I have to agree. Makes no sense to change things up now and jeopardize the progress that has been made, although if Kross gets his way we may see a quicker ROI from sale of the company (although at a potentially lower price than if we wait it out).
Thanks for sharing. No I assure you I am not bdn...although we are obviously kindred spirits. No I am not averaging down from $5.00. More like 0.22. I obviously like the company and like the space they are in. All of those "growth initiatives" are kicking in (as I knew they would) and there is a lot of room to run, so your delusional estimates are not delusional enough IMO. Your estimate of a buyout price is way too conservative given their innovative technology, partner/client list and how they could complement a big player in the energy efficiency space. $50M minimum.
I do agree there is complete apathy out there. Pretty sad.
So what is your take on the proxy fight and the reverse split and the job our current team has done? I have spoken with Kross...he has no plan in place and is not about to back off. If Kross succeeds, as many of the major shareholders think he will, I am super concerned about having investment bankers with no green tech experience controlling the board of directors. I agree they are grossly overpaid, but it seems totally idiotic to replace a majority of the board when things are finally falling into place. We have been waiting for this to happen, and now when it finally does, we replace our BOD?
Good luck to all of us.
Just "OK" with top line? LOL. And they pay themselves too much? I don't think so. But the bod is a different matter...we agree on something. Their pay is not commensurate with company revenues. Profits need to be re-invested back into the company for continued growth at this stage.
What is your deal? If you are long, why have you been so intent on criticizing the company and any bulls on this board? It's not exactly a great strategy for growing your investment, unless you are bashing for cheap shares which IMO is for losers.
What's your take on Q1?
Told ya so....$4.6M for Q1.
Highest Q1 revenues in history.
261% increase in Ecosmart revenues

Thanks. Very interesting. I expect lots more of these deals. Let's hope one of them is us soon.
With the stock precipitously up today (.1949), are you so worried about possible good news on Thur that you feel you must make these inane posts? LOL. Let's see what transpires on Thur and go from there.
I guess bdn and I are supposed to account for most of the volume, or lack thereof LOL. I've actually been picking up quite a few sub .19 shares, although missed out today.
So I spoke with Peter Kross. He made a good impression on me....came across as a down to earth, honest guy who simply wants to do what it takes to maximize shareholder value. He doesn't have any specific plan until he can get down to the nitty gritty details as a BOD member. My buddy has been friends with him for years (actually decades) and has nothing but great things to say about him. So I am keeping an open mind.
The earnings release announced for next week was quite a surprise and bodes well. I can't help but wonder if there are other reasons besides good numbers to announce earnings earlier than usual, but that might be wishful thinking.
Haven't looked at the chart in ages...I am guessing not much going on there?
The next two months may be very interesting!

Yes we seem to see eye to eye on all things Telkonet. I keep missing out on those stray .18 shares these past few days! I expect we will see action and price picking up soon.
You are definitely on the money there. I think we will be hearing that story over the next month :)
True....but word from other major shareholders who know Kross is that the proxy fight is a definite. It may be a bit premature, but I'm more than a little concerned about what may happen. My initial reaction to the Kross news was positive but now I'm not so sure, as I expect things are going to finally fall into place this year. There are a lot of impatient shareholders out there and we may be shortchanging ourselves if Kross gets elected.
Thanks. It was mentioned on the call but figured I'd post today's under the radar announcement for the sake of thoroughness.
Any thoughts on the proxy fight and our BOD? I am interested if anyone has realistic 20/20 hindsight on how things could have been done differently to bring about faster growth and more substantial revenues.
Telkonet announces series B warrants exercised. Exercise demonstrate significant confidence in company's execution and strategy.

It's microcapclub. Check it out. You can pay for a subscription, or submit an investment thesis on a stock pick and they vote if they want you in the club (this membership is free). Good info there although looks like they are turning a blind eye to our little gem!
Hey glad to see you are still around, but sorry I know nothing about the mechanics of the election process other than filing a proxy, and I have assumed it is a simple majority vote but maybe someone else on IHub knows more. What I do know is that Kross's camp thinks they will have enough votes, and that Jason is asking to hold off any voting until the Q1 call is done, which bodes well for revenues and other developments. I am far from convinced that election of Kross and his two cronies to the BOD will be in the shareholders' best interest, and want to see who else will be nominated, what their credentials are, and what they have to say. I sent you a little something through your mc2 account. I know that you, like many others, don't have much faith in management, but you might find it interesting.
New video
So have I! The Q1 earnings and call are going to be the catalyst we've been looking for since last fall IMO.
I have never understood the price action. There are a lot of impatient shareholders out there so any selling may just be that given the low volume. Doesn't matter to me much at this point because I am feeling fat and sassy and still buying these dips. I am very anxious to see what Kross has to say on the proxy. I am very patient for the strategic moves they've made to start paying off, so I'm not convinced at all that Kross is the answer but am keeping an open mind until more information is available.
I think your style and vocabulary are better suited for Yahoo....you won't get your posts deleted there.
Patience will be rewarded here in spades as all their strategy finally starts to pay off. Q1 is going to be an eye opener for a lot of folks and I am counting the days till then....and buying in the meantime. Loving these .18 and .19 shares. I am far from convinced that Kross will be good for this company or its shareholders and am awaiting more information with an open mind.
I see it was tweeted today but the link doesn't access the entire list. Any idea what rank they are and what revenue growth was listed?
Wonder when we will get proxy info from Kross.
I thought Canaccord was Canadian.
Hey we agree on something!
Agree. But it's all about the future. I expect the developments this past year to start paying off, starting with Q1.
I do LOL. But it's all a wash - you'd get 1/5 the shares each valued at 5x the original price with a 5 to 1 split, so it doesn't matter.
Absolutely. If we don't get sold first.
We win when we get off the monkey exchange and get exposure to an entirely different level of investors.
I'm on the fence now. Being told he is a total bulldog with an impressive track record as an activist investor, but I really like what Telkonet has done this past year. Yeah revenues have lagged pathetically behind expectations but I have no idea what could have been done better. One of my concerns with Kross is the company could be sold prematurely to the first buyer who comes along. A lot depends on who the three nominees are and what ties they may have to the industry or a potential buyer. I say something big is going to happen this year...revenues (and share price) finally jump up and stay up, we r/s and uplist later this year, or we get bought at any time. All a win for us.
Telkonet proxy statement contested solicitations published. Kross is pushing for a majority on the BOD with THREE nominees.

There is a lot of pretty heavy duty info on that site! UtilityDIVE.com, right?
Do you work in the energy or green tech industries at all?
You were absolutely correct on the call quote for an "impressive" Q1!
Thanks. Your comments are always appreciated. I expect we will bounce around .20 for awhile but hopefully see some gains as we get closer to Q1 numbers in May - which isn't too far away - or hopefully we get good news of some sort in the meantime. Any thoughts on the Canaccord PR? I can't see any realistic downside to it.
Hi S,
VeraLynn says shorting will not be a factor in our share price:
"-the short isn't naked, I'm sure they have a locate, so there will be no squeeze. It will not "factor in to the share price in a big way" ever"
It's an area I really have very limited knowledge of but would like to learn more. I don't want to drag you into the mud but in light of previous posts I am hoping for any comments on the short position if you don't mind sharing. I always value your insight.
"Simmer down"? If I'm going to be insulted I want it done using proper vocabulary at least LOL. He fired the first shot so I shot back. Im very weary of the personal attacks just because of differences in opinions.
Which by the way I don't even own pom poms. I just believe this all going to finally come together in the coming months after a very long time waiting.
We can argue all day and you can recite the prior numbers ad nauseum but there is good stuff in the works that has not shown up in revenues yet. Only time will tell who is right. But it's me
Thanks BDN. Did I hear Jason correctly that he said Q1 was going to be GOOD??!! 45 days... The clock is ticking!
Definitely disagree on many - but not all - points but appreciate your (mostly) non-offensive candor.
Jason was pretty soft spoken so I think that was part of the poor audio quality. He was definitely toned down from previous calls. As for reading from a script, I think you are nitpicking. I don't mind it. I am a successful business professional and I much prefer to use written communication to better convey my thoughts. And there is no script for Q&A, which I agree was very disappointing. However, there WAS value in the call, if for nothing else to hear Mr. Stark, who was definitely more engaging the Mushmush ever was, AND to find out they are using a PR firm to market their product.
And...if you don't like the calls, then don't listen!
Regarding news releases, there is no conspiracy as you exaggerated, but it it pretty sad that I can get their PR's more quickly with a Google search. Been many instances I've gotten news hours before other shareholders - both friends with major positions in the company and other message board members.
If you have been in since IBridge, then you know how tenuous their situation was years ago and how far they've come. State sales tax liability - gone. Maryland lease - gone. Ongoing concern - gone. Finally!
I won't argue they have not been able to scale the business and attain the revenues I thought they would by now, which has obviously been hugely disappointing. But really the most important material developments (Trane, Samsung, Carrier) have nearly all occurred just in the past 10 months or so. That is going to take a little time to show up in revenues. And at $1 per room per month, the recurring revenue model of EcoCare does have value...they get a couple hundred thousand rooms subscribed to EcoCare and that is icing on the cake. I remain hugely optimistic and think this is THE YEAR. There are lots of irons in the fire. We've come this far, so I remain more patient than ever now.
As for Kross, I am happy to see him shake things up, and shake things up he will. I think we win either way. Canaccord is engaged and my guess is Jason and company are accelerating the process before Kross gets on the BOD...and he WILL get on the BOD and then the company will be sold in short order.
My take is they sell the company, quite possibly this summer. My reading between the lines of the Canaccord PR was that they have an offer(s) on the table and are trying to decide to sell vs. proceed with uplisting and RS. And as for value, I strongly disagree with your $25-30M pricetag. How much revenue was Nest generating when it got bought for $3.2B???!!! How about SmartThings bought by Samsung? I am not saying Telkonet's value is anywhere near that of Nest, although I believe they have a better product and they ARE best in class. If you disagree they are, then please tell me who IS best in class.
And...almost forgot...as mentioned on this board many times previously, there is a gigantic short position on Telkonet relative to its trading volume. At some point, that is going to factor in to the share price in a big way. There will be a short squeeze at some point this year. IMO. I am still buying.
FYI "Dribble" is what you do with a basketball. "Drivel" is nonsense. You really don't sound BA when you have can't even get your insults right. LOL.
Going concern clause is GONE!!!!
I think we will see some buying soon… That is often how this stock works. An initial morning dip on news and then buying later but I may be wrong. I would love to take out all 80,000 at .205 but my wife tells me I own enough already…
Agreed. News is not reaching the right people in a timely manner. I rely completely on Google. The sellers today are crazy.
I agree wholeheartedly. I'm thinking anywhere between .50 - 1.00 myself. There are so many potential buyers out there. In my mind Samsung would make the most sense given their interest in the hospitality industry and IOT.
I'm sure the bears will go to town on the Q4 numbers and say that Telkonet can't be sold for more than its current share price if they're lucky but I believe that is pure BS. Me thinks they have offers on the table.
