Any chance of a form 4 being filed after the close?
To put fact to your question.... in the last 10 years it traded once over 100M in volume on a single day (Jul 18, 2013). The PPS actually dropped $0.083 from the previous day's close. You never know what this stock is going to do!! ;) But....... on Jul 17, 2013, the day before, it jumped up just under $.14 ($0.066 to $0.202). How about them apples!
Hopefully soon we can all quit looking in the rear view mirror and focus on the future!!
Sorry for the table column format.

And most have their opinions as to how long the "foreseeable future" is before operating profits. And your opinion is?
I have a money tree out back and purchased 500,000 shares of LQMT. And then I'll buy another 500,000 when it hits $0.06. Yeah right, so believable like some on this board. And then then it hit's $.44 again I'll sell them all because it's so hard to read a little and find the historic info. LMAO
Maybe on Monday some action by the BOD will take place when a NEW 52 week low is reached. Do you think they even notice?
I guess there was some fear on my end so I pulled back from 300,000 when we were in the $0.30s and still hold 125,000.
Really!!! Take out Li and those that were gifted options that will turn into shares then provide your thoughtfully calculated figure for discussion. It's one thing if management were salaried at lower levels and given options at a higher share price than today to keep them motivated. IMHO ~$150K/yr and above for a salary is pretty darn good for a Co. that hasn't shown rev yet.
Constructive discussion on both sides lends for better results in business.
Calling someone amigo is so contradictory to the spirit of most of your posts.
157 million subs in 2017 per below link.
Hope 4Q shows continued rev improvement as well for LQMT. It can't come quick enough.
I did deal with AT&T regularly in a past life with SIMs. i.e. Optimization of airtime for data only devices in the hundreds of thousands of subs. That area is definitely a cash cow for the carriers if not controlled. Was fun work....cat and mouse game.
Voice devices I'm sure is an even more lucrative rev source since individuals are notorious for not managing usage very well and especially at companies when it's not your dime.
If Apple is ahead in the eSIM game it will be a significant advantage for them IMHO.

The sun will rise tomorrow, fact.
5G is coming, in the future, fact.
Will LQMT show noteworthy revenue supporting 5G in 6mo, rather than 1-2 years after everyone else? Time will tell. They haven't shown the ability to lead to market yet in anything they have pursued that we've seen. The carrot keeps moving time wise on everything discussed.
Just keeping it real!! Don't say just sell because I wouldn't be here if I didn't want LQMT to succeed.
If anyone in tech is not pursuing 5G now they are followers and miss the opportunity to cash. Qualcomm modems, Apple's e-SIM, carrier SIMs, carrier infrastructure all pursuing 5G. AT&T will struggle with all their debt! Like GE!
I don't live in California but was in town for the holiday weekend and since I was close I made the drive by.
Not that I was expecting to see any activity in Lake Forest this past Saturday, since it was a holiday weekend, but I took a short detour from club soccer games to drive by the facility since I was town and only ~35 miles away. No sign of activity that I could tell from the outside.
The family said I was a stalker and then asked... can we go get something to eat!
Same car parked outside with the front license plate that said L Q M T as per a previous poster from the past.
Maybe shorts and traders are buying in now at $.12 - $.14 because they sold at $.24 when they were told they would be spanked and it wouldn't go any lower. Now they have more shares and are laughing all the way to the bank.
Did you read the quarterly reporting? They wrote off inventory and that was part of their COGS.
My guess is sometime before (or maybe need for) the next Qtrly reporting we will have some obligatory blog or PR that states how they now have a 4000a power upgrade and have all equipment now available for scale production. Yippee! 2 yrs and counting. Have to make it look like something is happening.
I would think if you are employed you have job responsibilities and if you ask for a raise or seek new employment you don't highlight your normal work but your accomplishments above and beyond. That is what gets you hired or promoted or identified for a pay raise. Or maybe a certain color nose gets what you want. Maybe I'm naive!
Show some growth from the $55K previous Qtr and that will move the needle.
Is it really worth a billion? It's really worth what someone is willing to pay. Apple 20Mill, Li 64Mill. I think my house is worth 500K but it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.
I HOPE LQMT is worth many billion. Time will tell. tick tock!
How to Type the Registered Trademark Symbol
Hold down the "Alt" key and type 0174 using the number pad on the right of the keyboard if using a Windows-based computer. ...
Hold down the "Option" key in the lower row of the keyboard and press "R" if using a Macintosh computer.
I guess that would be marketing! and depressing (decending)! hopefully the tide turns
I'm sure you know who... but it wouldn't be me!
The 3 Qtr financial reporting can't come quick enough. Tired of hearing about the face of the watch. How about a Date and time on the face of the watch that shows we are way past results that shareholders should expect! New Emoji's and watch face designs blah, blah, show me the revenue beef from other contracts and the rest will follow!
8yrs and counting
define "significant" revenues?
HaHa Maybe the DOJ needs to investigate LQMT for price manipulation like they are doing with TESLA! I guess Li isn't quite as vocal as Musk which is a good thing, I think.
LQMT please be more transparent with TIMELY factual info if that's possible. I have to believe not everything is a NDA.
Not sure what this site provides besides history. I don't see anything with 2018 activity dates for our encouragement. Maybe I'm missing something?
Is LQMT doing any Trade shows in the second half of 2018? I see they had several the 1st half of the year but not sure of any listed for the future.
Is that not a good strategy to Market and Sell our latest capabilities? Wonder what Kris Kent is working on! Maybe he is working with the customers we are already engaged with prior to his employ. Logical I think!
:) Always good to challenge the brain at any age!
I admire your endless effort to provide DD to the followers on this board but you must consider this a long term investment at this point in 2018. Not sure if yours or anyone's investment strategy term has stayed true from inception on this train. HOPE!
Investing Strategy
<1yr - Short term
1-3yrs - Medium term
3+yrs - Long term
5+yrs - LQMT shareholders who are insane, haha
Correct I believe it is between $.15~$.16/sh.
Should I invest $63.4M and conservatively earn 7-12% annually or invest in LQMT? Hmmmm today at $.18/sh. I would want a favorable ROI within 3yrs. TBD!!
Maybe I should have invested in something else to earn the 7-12% annually. What fun would that be though...ehh?
Yes, in 000's.
Anyone have details about Co. plan to clear this LT liability up? Must not be an issue with the external audit firm I guess! Last on the priority list if their is one!
13. Other Long-Term Liabilities
Other Long-term Liabilities balance of $856 and $856 as of December 31, 2017 and 2016, respectively, consists of long term, aged payables to vendors,
individuals, and other third parties that have been outstanding for more than 5 years. The Company is in the process of researching and resolving the
balances for settlement and/or write-off in accordance with applicable accounting rules.
They can't use downtime due to facility relocation as an excuse for not producing something either. Maybe power shortage, hehe!
Sure would be nice to have more transparency around their $308K Alloy purchase commitments due less than 1 year from Dec'17. Anyone have idea's what their making out of it if anything? Serious ideas! All R&D? Hope it isn't collecting dust!
I'm waiting for you to start singing kumbaya my lord. Have you read anything about Jobs? He was not a nice person by many accounts. Maybe some positive qualities but not very giving!! IMO
spot on commentary IMO!
Just curious, how long have you followed LQMT and been invested?
I would think he would have to file an SEC form too but I'm not an expert on forms 3, 4, 5. per his BOD position.
"On August 16, 2017, the Company and Tony Chung, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, entered into a Separation Agreement and General
Release pursuant to which Mr. Chung resigned as an officer and employee of the Company (the “Separation Agreement”)."
News release dated August 22, 2017
"Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. .........elected Mr. Tony Chung as a director of the Company. In connection with his appointment to the Board of Directors, Mr. Chung resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, and Mr. Bryce Van, Former Corporate Controller, was appointed as Vice President of Finance......"
Form 3 is an SEC filing filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to indicate a preliminary insider transaction by an officer, director, or beneficial (10%) owner of the company's securities.
Insider trading information from Form 4 filings filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). An insider is defined as any officer and/or beneficial owner who is buying or selling their company's stock is required to file a Form 4.
Form 5 is an SEC filing submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission on an annual basis by company officers, directors, or beneficial (10%) owners, which summarizes their insider trading activities.
Correct that was my thought. Buy them on the 15th and turn around and immediately sell them. The exercise prices were all below $0.20 except for 732K of them at $.29. ( $0.124, $0.08, $0.14, $0.07)
But does he have to disclose?
LQMT changed all the options from unexcercisable to excercisable at the date of separation (8/16/17) with expiry on 8/16/18.
If on the BOD is he (Chung) required to disclose his selling or buying activity if not an employee or officer and potentially less than 10% owner.... via a form 3,4,5??
If I'm correct the Form 4 filed on 11/16/17 for Chung reflects stock option expiration dates of 8/16/18. ( 1yr from his 8/16/17 separation agreement date). All the options moved to extend the excercise period to 1yr from the separation date as they all moved to excercisable.
Not sure about PH.
Do you think the huge spike in volume on 8/15/18 is associated with Chung? 6.6Mil volume vs the normal 1 to 1.5mil daily.
On the bright side his 1yr salary of $240K ($20K/mo) ended. :)
Resignation of Chief Financial Officer
On August 16, 2017, the Company and Tony Chung, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, entered into a Separation Agreement and General
Release pursuant to which Mr. Chung resigned as an officer and employee of the Company (the “Separation Agreement”). The Separation Agreement
provides for the payment of severance compensation to Mr. Chung in the form of a continuation of his base annual salary of $240,000 (subject to tax
withholdings) for a period of 12 months and reimbursement for COBRA healthcare coverage for a period of 12 months. In addition, it provides for the
accelerated vesting of 247,650 of the 2,455,601 unvested stock options held by Mr. Chung as of the separation date and the extension of the exercise
period of his options until the earlier of the first anniversary of the date of the Separation Agreement or the date on which such options would otherwise
expire and terminate in accordance with their terms if Mr. Chung had not resigned. This results in a total of 2,889,749 stock options being exercisable by
Mr. Chung as of the separation date. Under the Separation Agreement, Mr. Chung agreed to be available to provide assistance to the Company by
telephone with no additional consideration for ninety days following the separation date. In connection with the Separation Agreement, Mr. Chung
granted the Company general releases subject to customary exceptions.
How to break thru the $.197 barrier? Maybe announce some positive operational news!
