ok, I was just wondering. The TA still says 500 - but your source is much better. thx. What does it take for the TA to become updated so they won't misinform the public?
Bliz, out of curiosity, do u ask the TA the A/S also when u call and talk to her?
Basically yes, but you can count on that is what you will pay for it. I have never seen a buy at lower than the limit placed on it. Not saying it don't, but I have never seen it. But I'm not one of the "guru's"
Anytime you trade a penny stock (especially a low penny stock/Pinkie) you need to place a limit order on it - it will probably cost a little extra, but long term it is probably worth it. Example - you trade $1000 of a stock - we'll say the Bid/Ask is .08/.10. If you do a market order, more than likely you will buy at the ask. If you do a limit, you can order them for the price you are willing to pay, but you also take a chance on not getting what you want, then end up buying while it's higher (what we call chasing the price).
Ex - $1000 / .10share = 10,000 shares.
Now place a limit at .09 $1000 / .09 = 11,111 shares.
Once you start playing with big dollars and large amounts of shares, the extra number of shares begin to add up. Especially with this one, imo. When we look for the long haul and we begin to reach dollarville.
Oh, it's just sleep. They'll be time for that when your dead.....
Jr - you still have my cell #? Give me a holler if you have a minute or two coming up.
edited.
Man when I logged on today I thought we had some big news or something - 110 unread posts in less than 18 or so hours. I wonder what the record for this board is.. Anyway, glad to see everyone's calmed down now. Now let's everyone wait and see what the YEAR brings. We've all known/said from the start we don't want this or know it's not going to be 2.00 in a week runner(but it might be nice though...). Glad to see everyone's kissed and made up now...
Good luck folks.
Waitin to put my ummm stuff "on the curb". DD - you mind if I use the curb thing in my signature?
Here in the southeast - we have kudzu problem like you would not believe. The ($&*$& grows like 6 inches a day and you pretty much cant kill it. I wonder how much cellulose (or whatever the stuff) can be brought out of it to make ethanol. I probably just gave away a million dollar idea knowing my luck.
Noob question - in the board info above does MM mean Million or Billion? TIA - or having a TIA that is....
Thanks
Firefox Issues that were posted before......
For all those interested - I have received 2 emails from them in regards to the Firefox incompatibility issue we found out about last week. Anyway here's how they replied with the last one. - The first one basically saying - Thank you we will look into it - in a paragraph. Anyhow, in a nutshell it's fixed from what I can tell. Here's the last email:
Dear Mr. XXXXXXXX,
Our Paychest web Project Manager has informed us that the Mozilla Firefox browser display problem has been fixed.
Some of the older browsers are not very compatible with the dotnet platform and require extra coding for backward compatibility.
For speed of delivery, Mr. Pillay has split the product development into various teams. Our project leader is responsible for co-ordination,
testing and ensuring that the rollout goes smoothly.
However, with short delivery timelines, we cannot test for every possibility. This is the compromise we have to accept in favor of our rapid rollout
schedule. We will update any bugs, errors and compatibility issues as they become known.
Once again, Paychest thanks you and others for taking the time to inform us of any errors and problems. Without such feedback, it is an
enormous task to find these problems.
Please check your browser access and give us your valuable feedback.
Sincerely,
Investor Relations
That's why I don't bet much. I usually lose on whimsical bets....
yeppers... Suprised they didn't bring it back down some. Closed at HOD. Now to just move that decimal a couple of spaces to the right.
In the words of Sean, Thumbs, and Juice - Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....
Anyone want to place money on whether or not a very small (100's) trade at the very end of the day brings us down to .10??
We usually go to HHI every fall, last year we went to HHI and Myrtle - stayed near the pavillion - will NEVER do that again. Don't know if I'm going to make to HHI this year, depends on if the state of CO draws me for an Elk Hunt. Wife will be down there though, you can "entertain" her if you want, ROFL.
I say we go to Hilton Head, lol.
Nooooo, we need $2. That way I only have to sell half to do what I want to do. So for this - each of us has to put in 2 cents worth.
Now showing .00 wait - it changed back to .06. manip at its finest probably.
I'll edit again - saves on my posts - Shania and Up - perfect combination......
I might be naive here, but aren't the brokerage tickers supposed to be real-time also? I don't get it. If one shows one thing, and another shows something different, what's the correct one, and doesn't that add to the criminality of all the MM's, BROKEr's etc.?
I'm showing .06 x .10 on SUCKtrade. I filled out the apps for TDAmeritrade yesterday after we all "spoke". Just need to sign and send em in. If it's really .09 x .10, I bet there's news coming.......... Just a guess though
You're probably right on the pop with a good PR, but I'm hoping there's enough longs that has the majority of the float tied up. We did a survey last year when the float was like at 12 million(some restricted came due and we had a divy so it increased) or so and if I remember right we had nearly half the float tied up on this board alone. I'm guessing it's pretty close to that now. BUT on that note, with low floater there sometimes are pretty big swings in the pps, so some of us longs can sell/buy on rises and falls, and increase/decrease(bad) your holdings tremendouosly - if you have the guts to try it anyway. I'm not willing to risk it though. Unless it pops to 5 or 10 dollars in the next couple of weeks that is.
DD - if it does that I guar-ON-TEE that EMS will no long be treating me bad - and I will probably be fired in the process.
I think there's still some skepticism from earlier times and pinksheet companies in general. Lot's of times companies keep saying that they're making the move off the pinksheets, only to be either intentionally misleading, unwilling or incapable of making the transition. Soooo, lucky for us, those that are able can continue to accumulate at these levels until the regulated boards are reached - which at that point and time is when the real money will come. Once that milestone is reached, the mutual fund managers will buy into the company sending serious dollars our way. And with this low float? If earnings come close to projections, the pps of this should skyrocket. Or well, this is what I hope anyway.
Take Care All.
Yeppers, off to pick my young'n up. Everyone have a great rest of the day....
hit a dime this late in the day, hopefully we'll close there (or above)
Large is probably not the word for it. Astronomical, yeah, that would be better. I done something similar a few years back (2000 or so) on a stock that actually ended up running up on fake news and rumors (IMDS). I should've retired with that one, but I didn't have the 'nads to do it. It ultimately ran from .03 to 6.50ish (I sold at 5.00 but didn't buy in at .03) over a few months - but several got indicted over that deal. If I would have had a lot of money in it I'm guessing they would have probably investigated me. They went down from posting stuff in the chatrooms/forums etc. that were blatantly false.
Thanks for the info - both of you.
Fire/EMS is still there (stuck for now). whee. Still going to school getting a network admin degree and then probably going to top it with either programming or business admin, I dunno. I still absolutely hate ems, I figure it's pretty bad when you're going on a Code and think it's B.S. Luckily, I'm at a slow station so I don't run that much. Couple of calls a day, but at least they're legit usually. I guess that's a perk of having been around a while and seeing entirely too much in any one lifetime.
On the posting thing, like I was telling Jr earlier, I've always been around - just kind of quiet sometimes. Hope your young'ns have smartened up and g.t.f.o. of ems and found something they're not going to kill their backs, body, and mind at. (no I'm not burned-out).
Hope you were able to get in that HMPG thing. I seen that a week ago. I need to start watching more what some of my ppl marks are saying.....
Take Care,
Noob.
Anybody that's been with this stock any amount of time should be used to this. The large spreads have been the norm except for when the volume hits since I've been in it (May/June of last year I think). It's also got something to do with the low float I would guess. Not to mention the MMs are basically crooks. I'm with Jr on this one, there is no reason that I can think of to why pure electronic trading cant be done.
On that note - something that's a little O/T from the stock, but does have to do with trading - a question really. I have Scottrade, which I originally got in because of the low requirements to open an account, but I have learned to hate it. I have been in Etrade, didn't have any problems with them except for inactivity fees while I took a break from trading. (as you can tell and Jr can attest - I am a broke mf, lol - well not rich anyway) Anyhow, SUCKtrade won't let me put a gtc order in at a substantially higher amount above ask, (5 or 10 dollars - actually 20cents - i tried this just to see how low it would go and decided to quit because I was afraid it would actually go through) whereas Etrade would in the past when I had it (2000 or so) Anyway - is there any trading platform/company out there that will let me place orders like that whom dont have inactivity fees, or a ridiculous minimum acct balance? Thanks for your help in advance.
yep, I can too my friend. Off to bed now after watching Peyton finally come through on the big one. Thought his teammates were going to lose it for him in the first part of the game.
Have to go to Active Directory class in the morning. Take care and talk to ya tomorrow.
I want 2 dollars, but I'm guessing we probably wont get that..... Oh well, I guess I'll just sit and wait.
email sent to info@paychest.com consisted of the following:
To the IT / Website design Department
Just thought you might want to know you have some issues with different browsers from what I can tell. When using Mozilla Firefox the text is all over the page and it allows you to keep going when you click the "Log In" button, which it then asks for your bank account info. Click Cancel (like I'm going to give that as a not logged) then you can enter into the send money/receive money from email addresses forms. That's all I noticed, but that's also all I really played with too.
I attempted to submit via the contact us form also (not logged in and using IE 6.0 this time) an receive a SQL error. Looks like a Javascript coding error, but I'm sure you can tell better than I.
Heres the error on that(I tried to submit twice):
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at PaychestWeb.CustomerSupportForNotLogged.ImageButton4_Click(Object sender, ImageClickEventArgs e) in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\PaychestWeb\CustomerSupportForNotLogged.aspx.vb:line 89System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: String or binary data would be truncated. No, it's not a "basher problem" I hope it does well, trust me. I cant stand paypal, ebay, etc. Anyhow, I attempted to resend through their support form - well anyway before I "complain" about the form not working - does anybody have an email addy to their support team or do I just need to email the info@ address? TIA.
Not complaining, just warning. BTW, I sent the something yesterday through the contact support link detailing what was going on. I forgot to mention that earlier. I'll resend just to make everyone happy.
i agree with you. But there's still downside here. (We only have 2 "00's" before the 1.) Could always end up with 3. GL
Pretty much, making sure web pages interface with different browsers is in Web Design 101 in College. Not that I know from experience or anything
Could be some that are not willing to wait things out and are putting their money elsewhere? Who knows.
In the words of Warren Buffet - The stock market is a medium for the patient to make money off of the impatient.
How many of you guys use Mozilla Firefox? Well, FYI on the paychest website - I can log-in without putting anything in the fields (it recognizes it as NotLogged) then it asks for my bank account info. I click cancel - there is no way in you-know-where that I'm giving them that if I am able to "login" with out giving any information. Also, it allows me to go to the send money/receive money page and fill in the blanks then gives me a receipt with it. I thought about playing again, but umm no. Good luck to you and be careful.
Oh, I stop by every day, I just dont say much. you know How I am. Posted one a few days ago about This September. If I don't get drawed for CO elk season I'll be down again. This time the round's on me.
BTW now is showing no ask - think that's a good thing
I'll second that....
Very long shot. However, IMHO something is going to happen, there's nearly 2 Billion shares outstanding so even if a merger/purchase is in order I would say a R/S will happen before or soon thereafter. I think the action that everyone picked up on not too long ago was the owners - but I'm only guessing on this point. Might be worth a play, but you will probably see at least a 1:20 r/s (gets the a/s down to 100 million) - another guess. I thought about buying, but SUCKTrade wont allow me to buy online - and I don't feel like dealing with calling them. GL in whatever u do.
Yep. Typical government streamlining, lol. I don't look for anything on the product, yet I think we're at the point of either becoming a shell and being somewhat redeemded that way (HAH!), or just going "kerplop" (sound made when rock enters water and sinks to bottom.)
