an inside line with management.... turns out you don't. You knock down any and all dissenters.
Don't let the door hit you on your backside.
No one can influence the share price... management doesn't care about the owners.
I await Peter choosing to jump a "sinking ship"... and I have more MRKR shares than anyone on this board..and yes, absolutely, if they had something, they would release news on it... including the Mayo progress... NO EXCUSES, thank you.
PH.. you should re read your posting.
Essentially you are saying they have nothing.... you change ' many' to "everyone"...
If the science was believed by institutions and retail... do you honestly believe the price would be ~$2.50?
Lastly, the many questions I could ask would never be responded to.. the company never responds to my e- mails...
Get serious... take a wider view.
Aside from loyalist posts, only a very few of us recall the former 2 or 3 posters who years ago, so enthused with TPIV clinicals that they valued the company at $7+ billion... remember?
Now at $72 million market cap.. a big time 1%...
I won't in 2021, but lets face it, for months ( years) now there has been selling day after day.. people getting out , like the Baker brothers... why? The company refuses to act like a public company with transparancy and communications. No excuses for this if you can be honest. Many now do not trust the science or actions.... and there is nothing one can do. Reject the quips like,,, " If you are unhappy.. sell..." What cheap nonsense that is.
PotAto... potahto.. $350 million of accumulated losses with nothing to put on ones investment plate. FACT.
My intent was... TPIV 200 is not dead.
I, for one, consider that good news. There was no mention of prior c/ trials on the 3rd qtr filing.
Was it you who inferred that TPIV 100, 110, 200, and polystart were essentially " dead?"
I'm pleased that BC TPIV200 continues and AML and Pancreatic trials go forward with hopeful results..
This month. A close friend died from PC.
My S.in L. has AML so thus is why I remain so hopeful for success.
Whether 280 are enrolled or at capacity, in my opinion is secondary to this being ph2 and reporting in 2021 rather than this TVIP clinical study having been flushed along with $ 34 million of investors money .... Hope springs anew. Added to MRKR's ph2 work.
If only the company would Press release progress taking place in any and all areas, the share price would be far above where we are at.... below the concrete of the sub basement. Management has never grasped the meaning of being a public company owned by investors.
Anyone of you out there have an opinion or understanding of the following:
DEC.17.. NCT 03012100
TPIV 200 PH2..with 280 patients e rolled @ Unova Fairfax hospital...
Completion date July 2021..
??????..
I understood that, but compare the public attention and price.
No comments on Fate FT596 p/1??
Now a S/P at $94, no comparative thoughts with MRKR's work?
Look at the two market caps..
..and we see FATE $83 +$23.. on a phase 1 reporting.... what do we have??
To the God's of Share Price Increases ,,, be good to us... take us above $8.00..we beg.
No news out, as always, but we do expect updates on the Houston manufacturing facility... at least by the end of January and an AML update.
Wouldn't it be great and well received if we were updated before the current fiscal year end, 12/31 ?
Did MRKR meet with Oppenheimer and they issued a $8.00 price target?
Approaching 2020 year end and guessing tax loss selling is done and current share price is $1.53.. two thoughtful questions seeking honest and thoughtful objective( no wishes) responses.
What events do you anticipate in 2021.. press releases, clinical outcomes, leased space utilization and production, partnering, Dod / other grants?
What do you think an in year share price will be..( high/ low)?
My next concern after the company is silent on all TPIV Clinical lines and is vague on AML in 2021, and no clear picture of revenues... the question now is... at this $1.41... is the company going to go bankrupt, or in my case a third reverse split adding share dilution...
Go ahead, let's have the learned opinions.
I do agree... the details are in the lease.. sometimes a buildout ex equipment is within the lease.. IMO.. as long as they ramp up to full utilization of site and attach revenue generation, I am comfortable... As said before IF they have the real and honest " goods" regarding AML.. the world could be happy.
But.... tell us.. update us.. P.H. you owe it to us... and you would deeply know this if I were on the Board.
The 3rd qtr conference call citing promising results for orphan drug MT 401 treating the deadly AML disease ( which would be great to those patients) was met with a lower share price this morning. Why?
Past history of failure to produce treatment for (the cancelled) TPIV 200 Ovarian cancer and no update on the TPIV 200 breast cancer treatment ( read Peter H.comments at Q3,1919, Nov.19).. and a cumulative loss if $347 million.. and two years of no updates?
Or, as there are less than 2000 new AML cases each year, the company has not released how much it would have to charge or patient treatment at a 50% penetration rate. Yes, this is important to institutional and retail investors.
Would it be something like 1,000 pts x $100,000, less 30% charity write off?
I try to ask honest questions and not " sing a company song."
Peter has a lot to learn about public relations and share price. I now know the silence if past two years.. they had nkthing.. and what were all those conferences for? But, honestly, if AML and breast cancer could be cured or life pringrd.. that would be worth investing in... make me a believer or enable me to do so. Please... and PH, thoughts?
...and $340 million went down a rat hole.
When did they know it.. and was that an impetus to acquire New Brighton dinky office holding Marker?
Mayo is DoD $10 million grant, correct?
Lastly, all I have ever wanted was timely transparency.... do as to make best decision with my hard earned capital.
So.... is this AML for real or a other dance?
Your thoughtful opinion is welcomed, while considering mine thank you.
