Alea.....It would appear to me that the deal is through some VI rather than through Wave itself. As such....Wave would not issue a pr regarding the SEDs and TPMs they are involved with.....Therefore....unless the VI issues a pr regarding the general contract....I would seriously doubt Wave would comment on the transaction until they receive more than a million from the deal. We have no info at this time to indicate how quickly Wave will receive any revenue from the deal although we do know that delivwery starts in the Feb/March time frame. What I found very interesting were the words the DOD used to describe Wave's important role in this deployment......hell of a reference account
My personal number of seats for 2012 is roughly a million seats. NWs info from the NSA trusted computing conference seemed to suggest that the DOD is nearly in a panic state to protect its networks and could very rapidly activate 6 million seats. Just to be conservative....I decided to go with a certain percentage of that number....and If AWK is correct..then this contract is good for 15% of my 2012 total.....nice way to start the year
Sincerely,
Jas
Jermart.... Great reminder!!!! Thanks for letting us know that we should keep our eyes on Barcelona!!!!
Thanks again.
Sincerely
Jas
Unix.....well.... Actually.... It does have implications to Wave. The GOP bill will give
MORE power to the US CYBER COMMAND and to the NSA. So what you may ask....?? The answer is very simple.... They are both headed by hen Alexander who is a champion of TRUSTED COMPUTING..... Other than that simple point.... There is no relevance
Sincerely
Jas

Jermart... Re selling... Isn't the more interesting question... Who is stepping up to buy given the nature of these prs?? And WHY are they stepping up???Given the price action over the last week or so... It would appear that the shares are being absorbed into the market without the effect some would have expected
Sincerely
Jas
I agree.... We are jumping the gun to assume this is WEM.... The good news is that the OEMs are now making pcs that are NIST compliant.... As soon as this overhang is worked through.... The share price will begin to reflect the importance of Trusted Computing!!
Sincerely,
Jas
Good morning Alea.... You obviously KNOW the answers to those questions. The internal Dod memo that AWK found clearly states the intent and direction that department is heading. This has profound implications for any company doing business with the DOD. Additionally.... Every NATO version of the DOD will have to adopt these standards. The conference that Wave hosted in England in late Sept. provided insight to how seriously the UK was taking cyber security issues.
When it became clear that the direction these standards bodies were heading.... I started accumulating aggressively again...... Fwiw
Sincerely
Jas
Good Morning Jermart.....
What does the US ARMY know???
What does BP Know?????
What does GM know ???
What does BASF know????
What does Samsung know???
What does Dell know????
What does NIST know????
What does the NSA know????
WhT do former senior executives from BP and Pricewater House know?????
Have a good day......
Jas
Zen.... What on earth are you talking about... Haven't you heard.... 2.20 is a great and safe place to short Wave shares.
Sincerely
Jas
Unix. Re misdirection.... You're 100% correct....let's talk about scramble and forget about:
GM
BP
Micron
USARMY
Samsung
Dell
Pricewater House
NSA
NIST
Right.... Why should we waste our time talking about the above..... It's just " misdirection"
Sincerely
Jas
Unix. ... Re Salisbury bank... Just out of curiosity.... Do you know what market segment the WES product is targeting???? Oh yeagh..... SMALL and medium sized businesses
Sincerely,
Jas
Unix..."Remember the Pizza thing??" C2 was way ahead of his time ....The better question would be.... DO YOU REMEMBER:
GM
BASF
PricewaterHouse
BP
NSA
Samsung
Dell
Micron
US ARMY
NIST
For some reason....these organizations/companies don't seem to be bothered by what you described as being "many quasi-unethical things"......Thud...thud...thud...thud......that's the sound of the dominoes falling
Sincerely,
Jas
Weby....VERY NICE!!! It really is becoming very interesting the people this "small" company is beginning to attract. The question people should be asking is why are these individuals willing to jump ship from multi billion dollar companies and join this "small" company???
Sincerely,
Jas
Unix.... So you agree that Wave did infact receive money from Intel regarding their motherboards....
Sincerely,
Jas
Re Safend....YES
Re Scrabble.... Interesting science experiment. At this time
Re TvTonic..... Should remain moth balled
Sincerely
Jas
Unix... Re intel motherboard... Correct me if I'm mistaken.... But didn't Wave generate revenue from intel on their motherboards at that time??? Your assertions are becoming somewhat interesting to say the least. Let's talk about the state of Wave as it currently exists....
Sincerely
Jas
Unix....the year WILL be 2012 where we will see significant movement towards Trusted Computing. You're correct in that at the end of the day.... It's the bottom line. Having said that... At this stage..... It's more important for the company to invest in itself rather than just the point of showing a profit. Not sure how many times we need to discuss this point... I guess the complexity of this concept must be causing some confusion.
Sincerely
Jas
Unix... Re trusted computing revenue.... Could you please name one company that has generated more revenue from managing TPMs.... Or SEDs??? Could you remind us what happened when Wave went head to head against the largest 10 cyber security firms for the recent BP(?)contract???
What happened when wave went head to head with a large German company before the BASF contract was announced.
Sincerely
Jas
Unix.... Once again.... The 350 million has Built THE company in Trusted Computing environment....
If one believes trusted computing is simply a fad of an idea....Then your assertion is correct. If however..... Trusted Computing represents the Next phase of cyber security that will dramatically alter the cyber security land scape.... Then the investment will more than pay off
Sincerely,
Jas
Jermart. Care to show us your math.... For some reason....your assertion just doesn't add up. IMHO
Sincerely
Jas
Kisamura...re Sincerely or not.... I do feel honored
Re who runs the company.... Aren't those the SAME people who have made Wave into THE go to company within the Trusted Computing environment???
Samsung
Dell
NSA
GM
BASF
Pricewater House
NIST
US ARMY
For some strange reason.... The above organizations/ companies would disagree with your assertions regarding Wave's management team and the company they have built...... Now the real question is for people to either put their faith in the shorts.... Or do they put their faith in the likes of...
Samsung
Dell
NSA
NIST
Micron
GM
BASF
Pricewater House
US ARMY
Hummmm. .........
Sincerely,
Jas
jermart.....lets talk about the issues that you raised....because they are talked about a lot from the short side....
1) They have lost money for 25 years....up until recently(25 year time frame) their burn rate was around 5 million/quarter. Last quarter Wave delivered 10 million in revenues. However....management decided that they needed to increase the burn rate to make the company stronger. By spending more money on engineering.....the company has increased the distance between itself and possible competition. If the rumors of us being involved with Windows 8 as well as the upcoming ARM chip are true.....then this would have caused Wave to increase their burn to position the company to take advantage of potentially large market opportunities. Unfortunately....we are in that period in which the street only sees the expense side without realizing the potential market this opens up for Wave. The more important parameter is the size of Wave's debt.
2) burnt through 350 million dollars.....Over the past 10 years....Wave has become THE company when it comes to Trusted Computing. They are viewed as the experts....don't take my word for it...just go back and read the prs put out by Samsung...when it comes to TPMs....read the commentary from Pricewater House in regards to TPMs....read the pr that Micron itself put out in regards to SEDs....read the acknowledgment section from the recent NIST 800-155 from the feds regarding BIOS integrity. Read the recent commentary from the US Army regarding the SOLE SOURCE contract. The shorts act as though the 350 million dollars were flushed down the toilet....instead....it has funded and created THE company in Trusted Computing!!!
3)Reverse split....it was done years ago when Wave was not generating more than a few hundred thousand dollars in revenue/quarter. They needed to stay on the Nasdaq exchange in order to have access to the capital markets....it was a decision that needed to be made to keep the lights on.....Those touch and go years also allowed some of us to accumulate VERY LARGE positions in the .30-.50 cents/ share range.
4)Insider sells.... not going to disagree with you....though not as bothered by it as others are.
5)New shelf.... the rdcent 8 k is not a new shelf....it takes 20 million from the existing shelf and created a manner to raise working capital in a more efficient manner. Unlike others on this board....I don't believe that Wave will raise the full 20 million....time will tell.
The shorts keep looking at Wave and the market opportunities as being static....unfortunately for them....things are about to change rather quickly....now remind me what the US ARMY recently said???
Sincerely,
Jas
Samk.... Agree 100%!!! One of the old sayings is that the street looks 6-12 months ahead and prices stocks accordingly. The problem with Wave is that the analysts on the street do not even understand that there is a paradigm shift taking place. If they do not understand that basic point.... How on earth can they understand anything about the revenue potential for Wave. Some will say that there are a lot of analysts that know about wave..... My response is really???? Tell me the last time you saw a talking head on cnbc talk about TPMs / seds/ bios integrity???? If they don't understand those basic concepts.... Does anyone truly believe they can calculate potential revenue growth of the company??? All this will change when Wave gets a large contract and it hits these analysts like a sledge hammer. Until that day..... ACCMULATE as many shares as possible!!!
Sincerely,
Jas
24601.....what is important is the following fact......Trusted Computing is about to become the gold standard......yet people continue to deny the significant impact Wave has played within the TCG. No other company has the expertise with TPMs(Samsung pr) SEDs ( Micron Pr) and BIOS integrity ( NIST 800-147/155) as that demonstrated by Wave. All of this was recently nicely stated by the US Army Sole Source Contract that was found by Dabeers. Whats that old saying.......you can lead a horse to the trough.....but you can't make it drink......of well
Sincerely,
Jas
Wavemaster..... Interesting volume this morning . The scramble appears to be underway
Sincerely,
Jas
Unix guy.....your commentary has been very interesting to follow when compared to the actions and words from companies and agencies like:
GM
BASF
PRICEWATER HOUSE
BP?
NSA
NIST
MICRON TECH
WHITE HOUSE
SAMSUNG
Have I said anything about the US ARMY??? SOLE SOURCE???
Why listen to any of the above.....???
Sincerely
Jas
Goo morning Alea... Re dilution. The ONLY way there will be no further dilution is if Wave does not pull the trigger at all..... Personally.... That is a pipe dream. Further dilution will happen and that is not a bad thing if it translates into positioning the company in a stronger place. The recent purchase of Safend is a good example of necessary dilution. That is NOT the point I've been arguing and I've certainly NOT claimed that further dilution is a figment of imagination of the shorts. THE ONLY POINT I'VE BEEN MAKING IS THAT THE DEGREE OF THAT DILUTION IS UNKNOWN..... For example .... Let's say that you are correct ..... and sometime over the next 10 months or so.... Wave needed 20 million dollars to fund projects that would position the company to take advantage of enormous opportunities..... Then I would assume wave would pull the trigger at very opportunistic times as to take advantage of market fluctuations..... I seriously doubt that means pulling the trigger for the full 20 million at these levels.....if they pull the trigger at higher levels.... The degree of dilution maybe significantly different than pulling the trigger at these levels. Therefore..... For people to suggest that 9 million shares are going to be fed into the market is not accurate and very misleading. If that was the case.... They would have simply done another pipe.... Imnsho
Sincerely,
Jas
Good morning Alea... I'm not sure I follow your logic Wave decided to go the route of ATMs rather than the pipes because that would allow them greater control to take advantage of particular situations. Nobody is arguing that they will not pull the trigger ..... However.... The amount they decide to raise would be effected by their cash flow at the time when they needed to spend additional cash. Nobody knows what that final figure will be..... It maybe as some have indicated..... All of the 20 million..... Or it could be for a significantly less amount. IMHO. ..... It's way too early to know for sure
Sincerely,
Jas
Player....re the shelf.... The point is simple....the shorts keep talking as though it is a guarantee that Wave will use every dollar of the shelf/8 k....ie 20 million dollars....although the fact is that Wave allowed the last shelf to expire WITHOUT spending the entire amount that had been allocated in that shelf . There is nothing set in stone that Wave will draw down the entire sum of 20 million despite the attempts of the shorts to convince us otherwise.
Sincerely
Jas
Player. Re history.... Remind us again if Wave used the entire shelf before the last one expired??? Your history is not as black or white as you are suggesting
Sincerely,
Jas
Re pipes.... Who said Wave was about to do a pipe????
Sincerely
Jas
Jermart re short numbers.... Go back to the numbers from sept and then compare them to those from dec and you will find a significant chunk of those shares. What you do not see is how many of the prior shorts may have covered their shorts during the same time period
Sincerely
Jas
Nobody is arguing....I just find the description you used yesterday and the number you through out today to be very interesting....
Sincerely
Jas
Jermart... Re Safend. I would estimate that roughly 3 million shares have made their way into the market since Oct through a combination of shorting against the box as well as direct sales once the shares were registered
Sincerely
Jas
Re 10 million shares.... There you go again.... Yesterday you claimed Wave was a Scam.... And today you assert that there will be 10 million more shares to be sold. Somehow w
Wave did not sell the shares in the existing shelf ... But when they provide a different way to POTENTIALLY raise funds.... Now there WILL be 10 million shares coming into the market. They may raise some funds to fill a potential doughnut hole.....but that is far from selling 20 million dollars worth of shares
Sincerely
Jas
Time to step in and BUY!!!
Sincerely
Jad
Unix... Re profits.... Not too long ago... Our burn rate was around 5.5-6.5 million / quarter. Currently Wave is bringing in roughly 10 million/ quarter. Had management kept the burn where it was... Wave would be currently operating in the black. Instead Wave spent more money improving their products and bulking up the company. Some would argue that the company is in a MUCH stronger position by doing so. In regards to how I know that the clients were satisfied..... Simple.... Not only did GM double the size of their order.... They ACCELERATED the rate of deployment!!!
Sincerely,
Jas
Jermart....are the shorts becoming nervous about something???? You just used the S word....SCAM Oh my....... Lets review a few points...
INCREASING revenues for the past three years....
GM...worlds largest Auto maker is a SATISFIED client
BASF...worlds LARGEST chemical company is a SATISFIED client
BP? One of the Worlds leading oil and gas company is a SATISFIED client
NIST acknowledges TWO senior execs from Wave in the release of NIST 800-155 regs.....INTEL/MACAFEE/SYMANTIC/RSA all missing in action
Samsung signs an agreement with Wave
Micron Tech..... talks up Wave in their PR talking about their new encrypted hard drives.....not guardian or Macafee or sympantics....
Wave is thanked at a White House sponsored event regarding their internet cyber strategy earlier this year along with MSFT
BTW....didn't the US ARMY award something called a SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT????
Yup.....you're right......
Sincerely,
Jas
