Anaheim Convention Center

EON's booth was downstairs in the Sands Conv Center with the smaller booths, grouped with other Asian suppliers. Lots of foot traffic downstairs, but nothing like upstairs or over at the LasVegas Conv Center.
It's the sort of area people will skip if they run out of time. My FitBit said I walked 10 miles both Thur and Fri, so I would have skipped it except to see them.
Next month, I assume LQMT and Engel will both be at the Pacific Design Show in Anaheim, and I will report from there like I did last year.
Closer look shows Li's purchase into Liquidmetal under "Milestones" on one brochure, and the Liquidmetal Technologies logo on the back of the other.
Both tri-folds only said Liquidmorphium (tm) front-and-center.
Josh,
I was given two EON brochures. Looks similar to website info.
ProMetalTech not listed as an exhibitor.
"Liquidmorphium" was the only term used, no "Liquidmetal" signage. The lady in the booth said it is "the same". I questioned that. There were examples of cast amorphous products like phone structures and medical pieces. Things we've seen on their website. Nothing by injection molding. All by "a patented casting process on patented machines".
She did say they were excited about the Liquidmetal connection, but since she said Liquidmorphium was the same, not sure what to think about that.
I will follow up with her as I have her card.
I promise to post anything pertinent I learn regarding LQMT.
I am here, and will report what I learn. I didn't realize they were here. Massive show.
I can't find a connection to Eontec, but here is an announcement today of a new phone from a Chinese company with a French design studio:
http://phoneradar.com/hanmac-bon7-priced-usd-2000-companies-most-affordable-smartphone/
"The device is built out off patented Zirconium (liquid metal) alloy with 18K rose gold finish on the edges."
I agree. Been excited, and disappointed, many times before.
This feels different - we'll know soon I think.
2011 for me (first purchase at $0.38). Ave now at $0.12
We use the term "Bookings" also for orders placed by customers. That is good. However, they could be for next week, next Quarter, or even next year. They can even be canceled.
I'd love to see these LQMT "Bookings" become "Billings" in Q3, but there is nothing in Steipp's statement indicating a "Due Date".
Just found this to be funny. My Google Alert for "Liquidmetal" today included this:
Last Unicorn Wallpaper for Acer Liquid Metal.

I posted this earlier today. What I found interesting was this:
Out here in the minor metals thicket, we had had an inkling that something was happening because of a trickle of zirconium enquiries from as far afield as Japan, Germany, the USA, and France, all asking for peculiar quantities and specifications. In minor metals, this was not bush wire but a clarion call. When these enquiries turned to orders, it was becoming clear this alloy had become a commercial reality.
He is a metals dealer, and has experienced an increase in inquiries, and then orders, for zirconium. Doesn't mean it is actually "Liquidmetal", and could be another BMG, but to him in the metals business this was noteworthy.
Interesting article yesterday from a metals supplier.

Excerpt:
Finding its niche
While Liquidmetal was licensed to manufacturers which thought they might be able to harness its amazing properties, it was one of those inventions that, although quirky and interesting, never quite found its revolutionary niche. Even if it was enough to get this old metal merchant interested, it was not about to change the world, was it?
That was until now.

You've claimed to have had conversations before that were proven to not to have happened.
They were lifted with "poetic license" from a 10 year ild article.
Yes, that is how I proved your "poetic license" (or plagiarism) of a conversation you originally claimed to have with someone regarding Steipp.
Different people on different days, but I gained a belief that the Engel partnership has greatly expanded their capabilities.
Engel also had a separate booth, and they said there is a growing buzz about LQMT.
Guess you must be disappointed your comment is far from the truth. I was there in a booth nearby all three days, checked them often, and saw they usually had at least one person speaking with them.
I spoke with Them each day. I am very comfortable with my investment in LQMT.
My company had a booth 50 yards from them. I checked often, and most of the time they were engaged with an attendee or several.
Mine is .12
I think so.
Then why did you see the need to say this was told to you by a former Director?
Once the clock strikes 13, it brings all the other hours into question.
