No mistake....maybe just a little early. Have made money on this one the past 2 years....don't see any reason not to this year
Have to remember this is a legit roofing company to begin with...means they are working year round. I believe BRIKK spoke to one of the officers and got the impression financials would be released soon, and should pose no problems.
As I have said so many times since the 'merger', an investor is not going to tie up money here without knowing exactly what they are actually buying. Unless, or until, the company clearly defines the public entity as opposed to the private entity as far as revenues, expenses, holdings, etc. I don't believe there will actually be any price appreciation to get excited about.
At this point, there is actually nothing else to attract new money. There is nothing left that the company can announce
to generate any interest. They have already demonstrated that they are producing oil, generating revenue, and making a profit....not much left for anyone to get excited about as there was at the beginning. That is the good news. The bad news is that no one knows where it is coming from or knows which pocket it is going into.
As most of the longs on this board know, there was a time I doubted the legitimacy of the old Nord Oil....but I traded and flipped and made some nice profits anyway. I didn't have the same negative feelings about the original NorthWest. I think they may wish they had never gotten involved with Parkin, Stevens, Nord, et al....but it is in the past! If they straighten out a few things, I think it will eventually be a long term investment which will prove to be profitable to invest in.....but forget about any quick money being made in the short term.
All my opinion, of course.
MM's are not any different than bookies....they both make most of their money off the spreads. I think bookies call it 'vig'
(short for vigorish, I believe)
Just keep in mind...."bulls make money, bears make money...PIGS will NOT make money". Has proven itself to me plenty of times over the years...LOL
Maybe you ought to go buy a lottery ticket....see if the luck holds out....LOL. Would have liked to save a penny a share, but not at the risk of chasing it up for the rest of the week.
Actually, I was expecting 3 years of financials NOT including 2007.....with audited financials (of some sort) for 2007 at a later date. The PR from March 13 states that the 3 years consolidated financials were ALREADY looked at by the auditor....could not have looked at March 2007 before the quarter even ended.
I may pick some up here. I also suggest that those of you who didn't bother looking at DANS when I originally mentioned it, take another look....quite possibly a chance to make back some money!
That was me....just picked up 15K at .115. Had an order in since the open at .105 and couldn't get filled. Didn't want to watch it start slipping away on me.
Without a doubt, this is the most frustrating stock I have ever owned....LOL. Have owned legit pinkies as well as scams...have made money and lost money on each type!!!! But this one.....?????????????????
I think you have too much time on your hands, NN.....LOL
You may have said things others didn't like....but that happens to be their problem, not yours. As far as Brent...I am not sure. I assume you are asking due to the issues over at CKYS. He is eloquent, respected by many, and definitely able to get his points across. Whether or not he is sincere, I don't really want to speculate.
Let's not get carried away, STRONGUS,,<smile>
Gee Leebret, I like you too...LOL. Now both sides of the spectrum like you !!!
Is that is what passes for honest and open discourse on your board...?...LOL
I am not disputing Oriental or 'traditional' uses of herbs at all. My only point was that, as advertised, this product could not be sold in the USA.
Have to disagree REB...the FDA is only concerned about testing for the efficacy of drugs and medical devices, not dietary supplements, which is the only way this can be sold.
Have to disagree....they are touting this as a medicine to cure a disease, as well as recommending that you forego recognized medical treatment. You will NOT find any other supplement making that kind of claim no matter how many aisles you check!!!
Hi folks. Just started reading the posts on this stock, and have to put a damper on any thoughts of this product ever winding up on the shelves of a Wal-Mart in the USA....or any retail establishment in this country. This is not to say the product cannot be sold elsewhere in the world, as I have no knowledge of rules and regulations in other countries.
However, I have read as much of the literature available on the product at their website, and clearly, the claims made would not pass muster with the FTC nor the DSHEA.
Much thanx
I like that understanding better...
So in essence, buying the stock now,to take advantage of the premium, I would be exchanging a liquid asset for one that cannot be liquidated for a year? If this is the case, it would make much more sense to buy AFTER the merger on the open market. At least that way, should the stock suddenly take off, I would be able to sell and get my profits. Alot can happen in a year.........
Just started looking into this stock. After reading about the agreement and merger with ONYI, it seems to me that if USSE stock is exchanged for the new ONYI stock, the new stock will be restricted. Usually, restricted stock cannot be sold for one year. Am I seeing something about this exchange incorrectly?
EZZO....I can't comment on the financials, debt, future of the company....but I don't think you have a clue as to the products and/or the product lines of this company. It is no longer just ballet slippers and tutus...LOL.
maybe we've been discovered.....
Just curious, Rover....why the 'give me a break' comment? Was there anything in my post which was not valid?
Being the cynic that I am on this stock....the CC may be scheduled to give MR. M a chance to explain why the audited financials might be delayed...you know...language problems and regulations and all.
If you all remember, when the merger took place, the old North-West Oil group (privately held), did provide audited financials....Nord Oil was supposed to as well, but couldn't. Unless and until the company structure is clearly defined, the only traders here are going to be the gamblers.... the guys jumping into and out of boards looking for quick action.
An investor wants to know exactly what he is buying so that he can put a value on it before getting in....that is the trader you want....and somehow have to attract.
As an example, I give you DANS (Danskin- you have all heard of the company) which is also a pink, that went dark years ago. A legit company, in every Wal-Mart and Target...last reported revenues over $100 million dollars....and only 10 cents a share...because nobody looks at it. Just this past week, they recieved $70 million in a deal with Iconix. No ifs, ands, or buts....70 million bucks changed hands...and the stock moved 2 cents...LOL. The stock would legitimately support the price of a dollar a share given the share structure....go figure!!
To be completely honest and open....I have 40,000 shares....which I bought about a year ago while searching. I just let it sit....thinking that if I die before the rest of the world finds the stock, my grandchildren will someday reap the profits...LOL. Given the exposure it will now be getting having their name in the Iconix stable, maybe the grandchildren will be getting the cash, instead of the stock...LMAO.
Gotta be flippers who either made a couple of pennies a share, or others who don't see any immediate upside and just want to pull their cash out to put somewhere else....I've heard that pinks attract a lot of gamblers..LOL.
I am not in any way worried about my investment...have 40,000 shares....just expected some sort of reaction to such a positive development.
If you check the price history of DANS you will see that zero daily volume is pretty much not too unusual for this stock. That being said, closing a 70 million dollar deal should have had some effect....as it does not happen too often to pink sheet stocks, truth be told...LOL.
Another thing I don't understand is why, with SO SO MUCH insider holding, the company is so quiet....they are acting like lottery winners who are afraid to let their friends and family find out they won. I would think any of the officers, whether ready to cash in or not, would at least like to be able to check the stock price and see how rich they actually are...LOL. Why are they doing nothing to increase their own net worth.
Strange...really really strange !!
Not so much a matter of what they are doing with the money....it is what they are NOT doing.
What they are NOT doing is letting anybody know that a penny stock is now sitting with 70 million dollars more than they had on Friday !!!! No matter what they do with the money, they are 70 million more valuable today, and normally markets are supposed to reflect that....FWIW. ( Not too many penny stock speculators are likely to find out about it if it is only PRd by a $20 stock they have no reason to be looking at !!! )
I keep reading about revenues and projected revenues....but cannot find any financials at all. Also cannot find any evidence of an actual product being sold or distributed.
Can anyone here direct me to one store where I can buy any products manufactured by this company?
Hasn't gone too far....you can join him on another exciting journey if you'd like. He is touting an herbal cure for diabetes...PCML. And the bad news is already out of this one....you can jump in at the bottom...about 2 or three cents....and it is truly a bargain. Brent did his usual outstanding DD and felt it was a great buy at $2.50 just a month ago...LOL.
Let's take a guess.....Maria has a son and he is designing the new site...LOL. Someone may want to tell him the word is 'corporation'....not 'incorporation'.
Something to think about.....the standard line re: audited financials from the company has been "....HOPEFULLY by end of March." Today, I read that Maria says the audit MUST be out by end of March....inferring that time is running short, as the end of March is only 2 months away and much needs to be done. Yet, in the same message she says that everyone is going to be pleased by the numbers.
Firstly, I don't know how someone could say you will be pleased by the numbers when there has been no mention of anything to compare them to.....but most importantly, if there is still 2 months of work ahead, how could she have any idea what the numbers are?
Sounds like she may be sitting on Parkin's lap with good old Gerald moving her lips.....wonder if they are somehow related.
My guess would be that they meant CFO....financial, rather than executive
Actually, I think they have named the auditor....Dewey, Cheetham, and Howe !!!!
Thought I'd stop in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I notice that Empire Relations/Ken Maciora are gone.....RSM Top Audit is gone.....Deloitte and Touche is gone....and Gerald Parkin is gone !!!! Each one was supposed to be the savior of this company and was to lead it to the promised land. (At least that is what everyone claimed when I had negative comments on all of them.....but hey I was just the 'old investor' who couldn't see straight....LOL.
It is time to buy in again for me, and the way I see it, by the end of Jan. I will have made about 60 grand on this so called 'long term' investment.
Another word of unwanted advice....you all are already being set up for a fall in March when nothing happens.....Maria et al are ALREADY using the term "HOPEFULLY" when discussing the audited financials coming at the END of the first quarter.
LET THE BUYER BEWARE !!!!
Actually, this is NOT the company nor the MANAGEMENT which refused the buyout offer. It is actually, I would say, the company and management which supposedly MADE the offer. If so, they actually absorbed Nord Oil into the 'parent' company....and actually didn't have to spend a dime to do it !
Can always ask whether or not any adults are involved in the business.....:)
Reverse splits are not always bad....mostly yes, but it depends on the specific situations.
