This bird has been waiting 10 years for this day.
Me too....it was always "next quarter". But 8 months isn't a very long time to find a buyer and put together a deal, at least without fire sale pricing imo. They did well with Ethostream. I'm still a believer. Although my cost is way less than .43 because I've averaged down, so that helps with the faith, although in the early days I bought quite a few shares over .43.
Hiya Mike,
I'm still here, kinda like groundhog day. Is TKOI getting finally getting some love over at MC2? If not, it should. If you haven't done so, check out the last call.
Geesh is everyone asleep at the wheel here??? We are up a good 30% in the past 2-3 weeks following probably the best TKOI call I've listened to in the past 10 years, and this board is DOA and Google turns up nada on Telkonet.
IF YOU READ THIS POST, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND EITHER LISTEN TO THE LAST CALL OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT OF THE CALL!
I'm told the chart is looking gorgeous although I've been in this for the long haul...like 10 years of long haul and gobs of shares purchased with zero sold. Conviction and lots of patience are paying off.
According to numbers from OTCMarkets and Shortsqueeze, we have a 40% drop in shorted shares since December 18, 2018. Currently 1,752,200 - down from 2,953,054 in December.
I believe they primarily hired Roth to sell the company. Remember what they got for Ethostream (without Roth I think?)....way more than I ever expected. I'd recommend re-listening to the call or read the transcript on seeking alpha. Really sounds like something is in the works and we will find out before the shareholder's meeting.
At this point I think a reverse split would be a total disaster and management knows it. TKOI would be an easy and cheap acquisition for JCI, UTX, IR or a hundred other IoT companies. Per Jason we will find out more details on the May 15th call. Not so sure we will find out anything on the proxy...but that we will find out soon enough!
Proxies to begin mailing April 12 as per IR at Telkonet.
Any life out there? Listen to Monday's conference call. Expecting we will be voting on a sale to JCI, IR or UTX next month. Finally.
And let us not forget the sale of Ethostream last year for 12.8M, which I believe was well above what most expected.
Amen brother. I've been waiting an awfully long time and do believe time is drawing near. It's been two months since the Roth announcement...
How's the chart looking, about the same? Hoping we have a catalyst coming on Monday!
It should be a catalyst although I expected the Ethostream sale to move this a whole lot more than it did. But I remain 100% convinced it's just a matter of time. And glad to see somebody else out there also sees what is hiding in plain sight! Getting compared to Nest and Lyric FINALLY.
Have to wonder...I'm guessing odds are good this is TKOI's work. Made for residential AND commercial use. Hopefully find out next week.

Hey Mike,
Good to hear from you. I'm just as convinced as ever especially after Ethostream sold and am optimistic about what's in store next Monday. They're releasing a day early which is a first. But I also won't be surprised it it doesn't move much and one day out of the blue we find out they've been bought!
Glad to hear it. I imagine the recent insider buying helped the chart. I just continue to hold and wait for either a sale of the company or big news, so I haven't even looked at the chart for a long time. I hope we will get news either before or immediately after next month's Q2 results. If you haven't listened to the last call, you should. Our CEO tends to be overly optimistic so I've learned to take what he says with a grain of salt, but this last call was perhaps the most promising call I've listened to yet...sounded very much like they have groundbreaking project(s) in the works. I expect a partnership with someone in the residential market.
BOD buying more - in large volumes. Best sign in a long time.
...sooo, if I were to have asked you a week ago what you thought Ethostream was worth, what would have been your answer? I have a feeling it would have been far, far less than $12.75M. I think it's a safe bet that if Telkonet were to be sold tomorrow to JCI, UTX, IR, etc (which is the plan), it would fetch plenty more than $10M, losing $1M a quarter or not.
$11M cash in the bank is going to be a huge boon for them. This is the biggest positive development in the history of TKOI.
Amazing is right!
$12.75M and we're selling at .17 with a market cap of $22M? Amazing.
So how much did Ethostream sell for, that is the question. Hope to get more details tomorrow. Finally a major positive development after a long dry spell!
Thanks S. I've had my fill of supercilious A holes and engaging with them is pointless. Looks like the recent buyer(s) took a break today. We've been holding nicely but I am not expecting much unless/until we get some major news. As you know I had low expectations for Q2 but I think Q3 will be more in line with what we want, so I'm thinking we don't move much until then, unless someone gets wind of the company getting sold or other major news breaks and then we may see a breakout of epic proportions :) as the shorts get squeezed. Kross apparently has a track record of getting companies sold quickly, and from what I've been told he is very motivated to get this company sold and move on. Could be any day...that'd be a nice surprise to wake up to some morning. If I had to guess I'd say it happens later this fall but who knows. I have my shares and remain content to wait it out at this point.

While the last few years have seen the rise of smart thermostats to augment energy efficiency, the next couple will see the elimination of thermostats altogether. That is, why have a separate wall-mounted device when such functionality can be easily controlled via your television and universal remote control. Not only has Telkonet developed a fluid software interface for a smartscreen near you, but all preferences are also saved and added to that guest’s profile, meaning that those exact conditions can be instantly replicated for any future stay and deployed well in advance of the customer’s arrival onsite.

Amazon Echo & Honeywell bring voice control to your connected home
Got this email today. We have both products in our home. Shows how innovative our little company is...let's just hope we can capitalize on the opportunities out there.
"Life just got smarter
We've got big news for you. Amazon Echo can now control your Honeywell Total Connect Comfort Thermostat. Use Alexa, the voice service that powers Amazon Echo, to set the perfect temperature in your home by voice command. Simply say "Alexa, set my temperature to 72 degrees" and enjoy your home's comfort without having to lift a finger. Are you ready to bring the future to your home?"
Got it. Let's hope we have reason to do some dabbing this year.
I think Kross is going to win handily. Let's hope we get a pop out of the news and might even make the shorts nervous. Probably all wishful thinking though.
Little Dabbie???
Hey welcome back! I think the news itself could actually be a positive for the share price, at least in the short term but long term I'm much less confident. The man is very capable and successful, but what bothers me is having three money managers, none with industry experience in green tech and no real plan, overseeing this company that is just starting to hit its stride. What the current BOD has done is working, why change now? I would've been much more amenable to just Kross joining the BOD but I have a big problem with his plan to have the company reimburse his legal expenses. I was actually planning to vote for him (minus the other two nominees) to help get some new blood on the BOD but changed my mind after learning of his intentions with his legal fees. Plus I worry about this company being sold prematurely. They are already actively pursuing being acquired through Cannacord (Bill Davis told me this himself) so I just don't see what value Kross's team brings to the table. My opinion is if one still wants a change, vote only for Kross and not the other two nominees so they don't have majority control.
Here's some "hype" for you. Kross is going to have Telkonet pay his $250,000 in legal expenses if he successfully gains control of the BOD. I learned that directly from both Bill Davis and Jason Tienor. I guess that's just the price to pay for unproven leadership and vague plans to maximize shareholder value.
I presume njfone that you are both ninofernandez and ninofern on Yahoo...two other aliases in addition to njfone. You know, the one who acts like a high school bully and who posted that I was "closed off" of InvestorsHub and that the Company needs "oversight not tech experience" on the board. Three bankers running a green tech company...sounds like a bad joke because it is. I guess I missed learning something somewhere along the line and should have hired a banker to run my own company. What BS. I also recall ninofernandez being the one kicked off of this board.
I can see this board has been just a wealth of information and productive discussion over the past few weeks.
Yes it is your opinion but I don't recall asking for it...the post was a message to Joey who seemed to share some of my own 'conspiracy' views (although maybe he was in it just for the trade and is gone). Here is an opinion of mine....you come across as arrogant and disrespectful. And so far your own opinions haven't exactly been on the money...or should I say 'dead money', as you have repeatedly used this term to incorrectly describe this investment. I have ample opportunity to watch the price action of this stock - more than I should, I admit, but not "every minute of every day" as you exaggerated - and I am 100% convinced there is price manipulation occurring on a regular basis. The most obvious being the small sells of 100-500 shares made regularly when there there is a large gap (sometimes there are similar eod buys but much less often). Is it market makers, shorts, or longs looking for a cheaper share price I do not know. And yes it gets my goat. And I am not the only one to notice it, both on this message board and amongst my shareholder friends one of whom is a professional analyst. It is common knowledge that there is huge short interest in this stock, which you have stated will never factor into the share price. Time will tell if you are incorrect here as well.
Get your facts straight before posting deragotory, exaggerating comments. I don't shout 'buy-out' every time the price goes up, nor 'conspiracy' every time it goes down, and I regularly post links to information of interest. I probably have more faith in Jason than anyone else out there with the exception of BDN. This is a message board, and yes you are correct that no knowledgeable investor is going to make their investment decision based on anonymous posts, which is why you need to take a dose of your own advice and chill. Be respectful of others who have different opinions. I value differing opinions if not expressed in a sarcastic or hostile manner. You obviously have more than a junior high education, so maybe start acting like it.
A smidgen of humility would serve you well.
What do you think of this action today Joey? I guess it could be profit taking but based on history looks to me more like somebody is up to their old tricks and trying to put the brakes on it.
In the right spot at the right time...

I'll settle for linear right now but me thinks we will see parabolic sometime this year. Things are going to get real interesting between now and late next month with both the Hitec conference and the shareholder meeting. Q2 results in Aug seem an eternity away!
Hello .23! Nice to see you again!!!
No anomaly but a harbinger of revenues to come. I expect Q2 >$5M.
Amen brother! Glad to have you here. You and I are going to get along just fine...and even njfone seems to like you LOL. This is a turnaround story of a growing company in the right place at the right time and your comments are spot on. Our former chartist pulled the plug just before the Q1 release so it's good to have a chartist posting again.
Believe me I hope you're right but based on history I'm not expecting a squeeze till the upper 20's or the low 30s unless a catalyst comes along.
Do you know how Telkonet ranks at shortsqueeze?
Fair enough. I'd be happy to follow your articles on seeking alpha too if you can point me to them. My point was that I am not the only "touter". Based on the past week's action, and especially today - up nearly 7% on solid volume - there are obviously others who see value in this company. Maybe you should sell now, because based on Vera's assessment of efficient market pricing of TKOI which you liked so much, this stock is now tremendously overvalued at .2298! Vera predicted dead money for another year....still think she is correct? The Hitec conference next month will be another catalyst for this stock when they introduce their voice controls and whatever other announcements they have up their sleeve. Jason mentioned on the call that this year's Hitec announcements would be even bigger than last year, which is hard to beat!
This company was practically dead in the water 5 or 6 years ago, but was revived and is now thriving, doing deals with giants in the technology and HVAC industries and expanding into new markets. Their innovation is simply outstanding. The fact that they have accomplished what they have is reason enough to tout them. Yes it's been slow going and downright maddening at times, but they had a mountain to climb and nobody said it would be easy. The revenues we all want are coming, which I hope is becoming obvious to all after the Q1 numbers. I really don't give a flying leap what has happened in the past, because the future is what stock picking is all about.
As for my previous predictions of share price, the chart last year was setting up beautifully for a breakout, and I was not the only one who thought $1 was possible. And I still believe it is possible with the right catalyst triggering a breakout and a short squeeze, which is just a matter of time IMO. If you look back at the chart, it shot up from .20 to .72 in two weeks time in 2009 with NO news whatsoever, which occurred just after I bought my first shares.
I used to stay up at night worrying about how much money I was going to lose on TKOI, and now I stay awake thinking about how much money I may make on TKOI. LOL! I am actually glad it has taken this long because it has enabled me to build a pretty hefty position, enough to warrant a call from Peter Kross and get prompt email replies from the CEO on my questions. I really hate to see others give up. I know of a couple investors now who grew impatient and recently got out and now of course regret it. Patience and conviction will be rewarded!
Totally missed the date on that and assumed it was current. My bad. Strange they quoted such an old report in there. Still a great endorsement by Trane.
Yes! This is the stock that loves to disappoint but one of these days we are going to hit the payoff in a big way. The shorts hung tight last year all the way to .28 so I'm guessing we will have to get at least that high again before covering would start, but that also depends on other developments that may occur. One potential catalyst coming next month will be at least two announcements to be made at the annual Hitec conference, one of which is the introduction of voice control. Thanks for posting.

Great endorsement by Trane.
From that article...
"In the November 2011 report, “Low Cost Building Automation System for Small-and-Medium-Sized Commercial Buildings,” Srinivas Katipamula, Ph.D., of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, stated that only 10 to 15 percent of the commercial buildings in the U.S. have building automation systems. And, most of the buildings are over 100,000 square feet in size."
There is enormous market potential for energy efficiency automation as the IoT era takes off!
So are you this mean spirited and hostile to everyone you disagree with in your life? It's a common trait amongst the bears on these message boards it seems. How many posts have you had deleted for personal attacks? Why don't you go pick a fight with Joe Springer too because he happens to like this company about as much as me and BDN LOL. This company has come a really really long ways in the past three years or so due to brilliant strategic moves and leadership and it has an extraordinarily bright future. People like you just don't seem to comprehend this. Assuming you are truly long, don't you have something more productive to do than bash one of your own investments? LOL!!! Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. We obviously are not going to change each other's minds so how bout losing the attitude?
