Do we know how long it takes for the new ticker to appear and the shares to be released through the various platforms? Last split I was in was over a year ago and I don't care to think about it, hah.
LOL 2's... god da***t...
Gallons of blood in the water lately...
$88k is better than $36k, which is better than $0. Say what you want, they're trying. $136k in marketing expenses is good too. that's a damn lot of money to put into marketing, here's to hoping that something or someone bites!
I think this got overlooked somehow:

Agreed. Being out of their old office with no PR to either let us know, or to tell us where they're going, left us with nothing but doom and gloom. This had us finding it hard to not believe what M.Berg was saying all along.
Step 1) Reinstate with Nevada SOS.
Step 2) Get an office address, a real one.
Step 3) Get the financials up to date.
Step 4) Sell some pallets of vodka, not paper to your shareholders.
Step 5) Profit.
I would feel a lot better if v.3 was launched from Vegas and not BF, California. I realize they're right on the outskirts of Santa Ana, but do you hear people talk about Santa Ana like they do Vegas? Nope.
Vegas it is, this is a solid move for a company such as this. Get right into the thick of it and go door to door old school.
Whoa man this was a solid find!
Appreciate the DD!!!
Sell to some Casinos! Let's GO!!!
"...If Marani is paying more than that, then that means they should expect more than just web site hosting for their money."
Correct. It's not just the hosting, but the upkeep (functional updates to modules, etc.), and the access to designers, content writers, etc.
Web.com has websites for a dollar... doesn't mean it's a good idea...
Here's what I just sent Marani:
Margrit (or anyone else on the other end really),
I'm currently an investor of Marani (one of the positive ones anyway) and was wondering what you're paying monthly for website hosting. All of us investors know money is tight, and some like to say negative things about it but as a simple matter of cost I was asked if my company could build a new maranibrands website.
This wouldn't make sense if you're currently paying less than $39.00 a month, so if that's higher than your current cost I would just stop reading here as not to waste anymore of your time.
The current Marani site is now mobile friendly, which is great, and we offer that automatically with our plan. If you are in fact paying more than $39.00 all in for your current hosting then check us out!

We're a Murietta, CA based web firm that just got our feet planted and are willing to make breaks for our first 20 or so clients due to the fact that we're still so fresh. We're still under 20 (but close to it) so you would fall into that category of the price break.
If you didn't stop reading by now, that would let me assume that you're paying more than $39 to keep MaraniBrands.com up and running.
If it would be a significant savings for you, then shoot us an email response and let's talk!
Thank you for your time,

Man I own a web firm. Maybe I'll get in contact with her.......
I would even give her a price break since money is tight.
They're trying to make this work. There are little things that pop up here and there that show that they haven't given up yet. They're easy to find, and the methods are not fast. The fact remains that they're trying.
I'll stick around to see copper again, because I know it will happen.
Go $MRIB!
Could not possibly agree with you more. Patience. The kids these days have none, and I think we're seeing where they get it from. Right here with you GB!
Still nothing in here eh?
Come on Marani, do something for crying out loud!
Phil came in here to check in and to let us know that he realizes that people are upset (even though that's the name of the game unless the share price is rocketing).
Your grammar is what's embarrassing around here.
Thanks Phil! $SWRF!
You and me both man... here's to hoping! $MRIB
Just an FYI. The Marani Facebook page has two pictures from the tasting they had at Amelia Liquor's North Store. The Amelia website is down and I've contacted them to get set back up.
Beat it to death if you want, there was liquor, and more importantly Marani Vodka in that store.
VF,
Slide down to page 18 on this link:

Then I jumped to the facebook page from there:

Which links the winery's website directly:

It was just a choose your own adventure exercise ;)
NICE find!
Man, there's all kinds of good information following up on that too.
Thank you!!!
Anyone going to call attention to the party in Armenia in 4 days? I think that's pretty rad honestly!
I see that they added the replenishment of arrows over time. Not sure if what I said to Mr. S had any impact on that, but the ability for more than just the paying customers to play will in turn, create more paying customers. It's a slow build in the game world when you're coming out of the gate with something like this, but having the ability to set it down and come back to a handful of arrows after a day or however long will make people keep the game longer than if you were to run out, and that's it until a payment is made.
I might download it now that I see that they're making this change.
Here's to hoping it sparks some life back into $MRIB!
I didn't think this was that big of a deal when someone mentioned it but there will probably be a decent attendance at this. The VIP gets 2 Marani Drinks per night. Who knows what could happen, at least they're finally branching out of local CA events. Yes they were at the NYE thing, but that kind of flopped in my opinion.
Large companies typically have in-house accounting. MRIB does not, therefore have to wait in line with the hired third-party accounting firm to get their financials out. Penny companies housed inside of large cities have more waiting to do than say a penny company located in Idaho using a local accounting firm for their financials.
We have a few accountants in here, too bad none of us can do it because it would be considered insider information as we already have our hands in the pickle jar and would be receiving the information earlier than the public eye.
It says right in that document you linked that it was because of and I quote, "...lack of current and accurate information concerning the securities of Alternative Energy Partners, Inc. because of questions concerning the accuracy and adequacy of publicly available information about the company, including, among other things, its business activities, the control of the company, and trading in its securities."
Lack of current information would include the business activities and the control of the company but they stated that anyway for the purpose of clarity. Nowhere does it say anything about fraud, just that there isn't much information available. Now sure, you can interpret that as fraud, or you could interpret that as ten different things, but that's not what the SEC said in that document.
Lack of current information means delinquent filings. If you don't pay your electric bill on time, are you committing fraud, or are you delinquent in paying the bill? Don't over-complicate this document into something it's not.
Something is afoot. It's not like it's super busy in here today post-wise.
I dumped my position in this over a year ago close to even money, but now that I saw the magical "Steam," word show up, I'm going to get back in once my dollars clear.
Steam has made even the smallest of projects big hitters. It's a fantastic platform, and this was a really smart move on $IENT's part.
Solid news! (from Scottrade today May 6!)

Moving the wrong direction here kids... WTF is this... 2.3 mil shares drop the share price almost in half? Good grief!
Being that I'm in the process of building a small game for my kids, and to eventually release on the Play Store, you can't shut out the 95% that will play the game in their free time by making it unplayable unless a purchase is made. You combat the need for purchase by adding Ad's to the game in between waiting periods for arrows to regenerate. Make them on a timer, and have an Ad pop up after every time they run out of arrows (but NEVER mid-game). 5 minutes per arrow, 20 minutes per arrow, an hour per arrow with a max of X arrows. Make it so they run out, go to bed, wake up and have a full stock of arrows, whether it be 5 or 50. The money made on the Ads is how 99% of the games are free on the Play Store. Ad space is very important. Making micro-transactions available is how you pull in the whales, not making a game exclusively for whales. This isn't a Maybach, this is a game app for a device.
There's no flashy outward appearance that will be shown by the whales that pay to play this. They can't wear the game on their wrist, or drive the game to the golf club. It won't make their friends jealous, and it won't make people envy them.
By making the game pay only, you're never going to get past that 5% and you're shutting out the possibility of hundreds of thousands of positive reviews on the game, and millions in Ad revenue.
I've done a ton of research on this. This isn't the Microprose days where you charge 50 bucks for the game and people buy it because they have trust in Microprose quality. IENT is relatively unknown, and coming out of the gate with a pay-only game is not the way to get positive attention.
In my opinion, have your programmers rework the arrows to a timer, set Ad's to play after they run out of arrows, make it so they can play once or twice a day. You'll get a lot more mileage (and money) out of a game that you can play more than once.
Danny
Mmmm Kraken rum.
Yeah that would be giving them a head start to get the hell out of dodge. They don't typically telegraph investigations, gives too much room for people to disappear.
Pretty sure Bernie Ebbers didn't know when they were coming for him, or they wouldn't have found him.
I still have hope for this company, therefore I'm sticking with what I've got regardless of where it ends up.
Pretty sure information regarding an investigation of that level would breach insider laws as it would create an advantage no? 2000 miles is right next door after-all, why not FBI and IRS too?
And they said that good news is on it's way down the pipeline. Excellentes!
I am 99% sure that is not the correct address. The building they occupied never looked that good.
Over 500 bottles anyway. That's better than nothing considering there has been next to zero advertising. I didn't mind these fins at all! Lots of shifting taking place, and the investors are in the same boat as us now, so they're going to want this to move up as well.
This needs to be stickied or brought to better attention since they finally filed!
Anyone that hasn't taken an accounting class won't realize that though. They just see the 12 mil in loss and exploit it as though the company is going nowhere but down...
I could not agree more, but that's on every board, for every stock unfortunately.
Here's hoping for a PR today on the behind the scenes action!
