I know my votes are useless. The PiG and his cronies have that covered. And yes I am pissed that the 5 bagger we should have had was very very likely stolen by the PiG. Perhaps you are young and have another ten years to waste while he "goes it alone". I don't. Those unrealized profits the last couple of years could have been put to good use. Happy that you and others here are content with the status quo; must be nice to be so rich that watching the sp here stagnate is meaningless.
By the time we get a buyout in the 30's by "gia" it will probably be worth the same as selling it now in the 20's except that the money wouldn't be tied up in a company going nowhere under the current management. If the PiG was honest he would just tell us he is isn't selling because he isn't satisfied with the insane amount of free shares he's already pilfered and wants more. Of course the PiG will never be satisfied and at some point will have to be forced to sell. Where's Denner when we need him.
You're right. Auph isn't unprofitable for me except during that period of time my other stocks have done better. In some instances much better. My profit here should have been much higher but the PiG made sure that he stole those profits from all of the longs here. I'm not underwater as I am averaged in under 5 but over 6 years I could have doubled my money with a lot less aggravation and much less risk elsewhere. I didn't compare PiG to Hitler....just said the apologists here would have made excuses for him also. Stockholm syndrome Jess....look it up.
E,f,g are all the same: because we have a major asshole running the company.
Actually I invested in Auph right after the sp was taken down because it was mistakenly assumed that Voclosporin caused the deaths that were due to other factors in the trial back in '16 or '17, can't remember exactly when. I knew it was a great drug then. It still is. The only problem is that we have a self serving asshole running the company. He needs to go. I can't believe the apologists on this board. If Adolf Hitler was around running things I'm sure there would be excuses made for his behavior too.
Can't believe I am saying this but I agree 100%
Every other stock I own has done better than Auph over the last 6 years I've owned Aurinia. Voclosporin is a fantastic drug which is why I am so pissed off that the PG has absolutely dropped the ball and not fulfilled his sole purpose for being appointed the ceo. All he's done has been to fill his pockets while totally disregarding the shareholders who supported the company and took the risks even before the drug was approved. I will never suffer from Stockholm syndrome like some here. At some point enough is enough and we are way beyond that point. This management team has held this company back long enough. Vote no even though it probably won't matter as the PG probably has that covered. The only question is when he will ever be satisfied enough with his number of free shares to sell the company and will we still be around to see that day.
Did you really think that very minimally better numbers for one quarter were going to change years of incredibly crappy performance by management? If so I have a bridge I want to sell you in Brooklyn.
Not at all surprised. PG sucks. Right Jess?
We will be lucky to hold 12 by end of day. PG needs to go asap!
Great numbers as expected. Just happened to be right before the vote. PG wins again and the peasants make a couple of bucks at least for a few days!
The only reason to stay is the prospect of a buyout. That's what the PiG was assigned to do and he has failed miserably while making himself rich at our expense. And no one will convince me that he didn't turn down a good offer as he had a plan to enrich himself before selling which has worked out perfectly for him but really screwed all of us.
I think you're speculating with rose colored spectacles.
The time frame? When hell freezes over or when pigs fly. (Not counting PiGs flights)
No the miracle would be 48 or even 30 for that matter.
Now that would be a miracle.
As you said, "maybe they are getting their friends to do so on the down low". You can rest assured that PG and the rest of the gang of thieves have plenty of deep pocketed contacts who are capable of manipulating the sp in times of crisis. You can also rest assured that once the gang of thieves wins the vote the sp will go back to its usual dreary performance. You can take that to the bank. Nice to be able to at least take something to the bank with this stock although it would be nicer if it was actually money. Maybe one day if we live long enough.
OK, so it's just a "coincidence " that the sp is doing well and not following the downward trajectory of the xbi ( as it generally does) just before the critical vote? I don't believe in coincidences; but each to his own, it is still somewhat a free country.
They're running up the sp in an attempt to save their sorry asses. Hopefully the no votes see through that bs.
Once again (and again and again) the xbi is up and Auph is down. Great drug, piss poor management. Hope you all voted NO.
Just voted NO on everything management wants and it felt great. I urge fellow retailers to do the same. Out with the thieving bastards!
The xbi is doing well. Most bios are up but not Auph. Ask yourself why.
Who wants to invest in a company with terrible management.
I'm sure PiG wants the share price up now that he has an obscene amount of shares. Not so sure he wanted the buyout in 21 before he had stuffed his coffers with as many free shares as he could steal. Quite sure he turned down a good offer because he wasn't satisfied being merely wealthy as most of us would be. No, he is a greedy PiG and there is no satisfying his insatiable appetite for free shares.
I have absolutely no doubt that despite the negative sentiment among almost all retail investors, the institutions will vote with management as they usually do. As to the obviousness of an offer having been made, you're right. I can't prove it but it certainly seems likely. You don't need to see a rat to know one is around. And the rat in this case just gets fatter and fatter while everyone else suffers.
If PG can get this back to 35 without a buyout that would be great and I wouldn't care how greedy he is. It will never happen though as he really only cares about making himself richer and certainly doesn't know how to run a company. The best we can hope for is a buyout which is the only job he was supposed to do and he has failed miserably at that also as he obviously turned down a good offer because he hadn't yet accumulated enough free shares at the time. Now we'll be lucky to get low 20's because of his greed. You are the only one here who supports PG.
Management, PG in particular, has taken an obscene amount of "legal perks". Far in excess compared to most other companies. Wouldn't be so bad except they have failed to market the drug except to a very small percentage of eligible patients. How can you support PG and his band of thieves? But then as I recall you always supported Berger while he lied to investors and almost took Ariad to bankruptcy.
"Peter, Peter, Peter".
Reminds me of "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha"
At this point I'd take 24. A six bagger is less than I had hoped for but that's OK, it would be worth it just to have the cash to buy better opportunities.
Yes, the expectation is that the exposure of PG's egregious behavior will lead to pressure to get the company sold. Thus the positive effect on the sp this morning.
If an offering occurs after approval and is, as you say, necessary to keep operations going, it may result in a neutral to positive effect on the sp as the potential revenue for Xphozah is enormous. Based on what we know at this point it looks pretty good for the investors here. Ultimately I think we could see mid teens within a relatively short time after approval based on the expected revenue from Xphozah which should exceed 1b at peak.
Doesn't it suck that the xbi is killing it today and Auph is down.
Obviously this is the wrong board to be talking about ARDX. However, it is a good company and those of us in it for some time have enjoyed a nice run. More to come hopefully.
On 4/6 whatshisname stated he was leaving the board. Looks like just another lie doesn't it. And now pushing ARDX on this board. Speaks volumes about his character.
Since you recently got excited about ARDX a few weeks ago it has been going straight down. Not unexpected as you have been consistently wrong about every investment you've hyped since you started on the Auph board. Do us all a favor and leave ARDX alone. It was doing quite well until you became interested but you are the kiss of death for these stocks.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out lol. Are you done with ARDX also? Or are the lucky people on that board going to "benefit"from your years of investing "expertise" as we were subjected to here for way too long?
As you are the self proclaimed "expert" on ARDX I'm sure there's nothing I could share that you don't already know. I'll leave it to you to enlighten and educate the rest of us. How fortunate we are that you happened upon this company so that we may benefit from your wisdom in the months ahead.
Those of us here for many months or longer really don't need the advice of someone new with a history of questionable integrity and poor decisions ( i.e. pushing terrible investments like KZR). You really know next to nothing about ARDX so why don't you just lurk and learn instead of trying to be an instant expert and revealing your ignorance about the company as you've started to do.
Cosa, that's his MO. Latch on to some insignificant half truth to try to instill a grain of doubt and over time repeat the same bs ad nauseum in the ridiculous hope that enough longs will sell and he can get in cheaper. He tried it with the KZR hype on the AUPH board but once KZR crapped out he lost his credibility there so now he's trying the same nonsense here. Pretty pathetic.
Now you're an expert on ARDX lol. Just like you were an expert on KZR. Unfortunately at 4.50 ARDX is no longer cheap. You are very late but you might still be able to make a few bucks on it if you're willing to risk a pullback which could happen after the great run it's had.
Now that you're so interested in Ardx, perhaps it's a good time to take profits and short it.
