I think Israel and ZN being open about a find right now depends on what they've found.
If MJ2 shows something of a 350' oil layer [as reported on the not too distant Golan in 2015], I think they'd wait before speaking about it.
That's On land, in Israel.
That seems to be the plausible dynamic, IMHO, rather than informing everyone of it.
Hot neighborhood; a lotta angst making itself known.
Even a 50', or 75', or 35' layer on land, in Israel changes the dynamic definitively.
Pure speculation.
We'll see.

Yep, same here.
Time to break out sombreros, guitars, and trumpets mi amigo...!
Yes, good observation Cooldeliosis.
Bringing him in at this point is interesting, almost striking, if nothing but testing is going on, and or if they know the testing does not look promising.
Opposite side of that, could be something prior being re-paid with such an appointment.
With my limited knowledge of what's going on, I'm leaning toward the former.

Saudi Arabia Considers Ditching The Dollar For Chinese Oil Sales
By ZeroHedge - Mar 15, 2022, 12:00 PM CDT
The status of the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency of the world is largely based on its importance in energy and commodity markets.
According to an exclusive report from the Wall Street Journal, Saudi Arabia and China are now discussing pricing some Saudi oil exports in Yuan.
China is aggressively pushing to dethrone the dollar as the global reserve currency, and this latest development suggests the petrodollar is now being threatened.

On the 'Why $100 Oil Is Different' topic -
...Clean energies are rapidly improving and becoming more cost-effective as more and more investment pours into new technologies and industries such as solar and wind outgrow subsidies as they tap into economies of scale. To be certain, oil, gas, and coal have their benefits – no single era has showcased this better than the current moment of global uncertainty. Conflict in Europe and the disruption of global supply chains have caused an unprecedented energy crunch that has driven countries back to the most reliable and independent forms of energy available. For most, this has meant a return to fossil fuels.
But this pattern is not sustainable.
The writing is on the wall for Big Oil. While the industry is enjoying an unexpected windfall, it may very well be the last. The case of Houston real estate underlines this fact. The boost in oil prices no longer inspires optimism and a growth mentality. Instead, companies are adopting a “wait and see” approach, which seems to be the only safe option in an era of uncertainty.
IMHO, the pattern we operate under is only 'not sustainable' because of the ideological forces and their propaganda we see at work around us.
Fossil fuels have worked well for the last 90 years or so, and will work well for the foreseeable future.
Why $100 OIl Is Different This Time Around
By Haley Zaremba - Mar 16, 2022, 5:00 PM CDT
The last time oil rose above $100, the American oil industry dove in headfirst, sparking a massive influx of new projects and investments.
This time around, Big Oil is opting for a “wait and see” approach as the industry enters an era of uncertainty.
Oil companies are exercising restraint, ditching the “drill, baby, drill” mentality of yesteryear.

Israel must take advantage of opportunity presented by President Herzog's Turkey visit
While Herzog has treated Israel's natural gas as a resource that must be managed correctly, it has clearly bestowed Israel with a special status in the Mediterranean that has forced Erdogan to change his ways.

But there are people who still want to point out what's good, just, and true.
Because of all the horseshit propaganda.
