Why $100 OIl Is Different This Time Around

The last time oil rose above $100, the American oil industry dove in headfirst, sparking a massive influx of new projects and investments.

This time around, Big Oil is opting for a “wait and see” approach as the industry enters an era of uncertainty.

Oil companies are exercising restraint, ditching the “drill, baby, drill” mentality of yesteryear.
