That's a boilerplate agreement, but I'm glad you forwarded it. Unfortunately, me being a skeptic, it brings up an even bigger issue- it's a 1 year contract that doesn't end for several more months. So end it early? I have to guess that it wasn't an option for Mr. Aroesty.
Not doubting you, but where have you ever seen anything about Sid being an "interim" CEO? It certainly wasn't in any of the companies press releases. In fact the PR upon his hiring stated:
"As CEO, Mr. Aroesty will be directing all components of 3DIcon's operations including oversight of technology development, as well as commercialization and marketing of the company's emerging technologies and products."
Understand- this is a tough time for all-
best regards
Not trying to- we are all here for the same reason-
one love
Well said- it's just not reasonable to believe that Mr. Willner would put his reputation on the line (or that Aroesty would stay on the board) if good things weren't in store. We're only a week into his appointment and this board has gone insane.
We've been through R/S threats before, and we were subpenny just a few months ago. Now certainly isn't the time for all of the petty bickering.
Hang tough
Who would pay $3.50 a share (for stock in a R/D company with almost no revenue) post R/S? No one- UNLESS there was true value to the stock, i.e., a working prototype, merger or acquisition, etc. to support it.
In my opinion, there won't be a R/S unless there is positive news. The big carrot is dangling for these guys in their stock options, not in their minor salaries.
It was mentioned in Aroesty's letter to shareholders on Nov. 1, 2011:
The possibility that our recent agreement with Yongsen Consulting in China might provide joint ventures, collaborations, strategic alliances and possible acquisitions in the 3D arena was discussed.
Perhaps an acquisition/joint venture is in the works that would negate further "hands on" work with Hoover?
Just trying to look for the silver lining here and hoping that something good is coming....
What company on the planet hires an "interim" CEO unless the previous CEO dies or resigns abruptly? If they do, they are generally up front about the "interim" aspect. There is just way too much vetting that has to take place to seat a new CEO only to turn around and replace him in under a year.
I have to believe Keating would have stayed on another 9 months if they were that close to producing the TSP rather than bring in a "transitional CEO" just to put the icing on the cake.
Sid didn't even last a year- Hoovers gone- what's next? That warm, fuzzy feeling is long gone.
True, very good point- my bad.
How would he "accomplish his goal" - by producing a prototype? Then what, "thanks see you later"?
Or it could mean he hasn't accomplished his goal and got canned. Sorry, it's just the pessimist in me at this point looking at all angles.
Yes, and he is one reason so many people stopped posting on this board. But judging from the recent arguing among everyone, apparently turmoil still rules the day.
De ja vu... same time last year when the patent announcement was issued we went from 560,000 in volume to 35,000,000 within 2 weeks, and from .004 to .08 pps within 3 months.
Don't know that this news will do the same, but we can hope...
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Grants Second Patent for 3DIcon's Breakthrough 3D Imaging Technology
TULSA, Okla., Dec. 14, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 3DIcon Corporation (OTCBB:TDCP), a developer of volumetric, three-dimensional projection and display technologies, today announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted another patent for CSpace®. Patent # 8,075,139 for the volumetric, three-dimensional projection and display technology was awarded to the University of Oklahoma ("OU") under its Sponsored Research Agreement ("SRA") with 3DIcon.
3DIcon had signed an SRA with OU in 2006 to develop the technology now known as CSpace. Per the terms of the SRA, OU owns the patent for CSpace and 3DIcon has the exclusive worldwide marketing rights to technology.
This Continuation Patent marks the second patent granted for CSpace and is based on the original patent issued to CSpace in December of 2010. Titled "3D Light Surface Display," this second patent describes and protects an invention that uses a light surface display to create a three dimensional image. The light surface display includes a plurality of particles suspended within a volumetric display that illuminate to form a three dimensional image when these particles are energized by the electronic energy of two or more wavelengths.
"This second patent fortifies our intellectual property position in two key ways. First, it validates once more the fact that we are developing breakthrough technology for 3D imaging. Secondly, it enhances our marketing and negotiating position with industry partners while providing greater protection against potential patent infringers," stated 3DIcon CEO, Sidney Aroesty. "We continue to innovate and anticipate filing for additional patents in the near future."

On a totally unrelated note, with Veterans day approaching, just a note to share- take it for what it's worth to you- it's not TDCP related, but I'm going to share anyway.
I was born in 1964, at the start of the Vietam war. When I was a kid, I wore a bracelet with a soldiers name on it- Sgt. Robert Luna, who at the time was listed as P.O.W.- K.I.A. He actually died in 1968 in hostile action proctecting the freedom of a dumb kid like me, and the great country we live in today. Thank you Sgt. Luna, and your family, for your ultimate sacrifice.
God bless all of you guys- the Robert Luna's of the world, and everyone on this board that served and make us so proud. God bless you, and God bless America.
And 1 million sold at .0153
Apparently a trade alert was issued by a promoter yesterday comparing TDCP to Apple Computer, which I would think contributed to the spike in daily volume. Someone bought 1M+ just before the alert. We'll see how it shakes out today.
And it's back down to .009...
8-K out... if anyone cares

Exactly. That's what I'm banking on- the "yet" part. Otherwise I would have gone into the MadmanTy3ColdDeuce rage by now.
Yeah, we got that. Your "sky is falling routine" is getting really old. You've stated that the CEO is a fool, and that we are all fools to have invested in TDCP. You also stated that you bought into TDCP 5 years ago (or was it 7 years- it changed over several of your posts)- weren't the prices between .20-.80 cents back then? If so, and you bought and held at those amounts over the years, then I could understand your frustration (and foolishness). If not, what is your true motive in trashing the stock? Just sell and move on to a happy place.
Yeah, it's pretty obvious that they're not the same company. I was pointing out the "similarities" between the 2 companies (pissed off shareholders, little to no movement in the pps for years, etc.) and how it jumped 260% overnight when it sold to Roche.
I've waited this long- what's another year (if BigHenry is right)? I'm good with the R/S (it's not like it's the first time they've had one on the table), and I'm good with the wait- what else is there to invest in these days with such an enormous upside potential for such a small buy-in?
Good post re: ANDS with a 260% gain overnight. It's hilarious to look back on their board over the last few months and see the highly negative outlook by many posters, much like it is here with TDCP. I wonder how many of those guys got out before it jumped?
I agree...just a little more time.
Great information from you guys- I really appreciate the time and effort taken by those that attended to share their wealth of information with everyone so quickly.
Thanks-again.
I had to google that to make sure you weren't talking dirty...
(2) of the calmest heads in this forum, EQ and RZR butting heads? SMC the moderator voting no on the RS? I'm not sure what to think anymore...does this mean that I might have to start actually thinking on my own now?!
What's this place coming to...this is becoming too much like work...
It was 400K- not 40K. Either way, what does it explain?
Yes for me too.
Same here, but it's not likely. You guys will have to take a road/boat/plane trip here to celebrate once we make a dollar or two. Anyone from STX/STT/STJ on this board that's planning on going?
A big fat YESSSS! I agree with Razr- dilution is the big issue, with or without an R/S. At this point, what difference does it make? Even if they released a prototype tomorrow and it was shown on every media outlet in the world, investors wouldn't necessarily flock to the stock in the volume/$$$'s needed since it's a pink sheet.
I'm tired of seeing this stock languish- I'd rather have some action. I've had confidence in the stock at the crappy levels it's been holding, and I have confidence that the Board knows what they're doing. Aren't all stocks an educated gamble anyway?
Hilarious. Wish I thought of that one...
Hold
We're depressing? Only 2 weeks ago you stated "I am afraid that this Will go sub penny if nothing is revealed by the shareholders meeting." THAT was depressing.
In my opinion, I doubt that anything substantial will be revealed prior to, or even at the shareholders meeting. HOPEFULLY I am wrong and the pps will take off.
I still believe in TDCP, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to understand why. Perhaps it's just my ignorance when it comes to R&D stocks.
Best to all.
As odd as this may sound, I'm actually more concerned about the Nevada aspect than the R/S. And not to be overly negative, but I don't see the shareholders meeting as a rollout of good news- it's just simply a fiduciary requirement to hold annual meetings. If good news was available now, why not put it out there?
Yes it was. Their "investor relations department" is obviously behind in emailing their updates to those that signed up for notifications. Someone else posted the 10Q on the board last week, and I received it through 3dicon 3 days later.
I don't think so- ask is .021 and looks like it's starting to tick back up slightly. But who knows anymore? Vol's only 1.6
Don't be hatin' player...dawg...whatever. Guess I'll never make my Milly since I can't get the Pimpdaddy lingo crap down.
