Dr. Drew would not put his reputation on the line for a shell company. I’m sure he did the due diligence. This company is for real!
$SNDD for the win!
Makes perfect sense. Because Dr. Drew would definitely put his reputation on the line for a pump-and-dump penny stock scheme. The same Dr. Drew with 2.7 million Twitter followers and a reported net worth of $20 million. Yep. That makes all the sense in the world. He’s desperate for cash just like you. He’ll try anything to make a quick buck!
They just switched to zero commission within the last few weeks. It’s great.
Fidelity meets both criteria now
I thought DTC Chill was one of the many delicious flavors of Apple Rush.
This company sure has been quiet lately. Must be busy executing on the business plan.
Love it. Thanks for the info!
Rookie question — What’s going on Monday?
Despite the news drought, the share price has held up quite well in a tough tape. I hate to use a message-board cliche, but I really believe this thing is a coiled spring ready to pop on any new distribution deals or, hell, even an announcement that the website is up and running. I think there’s a lot of interest in the company because people love the product. As a consumer, I would buy the hell out of it if it was available in my state, or online for that matter. But hey, just because you love the product doesn’t mean it’s a good stock or a good company. As others have commented here, it would be a shame if Tony couldn’t make this thing take off.
But how many does Dr. Dre have?
Rookie question — Why would end-of-day buys possibly signal forthcoming news? Just curious!
I am one of those longs interested in scooping up those sub-penny shares if they become available.
That’s good! Maybe Oct. 3 will be a non-event like Y2K.
Go $APRU!
I hope you’re right, because these “service providers” are probably millionaires on paper. They can make it official starting on Oct. 3. If you could make a million dollars today, or hold out for the possibility of making even more later (but risk the share price going down), I’m guessing most people would take the million dollars today and not think twice about it.
I’m expecting sub-penny shares to be available in October. I hope I’m wrong, but if it happens I’ll try to scoop up as many as I can.
It is sad. And these ***holes are laughing all the way to the bank, as the saying goes.
I fell for this scam too. Didn’t become obvious to me until the $89.5 million BioScience CBD “deal” was announced in May. That’s when I realized this was all fiction. Only lost a couple hundred bucks, but still, shame on me for buying into this sham.
For sure. APRU has bee way too quiet!
Thanks. I’m sure Tony is nothing like that in real life. Lol. Just having a bit of fun.
Still long and strong $APRU here.
Same here!
High school reunion. LOL! I can picture it now.
"Tony Torgerud, is that you?"
"Yep, in the flesh. But my friends call me 'Tony T' now ... or '$Money' for short."
"Your friends call you 'Money'?"
"I'd like them to."
"So what have you been doing all these years?"
"Building a beverage empire."
"Wow, that's exciting. What's the name of your company? Have I heard of it?"
"Probably not. It's called Apple Rush."
"Hmm. Where can I get it?"
"It's available in mom and pop shops and liquor stores throughout the great state of North Dakota, Florida and New Jersey."
"Wow, that's really neat."
"You can buy it on Amazon too. But you can't buy it from our website. That's for marketing purposes only."
"OK."
(Whips out his phone) "Here's a picture of me with NFL great Leonard Marshall. And here's a picture of me with the Busch brothers. Have you heard of Southern Eagle Distributing?"
"No...."
"That's OK. Have you ever been in a stretch limo before? I rented five of them for the reunion."
"Wow. The beverage business must be really lucrative."
"Not really. The margins are terrible. But did you know you can make a fortune by issuing billions of share of stock? And you can pay your employees, vendors and even friends and family for 'services rendered.' And because we trade on the OTC Pink Sheets, there's minimal regulatory oversight."
"Gee, I didn't know that Tony."
"Yep. This is a great country!"
"Well, good for you."
"Say, would you like some stock?"
"Sure, I guess."
"How about 500,000 shares at .0004 a share. Does that sound good?"
"OK."
"I'm in a generous mood. Let's make it 2 million shares at .000000004 a share. In fact, sub-penny shares for everybody in the Class of '79! To all my friends!"
That makes sense
That’s the way it is with penny stocks. They tend to languish in between press releases.
Valid point. It is mystifying that they’re saturating the North Dakota market. Apple Rush is a high-end all-natural drink. The demographics are all wrong. They should be marketing to the Whole Foods crowd and hipsters and stoners on the left and right coasts. I’d think it would do well in Colorado too.
It may have a ton of sugar, but it’s naturally occurring sugar — from the fruit itself. I’m looking at a bottle right now. Ingredients are sparkling apple juice, natural flavors, natural fruit and vegetable color, citric and/or ascorbic acid.
I like it because it tastes good and it’s natural. No corn syrup, no cane sugar or added sugar. Am I wrong about that — do they add sugar?
I think a lot of the frustration on this board stems from the fact that we’ve all tried Apple Rush and love the product. So when we perceive a lack of progress, or we perceive what seem to be the standard penny stock shenanigans, it’s doubly frustrating because this seems like such a home run product. I can’t understand why we don’t have national distribution, because I think a lot of people would love Apple Rush if they could buy it. But what the heck do I know. Maybe this is all a pipe dream.
I have no problem buying APRU in Fidelity.
Lots of great opportunities for sure! Who knows, Hard Rush could be the product that takes this company to the next level. Good point about the alcohol content -- Hard Rush better have some bite to it!
Go $APRU!
I don't think the company's future hinges on the success of Hard Rush. Maybe the margins would be higher on an alcoholic beverage, but Apple Rush is a great product that should appeal to families, health-conscious consumers and anybody who enjoys fruit juice of any kind. Are you saying dudes won't buy it, or were you referring to Hard Rush? Also, are you developing some low-cost alternatives to Apple Rush? It wasn't clear in your post.
This one has turned out to be a real stinker!
Not sure what to make of this one. Whole sector is in the toilet obviously. Seems like a buy at these levels, assuming the feds approve 4Front acquisition down the road.
Goal is to be in all 50 states by the end of 2019 ... love it!
Long $KGKG
Sure does. Just trying to make sense of all the lingo in the trading/investing world. Thanks for taking the time to explain!
Rookie question here — what does it mean to “tap the ask”?
I think Apple Rush is tastier than Izze, and they sell that at Chipotle! That’s why I’m so excited about $APRU and the many possibilities.
Perfect opportunity for me to reload!
I would agree with that. Just getting on the shelf is a huge accomplishment. But I have read a couple troubling channel checks on this forum indicating that sales have been slow at some of the new stores. I think that just underscores the need for more marketing/advertising in new markets, which is why the Contend/KG Studios announcement is such a big deal, in my opinion.
If Apple Rush was available in my city or state, I would buy the hell out of it, because I'm familiar with it and I love it. But for people who don't know about it, they might not even give it a second look in the beverage cooler, or they might not even know it's there. We gotta get the word out!
Go $APRU!
Let’s hope he does. A new marketing/media campaign could kick this thing into high gear, and is much-needed to build awareness in the new markets where $APRU is launching. Tony has a great product, but it’s a crowded space and this would be a strong move to differentiate the brand.
RPOF ... LOL!
