All the major banks have HK offices, the largest is probably HSBC but there are hundreds to choose from.
The US equity market will close early on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 1 p.m. (ET).
Looks to me that the MM's are up to their old tricks. They make buyers pay the highest price possible and squeeze the sellers into much lower prices. Right now, there is plenty of stock available if you want to pay higher prices, but the MM's aren't interested in buying. Bid size of 100, ask size of 2400, for example.
The economies of countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Venezuela are all dependent on the price of oil to be high to meet their budgets. They have a choice, produce more to replace the lost revenue or stop producing to limit the world supply. Since the world is in oversupply at the moment, they are now between the rock and the hard place. If they stop producing, they risk other countries increasing production to make up the shortfall, so no one is lowering production at this time. The only time they will stop selling more oil is when it costs more to produce it than they will get when it sells. In other words, the US and Canada control world oil prices at the moment. Obama will probably say sorry and make the US stop producing.
Scottrade just posted the change to SIAFD so trading can resume there.
NITE gets the most business because it consolidates trades from hundreds of different brokers and traders. It is highly doubtful that any one individual is behind all the trading we see each day. For instance, if four Swedes use their in country broker, that broker would forward the trade data to NITE for execution. That execution would consolidate those four trades into one market order for the total amount of shares.
I agree. EC would have to push S into the RS. However, they most likely have clients/instis lined up for future buy-ins. Hard to market a microcap with a low share price regardless of profitability.
It looks like 10 for 1 RS. That would make the value at around $7 per share.
The dates of the Mardi Gras celebrations change from year to year depending on the Easter calendar. They fall into a two week period sometime from late January to early March every year.
Hyperboy
Mardi Gras in 2015 will be celebrated in New Orleans between Feb 6 and Feb 17. Plan accordingly, hotel rooms will probably not be available during those dates. I live a 2 hour drive from there and would definitely attend

I agree, this drop in price is related to year end trading and profit taking. Prepare for a big rally in January.
I think the low volume is a reaction to the notion that the dual listing announcement is going to happen soon. It has driven the speculators to the sideline.
The company is presenting at another investor conference in LA on Thursday.

They do if they want the business. Just imagine how much they make if they do 100k of trades like that.
Those trades make perfect sense if you look at them as individual retail trades that the MM completed for different accounts.
They need consistency with their branding. They shouldn't jump between blue and natural and green and natural.
Maybe they need a disclaimer on the site. We know food, not web site design and marketing.
Yes, it looks like since others reject it, it can't be good.
How to break that trend is the problem to be solved.
I can just imagine the types of PR you want to see.
The weekly slaughter.
Number of hay bales in storage.
Prawns produced in new tank.
Shoppers prefer beef to mutton.
How about just letting the news cycle take care of itself and have some patience.
Self-fulfilling prophecy. Some new person looks at the stock and says to themselves it looks undervalued, then they start looking for the reason. Since we know the dilution is the reason, we are sure of the other numbers, but the outsider doesn't know this so walks away saying there has to be a problem, but I don't see what it is. They say other people must know the problem, but I don't want to take a chances.
The solution, of course, is to keep posting outstanding results quarter after quarter. Sort of like beating them over the head with a 2 X 4 until they get the message.
Oysters?
Not sure they can be farm raised, they grow in salt water. However, if they can be raised in tanks, there could be a lot of benefits. In the ocean raised oyster beds, they are suspended in baskets. These have to be checked regularly for the growth of algae and disease. Also, crabs seek them out as a food source. Indoor farming would eliminate a lot of problems and increase the yield and also decrease labor costs. They wholesale for between $.75 and $1.00 each but the big money comes via ecommerce where a retail price could be sought. Probably worth taking a hard look at this crop.
Special trading hours on Friday for the stock market.
The equity market will close early on Friday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. (ET).
Plan your afternoon for something else.
Lots of advantages to raising goats.
Not picky eaters, almost anything will do nicely.
Adaptable to bad terrain, good climbers.
Also used to make cheese.
The difference between regular Aussie beef and premium beef is the feed. Premium is 100% grass fed, regular uses a grain based diet like corn. You really can't take a young cow that was raised on grain and convert it to grass for the end fattening and get premium. They have to feed on the grass the whole lifespan. Also, it takes slightly longer to fatten a grass fed steer, that's why they changed to grain, even though the quality and taste is inferior.
As I mentioned once before, the e-marketing could very likely mimic the Omaha Beef company. In case anyone doesn't know what they offer, they package several different cuts of frozen steak, pork chops, etc in a Styrofoam cooler under dry ice. It is delivered to your door by UPS or other carrier. Mostly given as gifts or for a party.
Quote from the recent earnings pr.
"Enping City Bi Tao A Power Prawn Culture Development Co., Ltd. ("EBAPCD" or "Prawn Farm 1")
During Q3 2014, the Company completed construction of additional A Power Module ("APM") tanks, bringing the total to 12 tanks. Currently, the Company is installing all filters and other equipment, targeting to start production during Q4.
The Company also targets commencing construction of an adjacent hydroponic farm during Q4. Once completed, it will be the first symbiotic aquaculture/hydroponic farm in China, possibly the world.
Zhongshan A Power Prawn Culture Farms Development Co. Ltd. ("ZSAPP" or "Prawn Farm 2"):
During the quarter, the Prawn Farm 2 completed six semi-enclosed dams, and is operating 12 other semi-RAS outdoor grow-out dams producing prawns, eels, and fish. Prawn Farm 2 has sources of salt water nearby, facilitating proper conditions for Mexican White and Grass prawns. During the quarter the Company harvested over 30 metric tons of these two varieties of prawns."
Fishery division will have an increase in revenue and profits in Q4 due to more tanks available starting in Sept.
Fertilizer will be up due to farmers stocking up for the spring planting season.
Wholesale will be up due to the new Shanghai center as well as more Tesco outlets.
Another view of predictions.
The mj business won't produce anything for at least 2 to 3 years.
Tea extract sales will ramp up over 2015.
Lemon extract business will ramp up in late 2015.
Viagra business won't show any results until late 2015.
In other words, they are in a race to see if they make enough money to survive until all the possible products are in the pipeline.
My thoughts about this staffing question.
One of the ways to maximize the value to the company with a dual listing would be to create a standalone European operation that would be owned 60% by SIAF and 40% by new shareholders. This would be set up like an IPO. The business operation would be import/export of seafood (prawns to Europe and fish to China). The benefits would be a cash infusion to the subsidiary and a guaranteed market for the mega farm exports.
SIAF should investigate the possibility of converting the HU plantation to the production of cocoa. Several factors are causing the price of chocolate to skyrocket. A worldwide demand that exceeds production and the fact that 60% of the world's cocoa is farmed in West Africa in the ebola areas are major factors in the price increase. Maybe stocking up a few chocolate bars wouldn't be a bad investment.
Prawn farm 1 looks like it will be a test of a combination aquaculture/hydroponic farm in preparation for upscaling the operation for the mega farm.
The company made a presentation at a small cap investor conference today in NYC sponsored by Drexel Hamilton. The rise in price today directly corresponds to the finish of the presentation.
The "herd" is usually the dumbest, so everyone gets my vote.
All mutual funds have to report their holdings quarterly. In the period after the close of the quarter until the close of the next quarter, most funds hold anything they think will make them money. All they have to do is sell the complete holding before they file their next report. Only their own BOD will know that they are trading in stocks that are supposedly not allowed. I doubt there would be any complaint if the trades are profitable.
The question about the Australian cattle boils down to one factor: quality. Is what is being imported for Mickey D or is it for 5 star restaurants?
My prediction:
$1.50 by December.
Announcing a new JV project for another cattle farm, mostly combining existing small farms into a managed larger operation in partnership with local govt. Tip-off for this was the visit of the local govt official last summer.
New financing, possible loan.
EC announcement.
Two or three of the other listed expectations but not all of them.
A few quarters ago, during one of the CC's, it was mentioned that the results also have to be submitted for review to the Chinese govt which slowed down the process.

NJM, if I was going to paint the tape like today, I would place a limit order with just a few minutes of trading time left in the day to buy 100,000 shares (or less) at a limit price of something like $.99 without any qualifiers like all or nothing. An order like that would vacuum up all the shares listed on the Ask list up to the amount specified. Only a computer would be able to withdraw any phantom Ask quotes in time to avoid being caught up in the deal. I might not get the total of the order before trading for the day ended, buy a lot of it would get a fill.

Moving forward, I only see a major risk factor that the company has to take into consideration. Employee screw ups! They must stay away from scandalous food handling, accounting errors, and other employee behavior that reflects unfavorably for the company.
