Just what we need in the oval - a guy with super thin skin!
or worse, a president who whines on twitter.
But in many countries men aren't afraid to elect a female leader...
it's always been astonishing to me that we demand women's rights, equality, religious freedom
from other countries and we fail in all categories in our own country. Astonishing sounds like a compliment. Let me change it to hypocritical.
{I would interpret your post as suggesting some women would stand quietly by while some sick entitled bastard grabbed them by the pussy in order to protect their safety zone?
I wouldn't. People want self respect but don't necessarily want or need the podium or independence. I have many friends that literally don't want anything to do with assertive women and consider them nutcases. Others want the freedom and independence. I don't know anyone that would want what you and Trump discuss!
I suspect they think Trump can deliver on his promises to bring jobs back to America.
That too.
Trump felt the minimum wage was too high. He changed his position but when he negotiates trade deals the wages in America are going to be the downside of any successful negotiation. Same with renegotiating Obamacare. I see CVS/Walgreen type companies with dressing rooms for the traveling physicians to perform physicals like they do with dogs at Petco and company. Or you can choose the more expensive service (like most of us have now) at a much higher cost. Our wages and benefits are the block for any cost reduction attempt.
"Liz Warren is considered too aggressive for even more women..."
-I totally disagree
Your statement assumes all women think on the same level for women's equality. That is far
from true. And while Hillary was considered too liberal (which she clearly isn't) for many as Red Sox
put it Evangelical women (and others frankly around me here in Massachusetts) Liz is considered
even a larger degree too aggressive. You honestly can't tell me you believe that all women subscribe to the theory of When a female is "aggressive", men call her a bitch..when a male is "aggressive", men call him a leader.
Many women want that dependency of men. They feel much safer and don't want the likes of Hillary or worse Liz interfering with that safety zone.
Not sure you understand women too well.
LOL!
Clinton Couldn’t Win Over White Women.....That was the surprising thing.
In a way not. Many women today still feel independence for women is a threat and are fearful of people like Hillary Clinton. It's going to be an interesting roadblock to get through. If it were Sarah Palin she wouldn't carry White Women either (certainly not many who voted for Hillary types lol). Liz Warren is considered too aggressive for even more women.
And a Trump-Biden match would have been entirely free of bullshit about Benghazi and emails, not to mention Bill Clinton's transgressions. That would have made Trump's problems--his many failed businesses, his scammy businesses, his questionable foundation, and his virulent misogyny--stand out more starkly.
Didn't think of the baggage. You're right. Biden has none and Trump was too far out but that immigrant agenda I think is what sold Trump and that's why I didn't think anyone could beat him. He has a powerful base
I blame the "my vote doesn't matter" people
or the ones who didn't want Trump but couldn't bring themselves to vote for Hillary and voted the protest candidates
and women haven't grown up enough to be supportive of other women. There were a fair amount of those and Blacks didn't come through (what's she ever done for me)
Who do the Dems have to put up in 2020 that can beat out this racist, bigoted, bitter group we have across America. I don't believe Bernie, Biden or Liz could have done any better.
there may be hope for the future....along with Joe Kennedy. The Dems are putting up great candidates for the next generation. I think Teddy is considering also....so far clean, educated, vibrant group

"Well, at least if only ONE of them screws up, it won't seem so bad..."
I'm impressed with that move.
"this is so like DEMS...."
but think about it. its actually more realistic and representative of the diversity our nation has. hopefully each has ability to reach out these groups. One major problem we have everywhere is we arent one mindset or culture.
"debate....".
I agree. Hopefully these hit the cable shows and they dig out the facts
"New DNC chair....". havent seen announcement but I like her
" I'm nervous that more damaging emails ..."
I think we're all holding our breath!
"A tad conspiratorial, but nonetheless interesting: "
is interesting. he certainly mentions him enough.
[Wrong! The head of the DNC's job is to register new people and inspire them to get out and vote! i]
I can't add anything more to what I said: People have to want to vote.
What I find ironic is many folks who shop in WAL-MART - China's warehouse - whine about U.S. jobs shipped overseas. I refuse to support W-M.
not to mention how many companies they put out of business in the process. What goes around comes around and Amazon is the come around
"For as long as she was DNC chair....."
what do you consider she failed at?
"lost 900...."
Think about it. How is that her fault. In order for candidates to win people have to vote.
". She needed to do her job as it was supposed to have been done."
what timeframe is your reference point
"But Debbies role...."
I was really referencing all the years, not the most recent events
"personable"
he's also VERY qualified. Don't forget the VP has to be ready to step in if necessary.
I personally think Debbie is very sharp. I understand her frustration of people for years building the democratic party and Sanders jumping on for the ride at the end just to run for president. In our day to day life it's like the relative who introduces themself at the funeral in a room full of people who had taken care of the deceased for years just to claim a stake in the inheritance. At this point don't have a clue beyond that her involvement/lack of in the DNC emails controversy. Hillary doesn't throw solid performers under the bus. She's loyal to her supporters.
"do you think we're a dying breed?"
No because we are always changing as a country. Barack was the star of the day but because he has an individual contributor personality as compared to GW or Bill C his accomplishments will show up in history and to me made his presidency rather boring. If Hillary is a better communicator to the American people she'll bring interest back to politics. If she puts Kaine out there I think that will be a draw because he's very personable.
If you really study Hillary, I mean really study the details of her activities since college graduation it's difficult to find another person more qualified. Don't forget.....she was nose to nose with Barack.
and a political junkie I am!!
LOL how are you!
"I believe the coronation of Hillary started way before she declared she was running. "
yes it started in 2008
