TC - Your explanation was far more informative, and appreciated. Either way, in the end it was a tremendous gain. I want NWBO to do as well, and lead the way to something wonderful.
It may have been .62 before the 1/6 reverse split in July of 2012. It shot up to 34.30 after that.
Milner,
I have a limit order for 5K shares sitting at .36. Get it down to that number, and I'll buy you a Fresca.
Sounded like six at 2M. Whatever. Better than dilution all the way around.
a series of six nonconvertible, promissory notes with unrelated third parties (the “Notes”) in the original principal amount of $2,020,000
This thing is like an Olympic marathoner in the last 100 meters of the race, struggling and fighting to get to the finish line.
I don't care one iota about you other than when you're going to implode and disappear.
Your comments are unnecessary, and you are irrelevant. Sounds like you're imploding too, which I take great joy in seeing.
Unless the billionaire investor overstepped his bounds, and put the company and its trial in jeopardy. I'd say that gives her the right to be pissed off, and to treat said investor with the same lack of respect he showed her.
"The BIG naked shorts remain, and they are trying to keep the price down to keep the company from succeeding."
Who would want to keep a company from succeeding that's got a possible cure for a horrible disease? There isn't enough blood left in this turnip to go to that much trouble just for a couple million bucks is there? There's much bigger money at stake on the other side of this. Who knows, this immunotherapy could make other therapies as useful as the leech.
Good that it's all being documented, for what it's worth.
There is hope in dreams, imagination, and in the courage of those who wish to make those dreams a reality.
The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more.
I have had dreams and I have had nightmares, but I have conquered my nightmares because of my dreams.

The worst tragedy that could have befallen me was my success. I knew right away that I was through - cast out.

I'm merely talking about the how the stock moves on a daily basis. A spread is created, and that's where the funny business is taking place. I won't argue with you about the value of the stock at the moment. It is what it is. MMs are playing in the spreads.
In the world of OTC biotechs, skepticism can only be measured by the amount of cash you're willing to risk. Your words mean nothing, except to those that you're beholden to.
BSB, you are correct, and it should be stopped. Call your elected representatives. Call the representatives of Maryland. I'm sure they'd love that a possible cure for cancer was coming out of Bethesda. Don't forget to mention all of the players here working for NITE.

Lobby is inline, and pushing immunotherapy/personalized meds. Just started seeing this ad a lot more.
The only investor you should be worried about is you, and if you're not an investor, well...
"why are shareholders down ninety percent and what are they prepared to do about it? "
The stock may be down ninety percent from an all time high, but shareholders percentages will vary based on their entry point.
Some shareholders who feel adversely affected will contact the company, or the SEC, et al, and voice their concerns. The majority will likely be vocal with their wallets by buying or selling the stock. You also have the chance to vote for or against management as a shareholder. The real question, is what are YOU going to do about it? It's as simple as that.
Maybe you could organize a Meetup group for disgruntled NWBO shareholders, or stock shorters, and organize a march through the streets of Bethesda with pitchforks and torches?
Paint some picket signs? "DOWN WITH THE CURE!!" "SHORTS ARE PEOPLE TOO!!" "STOCK MANIPULATORS ARE BEING MISTREATED!!" "A CURE FOR CANCER IS A DEFEAT FOR THE SYNDICATE!!" "JUSTICE FOR AF!!"
You make it sound like NWBO is the only company that has ever made missteps, or some questionable decisions on their product's journey to market. This is a cutthroat industry, and if LP had to slide through the turnstile, and put her token in after the fact, I'm okay with it to an extent. Do you actually believe that other bio startups, and BP are all angels?
About Woodford I get one thing. He's still invested. He could have easily gone Sir Larry Wildman and dumped the stock to burn LP's ass, and all of ours.
"It was the first time the drug, which works in combination with immunotherapy treatment, had been used in humans to fight cancer.
I wonder what immunotherapy treatment was used?

At 66, my Dad was diagnosed with GBM, and was dead 50 days later. It was bad enough seeing such a vibrant, caring, smart, strong man go through that, and even worse watching my Mom have to deal with it. Almost 10 years later, it still affects us all. Until it goes away, it will never go away.
I hope you're correct, but the burning question I have is where the 18M+ shares that CF Woodford Equity Income Fund bought, or will buy, are coming from? Open market, or another round of financing from NWBO which means more dilution?
https://fintel.io/so/us/nwbo
Correct. But, they weren't bought on the open market, because the volume would reflect that. I'm wondering if it's another round of financing because I don't know where else the shares would come from. Just trying to get my head around it.
Where did/will the 18M shares come from? The 13G says they're being issued by NWBO, just like in the 13G from CVI and Intracoastal.
