OK I follow you. What I look down on is to totally dismiss any history of Saleen as being irrelevant to anything about SLNN. To say that Saleens history is meaningless is a huge stretch.
Sometimes common sense speaks for itself. The history of any company or relationship does have a place in the present and future. Life 101.
We are just having a conversation. It is the history of Saleen that there is any interest in SLNN.
You are right. It should have been written like this.
"A race-tuned edition of the Saleen S7 went on to win 78 races, including 10 championships and the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans. These were privately owned race teams that Steve had nothing to do with other than that these race-tuned edition of the Saleen S7's were built entirely by the Saleen Company from initial design concepts to finished production and sale."
In March 2014, Saleen entered into an agreement with GreenTech Automotive, Inc. for distribution of the entire line of Saleen vehicles in China, which is the largest national market globally for car sales. The Company is also working to open Saleen retail stores in the U.S. for the sale, installation, and demonstration of its performance parts and vehicles.
Saleen holds a competitive advantage in rapidly bringing new automotive products to market versus other specialty car companies in part due to its experience in certifying vehicles for sale through Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet dealers. This can be a complex process due to federal safety and emissions laws and evolving fuel efficiency standards.
Saleen Automotive, Inc. Company Description: (“Saleen” or “the Company”) designs and manufactures mass customized American sports cars, supercars, and race cars. The Company has also recently entered the electric vehicle (EV) market. Saleen’s primary product line entails high- performance cars built from the base chassis of Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros, and Dodge Challengers, with an expected summer 2014 launch of a Saleen EV built on the chassis of Consumer Reports’ 2014 car of the year, the Tesla Model S. The Company also plans to launch a new supercar within the next two years to compete against exotic imports. Saleen’s first supercar, the Saleen S7, was built entirely by the Company from initial design concepts to finished production and sale within nine months, and a race-tuned edition went on to win 78 races, including 10 championships and the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It's an absolute leap for you to say that it is not possible
"that more people are involved because the volumes are bigger"
Fisker engineers expressed concerns that the software wasn't ready, people familiar with the situation say. Still, the Karma went out to customers.
Some facts and speculation about Fisker. I omitted the technical issues because those have been stated numerous times on this board. In May 2011, the Obama administration, under pressure from critics of its alternative energy spending and after the high-profile failure of U.S.-backed solar panel maker Solyndra LLC, froze disbursements to Fisker citing delays in the Karma's rollout.
In 2009, Fisker applied for a $169 million loan from the Department of Energy, which had established a $25 billion fund to support the production of clean-energy vehicles. Sensing an opportunity to boost the industry in a time of rising gas prices, the DOE actually granted them $529 million, in the hopes of pushing the experimental car to the market sooner. They bought an abandoned General Motors plant in Delaware and made plans to manufacture a cheaper model in the U.S. (The company was headquartered in California, but built the Karma in Finland.)
The Wall Street Journal paints the story as one about the government asking too much too soon, and pressuring a small-scale auto startup to make promises it couldn't deliver.
Many people are now saying the Fisker project was doomed from the start, but did it have to be? After all, the government isn't the only one losing money here. Fisker had plenty of big time venture capitalists eager to invest. (They became even more eager after the DOE became a partner.) If Fisker were a normal startup, and not one being counted to revolutionize carmaking, it would probably not have been expected to go from clay models to working production vehicles in three years. Tesla Motors, which has also received millions in government loans, had a five-year head start.
Pulling the plug on Fisker—and when trouble was at hand—virtually ensured that the problems would never get fixed. The government froze the remaining disbursements of $329 million of the granted loan which kept Fisker unable to fix its technical issues with its Fisker Karma.
The 60 pages summary you are referring to was ordered by Saleen please read the disclosure. It doesn't mention any of Saleen's problems and god knows they are plenty, until the disclosure.
If Sven was in charge of engineering, and engineering was a major fault and cause behind the Fisker BK, well the finger does kinda point to Sven right?
Sure I know that. Did you know that Sven's last company, Fisker Automotive, went bankrupted after a ton of recalls due to poor engineering and manufacturing. Engineering he was in charge of.
Correction; You just did compare Saleen to Ferrari or McLaren.
I admit it seems a little over enthusiastic. But he was there, he obviously knows the history of the performance enhancements that Saleen has accomplished and Nicholas Zart has high expectations as many do knowing what Saleen is capable of.
Nicolas Zart of Teslaratti obviously has a deep appreciation for EV's and the Saleen brand. Calling his comments ludicrous is up to you. The Saleen Tesla is happening. Updated news on its way. With real photos and stats. JMHO
Nicolas Zart of Teslaratti wrote this about the Saleen Tesla. "We can only say we are on pins and needles waiting for the final version of the Saleen Tesla Model S to be made public. It will reveal how far the Model S engineered platform can be pushed and we think it will surprise many. In the meantime we’re counting our lucky stars for having caught a glimpse of this incredible moment in EV history, when Saleen turned his attention to electric cars."
There is absolute evidence that there are shortsellers on this board and SLNN is their victim along with the shareholders of SLNN.
I stand corrected.

Finally a post worth reading. Best information available about this board. Thanks. Proof that SLNN is being shorted.
You just proved my point. Thank you very much. Maybe one factual statement in your last response.
Thanks for your input. I am in full agreement with you. My issue is that I am not in agreement with those that are trying to convince everyone that SLNN is a pump-and-dump stock scheme. People can criticized Saleens leadership all they want. He is doing his best to build this company. Ineffectively so far.
What campaign are you talking about?
If there is no shorting of SLNN then there is another way of financial gains by SLNN going down. Is there a payout of some kind? The financial gains when SLNN goes down interests me. How much has been made from the campaign against SLNN?
No evidence of Del Franco Partners liquidating shares. You are outside of the facts with your comments like I said.
The comments about Saleen Automotive, outside of the facts, is all the evidence I need.
Your information is totally wrong. It is absolutely legal and possible to short SLNN in this country. Stick with the facts. Saleen is not going bankrupt anytime soon.
The short holders are making it big right now. Congrats. Keep up the campaign. Saleen is not folding anytime soon. But you already knew that.
Wow. I did not know that about iHub.
I am hesitant to again post what you are asking of me due to the fact that those who are critical of Saleen's PR have been over the top with their personal opinions about Steve Saleen and have many freedoms here. I have stated many times what has me encouraged about Saleen in my past posts.
Do those who are critical of Saleen's PR hold any position in SLNN stock? I am long on SLNN. I believe that things are progressing very well. I know all about what the 10k says.
What we are saying is that Saleen's use of them is weak.

Thank you for your words of wisdom. I agree 100%.
SLNN Saleen Automotive Inc. "caters to a worldwide legion of Saleen enthusiasts who are connected by the brand; They share a common reverence for the product, a common passion for performance and a common desire to share experiences with like-minded people." Steve Saleen "has developed a state-of-the-art modular manufacturing facility that allows for various vehicle programs to take place concurrently. Competencies learned from Saleen’s own niche vehicle development and manufacturing processes have set the industry standard, paving the way for Saleen to help develop and streamline products for other OEM manufacturers. Since the company’s inception in 1984, Saleen has produced over 12,000 complete and EPA-certified vehicles, more than any other specialty automobile manufacturer. Saleen has equipped more than 600,000 total vehicles worldwide." These are the facts not fabrications. Thanks MG for your input.
Thanks for your accusations about Steve Saleen. I just don't understand why.
