art2gecko, thanks.
art, do you still have the link to the GWDL SEC filing on the reverse split? Thanks.
al330, art2gecko posted the link to the SEC filing. In the filing, it described the possibility of a 1:1000 reverse split in the next twelve months. I searched for the link, but, alas, I could not find it.
FRCP: Mach, what do you think of this one? I bought some a little while ago. Having served in the military (including the Middle East), I like the idea of armored vehicles. Here is the latest press release. Thanks.
Press Release for Force Protection Inc
Force Protection, Inc. Signs Contract with U.S. Army for 21 Buffalo Mine Protected Clearance Vehicles
6/3/2004 9:01:00 AM
CHARLESTON, S.C., Jun 3, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Force Protection, Inc. ( FRCP ) announced today that the U.S. Army has signed a contract to purchase 21 Buffalo Mine Protected Clearance Vehicles (MPCVs) from the company's Technical Solutions Group (TSG) subsidiary. The estimated value of this contract is $15.3 million with an initial release of $7.6 million. The balance of the contract is expected to be released by October 2004. In addition to the 21 Buffalo vehicles, the contract provides for the purchase of steel wheels, disc rollers and a wide range of spare parts. The estimated completion date of the contract is year-end 2004.
TSG has previously supplied the Army with 13 Buffalos. "We believe that the Buffalo is the finest vehicle of its kind in the world and the Army's purchase of additional Buffalos appears to corroborate this belief," said Michael Watts, Force Protection, Inc.'s CEO. "The repeat order demonstrates the success of the vehicles deployed in the Middle East."
Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina added, "Our men and women in uniform deserve the best equipment and training available. The Buffalo will help protect our soldiers from landmines and roadside bombs as they carry out their duties in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's an important vehicle helping our soldiers fulfill critical missions."
TSG's Buffalo is a highly advanced Mine Resistant Vehicle with multiple mission configurations and specially designed field reparability. TSG has combined a proprietary capsule design with American automotive expertise to produce a vehicle with superior blast protection, visibility, load carrying capacity, interior space and parts availability.
The unique technology of the Buffalo protects the vehicle and occupants against small arms fire, multiple anti-personnel mines and anti-tank mines. The steel wheels and disc rollers allow the Buffalo to be driven over and detonate anti-personnel mines without damage to the Buffalo. As a result, unusually large numbers of mines can be neutralized in a short period of time.
Mr. Brian Green, from the Office of Project Manager for Close Combat Systems, Countermine Division, stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va., said, "A recent incident, involving a Buffalo vehicle, saw it run over an anti-tank mine. The blast, from the detonation, tore off a wheel and destroyed an axle on the vehicle. There were no casualties to the crew inside the Buffalo. It drove itself out of the minefield, was repaired overnight and was back in operation the following day. This is precisely the result experienced with the Buffalo vehicle when we first tested it and now it is delivering those results under fire in both Afghanistan and Iraq. We just need more of them."

Nice Dilbert cartoon.
General question: When the bid and the ask prices are the same, is that a good thing, bad thing, or just means that the bid and ask prices are the same (i.e., means nothing)?
Thanks.
GWDL: I plan to give it a bit of a ride. Just to see what effect the new commercial and product have. I suppose they can use this (reverse split) if they need to, and if they don't need to, then they don't do it.
The SEC filing states that the reverse split will occur in the next twelve months. This may be a method to get many people to sell out and leave investors who are long on GWDL. Just my thoughts.
mex,
My apologies for not providing the link. Here it is.

Post #of 109
GWDL - 1 for 1000 Reverse Split ( sometime in the next 12 months)
Gee, nice and specific...
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1062760/000101540204002425/doc1.txt
"....- Effect a reverse split of our common stock on the basis of up to one post-consolidation share for each 1,000 pre-consolidation shares to occur at some time within 12 months of the date of this Information Statement, with the exact time of the reverse split to be determined by the board of directors...."
GWDL: Based on a link provided by Art2Gecko, I understand that GWDL will perform a 1 for 1000 reverse split in the next twelve months. I understand the corporate reasons for doing such, but what effect will that have on us? (still learning this financial stuff)
Sue, thanks. That did it.
Mach, thanks as well.
mex, I am either braindead or blind. I do not see an "Options" above the message. Must I become a paid member of IHub? Perhaps, that is the problem.
Mach, what is the e-mail list you are referring to?
gman, thanks.
What does it mean with there is an "E" added to the stock symbol?
Anyone understand why MSITF took a sharp downward turn?
Thanks. Must be something on my end.
Is anyone else having difficulty getting into the Ameritrade website? Thanks.
Ameritrade works quite well. I do not know about Etrade.
firefight4, thanks.
I am looking at investing in CDVJ. Any reasons for investing or not investing. Thanks.
the_unknown_factor, thanks.
Does anyone know anything about CDVJ? Is it worth investing in or not? Any information on this is appreciated. Thanks.
I understand. Thanks. See you tomorrow.
Sublime,
Why is that?
This is from Melvin's Corner on the CMKX boards (from Melvin). Don't know if someone has posted this here already. If so, my apologies for the re-posting.

Central Time Zone. Best of fortune to everyone today.
Thanks for the reply. I didn't know all of that. Have a great weekend.
Striper,
Cool beans. Understand.
Striper,
That sounds quite good. However, I have seen such information posted from third-party sources on many boards on many occasions. While a part of me would like to believe it, the sensible part of my brain does not.
This is not anything against you or your posting. I believe it is customary to have a posting such as this on each Friday. It gives us hope that next week is indeed that week we are waiting for.
This information (good or bad) will be officially released in due course. Until I read an official PR, I'm just waiting.
Best of fortune.
What other countries are involved with MSITF? I understand the China and Colombia are currently involved.
big_investor51,
My advise, if you want it, is to throw a $100 or so into it at 0.0001, and then go about your life for a while. Let it ride. If it goes up to 0.0003, leave it there. One would feel quite poorly if it went to 0.001. The downside is that it would go to 0.0003 and then back down to 0.0001. Well, that's not terrible. You may not have gained, but you certainly didn't lose.
The cliche advise "Buy low, sell high" is true, but the art of it is defining "low" and "high". Best of fortune to you.
Thanks. One cannot help but be excited about the possibilities of this stock. However, a dose of "this may not happen soon" is always advised. Many haved learned this lesson the hard way (including me). I am still learning the manners and methods of such business. I imagine I always will.
big_investor51,
You need thick skin to operate on this board. You may receive additional comments with your questions/statements. Take it with a grain of salt. Many of the investors you see here have been waiting on this stock to move (up) for quite some time now.
$700 to a student is not bad, but many of the investors here are banking on much, much larger amounts. Don't be discouraged. This board is one of the more polite ones you will find. Best of fortune to you.
Thanks. Be nice to see move (up that is).
Is that good or bad?
Any word on the latest from Sports Wheels?
Are there any updates for Nighthawk?
Any word on the approvals or the OTC BB listing?
Any news on KDMV?
Try Ameritrade. I've heard about Scott not allowing buys into CMKX, but only sells. Bought some CMKX on Monday at 0.0001. Best of fortune to you.
