spy2: Why don't you get off the fence and tell us how you really feel?
SH, you've got a good point about the "Darkened Nursery". I don't think it would be too difficult to add a dissolve to a night view right before you are taken to the main page. Monitoring your baby in darkness is certainly the more usual application.
On a related subject, the new packaging of the SecureView has bothered me ever since I saw it at the Open House. My background is advertising and printing... and I've designed and also printed a ton of POP packaging and displays. I can tell you that there are not very many $499.00 products sold in bubblepacks. IMO, a corregated contained with foam cavities and a full color sleeve is the way to go with SecureView. It might take another $5.00 off the bottom line, but I think it would be money well spent.
I'd like to hear the thoughts of others about the packaging. You can see it if you click on Francois' 2nd link and scroll down when you get there.
Golfnut
Arrowhead... looking for a SecureView at your local XXX store? Hmmmm. Perhaps you've hit on a whole new market for the camera!! LOL

Matt, F+G, Bull, SH....
FrankNG has had a dozen posts deleted in the past week, and IMO, the last one was the straw that broke the camel's back.
GIVE HIM THE REST OF THE WEEK OFF!

No we haven't cleared up the Springs shares....
And frankly, I don't think there's anyone here who can clear it up to your satisfaction. You'll just have to wait for the PR, like the rest of us.
In the whole scheme of things, it will probably turn out that the "deal on this deal" is really no big deal.
So, I guess what I'm getting at is that you don't have to keep posting the same questions over and over (Compare your posts #6148 & #6188). Let's move on.
BTW, "Happy Posting" is running a close second to "Honorable Poster and does not lie"! Can it.
Warm Mineral Springs is a site of great historical and important archaeological interest, in addition to its medical significance. While obviously not the "Fountain of Youth" not the "Cure-all" some have claimed it to be, many who have bathed in the waters report that it gives great relief to arthritis sufferers.
While it may never be a "cash cow" for Seaview, it certainly is an area that should be preserved for future generations. Having majored in Anthropology, I found this site to be quite interesting.
http://www.greatdreams.com/wms1.htm
I believe the site has been posted before, but here it is again for those who haven't been there, and would like to read about what we as SEVU shareholders have helped to preserve.
GOLFNUT
Francois... did you go to med school with Rich? LOL
Print: You need to read the header all the way through. In my opinion, Francois has done a good job in keeping it up to date. I like the way nothing is ever deleted (which I'm sure would be referred to as "trying to hide something" by some). If Francois keeps it up, the header will be like a mini-history of Seaview, which Francois will probably use as a working outline for his upcoming book, "A Short Story". I hear the title of the final chapter is "Seaview makes Shorts change shorts!" LOL

Printmail, just when I thought you were making some progress, I find out that wasn't even your post. You just copied it from RB! I'm disappointed. (Even FrankNG would have posted a link!)
This is what we need. You make some excellent points, Print. I agree with most, but I didn't find the "Secured Order" to be confusing. I take it to mean the total order was for $30,000 and they put some money down with the order. I'm just speculating here, but..., I am wondering about the reason someone would make a down payment given the current situation re; delivery... to perhaps guarantee the price or try to get a favorable shipping date? Anyone have any idea on this?
One more thing, WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH PRINTMAIL? (LOL)
Good post!
F+G: Please do not make Seahag a director.
I don't think we should do anything that might cramp her style!
You don't have to be very adept at reading between the lines to sense that Bill Holland has some sort of an axe to grind. This is an unbiased reporting of the facts? Makes one wonder if his drinking buddy's initials are KC. Or perhaps he was educated at A@Pacific University. JMHO
Crookk, Printmail... Regarding Reg S shares
You ask if Seaview has issued any REG S shares, ...
you whine for an answer,...
then you get your answer:
Bill Branum tells you Rich said "No Reg S shares have been issued... period!" (I also heard Rich say this at the open house).
So how do you respond? By saying "Well, you can't believe anything Rich says, anyway!"
What's with you guys? Are you here to exchange information or are you here just to disrupt? When you have nothing new to harp on, you rehash the same old crap we've been listening to for months! I for one am so sick of hearing this "Convicted Felon" crap being brought up again and again.
Try to keep current, guys. Reg S is ASKED AND ANSWERED! If you bring it up again, either show positive proof or start your post with O.T.
Crook, why don't YOU reread YOUR last post. You asked and answered your own question! If that's what you're going to do, you don't have to involve the rest of us.
SH, some of that $30,000 was my tax dollars! Looked like a great fish finder. LOL. BTW, it was Hillsborough County Sheriff's Dept., and I know they have used the Seaview cameras. Go figure! If anyone wants to see what we're talking about, here's the link.

This makes me wonder how the UV floodlight works underwater. Anybody know?
If you're in the Tampa-St. Pete area, try to catch the Channel 8 (NBC) local news at 11:00 pm tonite. I just saw a promo about a story featuring an underwater camera used by law enforcement for underwater searches. It looked like a yellow torpedo! Could it be...???
BILL BRANUM TEACHES RICH A LESSON...
or should we call him BILL@BRANUM!! Did you see this, Rich? Did ya?, Did Ya?
A. Sell your shares.
B. Dump on the company.
C. Watch stock price tank.
D. Buy back your shares at a cheaper price.
It's so easy even the longs are doing it!
RICH!! GET US OFF THIS ****ING OTCBB AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!
(WTG, Bill. That's the first money any long has made in months!)
I was at the open house, and cannot add too much to what's already been said. I haven't posted anything until now because I just recently stopped shivering! Those of you who have never been to Tierra Verde should know it's a strip of land about a half mile wide and a couple miles long, and when the wind blows, it's colder than a witch's .. er.... broomstick. Rich's 3 car garage is NOT heated. My feeling is those who left early were not Anthony Operatives, they were just native Floridians. Those who stayed to the end probably flew in from Michigan and thought the weather was great.
SecureView is everything we all had hoped it would be.... in Spades! Although it has a fixed lens, it is perfectly in focus from 6 inches to infinity. It looks EXACTLY like a floodlight that is not on or "burned out". During our demonstration, we witnessed a man in the lobby, 1 foot from the camera, and you could tell he didn't even realize it was there. It was obvious how proud Rich was... his enthusiasm came really across. SecureView is for real!
Is SeaView for real? Over on RB the shorts all say this whole deal is a scam. Well, just a little common sense would say that if this were a scam, we would have seen some classy offices and a lot of suits and ties greeting us at the Open House. But instead we are met people in everyday work clothes, who look like they spent the morning on the boat. And a facility that is functional, but if Rich is paying more than $500/month, he should renegotiate the lease. Suffice it to say there's no money wasted here! (BTW, if you see me in a tie, somebody's getting married or somebody died, but geez JR, least I shave everyday!)
One area of concern for me is the $9,000,000 worth of orders for SecureView. I did get a chance to look at these. They were all for a dozen items and all going to dealers at a dealer rate. They looked like telephone solicitation orders, and for the most part, were not accompanied by the customers P.O. I wanted to ask Rich what the "Terms" were for these dealer orders. I was concerned they might be on consignment or "floor plan", and wouldn't therefore fit in to Rich's "one sale buys parts for 3, 3 buys parts for 9, 9 buys parts for 27" finance method. Unfortunately, the heated bus pulled up and the wife had had all she wanted of Rich's garage. So, I ask those of you who stuck it out to the end, does anyone know the "Terms" of the dealer back orders?
The other area of concern I had was the rather nonchalant attitude about getting to AMEX. Rich said a lot of the paperwork done from the first application would make it quicker to reapply a second time. Rich, you said the only reason the stock price tanked is because of the shorting "by the best of the shorters". Well, they're still out there, and IMO they will short us again and again and again until you get us off the OTCBB. I'm not a vindictive person, but I wouldn't mind if you reapplied, kept it as one of your company secrets, and announced on a Friday at 4:30p.m. that trading will begin on AMEX the following Monday morning. (Anthony would have to change his pants!)
My overall take on the entire day is that Rich was presenting the products, the people, and the company as it is, no fluff, no pretense, this is it, take it or leave it. I think this company will be successful, very successful, just not as fast as we stockholders would like. I guess I can wait a while. Oh, and one more thing, Rich. When you do sign that contract with a "Major Retailer", why not let the "Major Retailer" put out the PR? (Anthony would have to change his pants again!)

BEST POST OF THE NIGHT GOES TO.......
LaShark(Post 5342) for his succinct reply to Crookk's post 5341!
(Couldn't have not said it better myself!) LOL
WHOA! Isn't that insider trading??
Crookk, Rich has stated if you have orders, you can get funding, and that's true. I tend to be a little more concerned about parts availability. Hopefully Rich has contracted with more than one supplier for each component. And I hope that we're not waiting for robotics to get mass production underway! If that's the case, while we're waiting we ought to stuff a bunch of little old ladies into a warehouse and start cranking these suckers out!
The main thing I want to find out about at the Open House is
MASS PRODUCTION of SecureView
Has it begun?
If not, when will it begin?
How many companies will be (are) involved in mass producing them?
How many units will be produced per day?
Is there any problem with funding the mass production?
Is there any problem with parts for the mass production?
How many SecureView cameras have been shipped to date?
How many units does Seaview have orders for that have not been shipped?
BTW, I think SRS has a good point, we shouldn't waste our time rehashing the old PR's...
let's move on. And as to whether the open house will have any effect on our investment, maybe not.
But I hope to come out of it with a little peace of mind. Think we all could use a little of that!
FCB, your last post is a paradigm!! I'm impressed, FCB, you da man!
Posters, take a lesson.
P.S. Has anyone else noticed that the general quality of the post has improved in the last few days. A lot more substance, a lot less BS.
SH, compiling a list of questions from all the posters is an excellent idea. I think we should all give some thought to the wording of the questions we want answered, and perhaps as you compile them, you should post them to avoid repitition and for others to comment on. But then, I suggest we take it a step further and e-mail them to Rich by, say Thursday, telling him the investors are looking for information in these areas. Some may say we would be "tipping Rich off" and we would be giving him time to concoct answers. To them, I say: "So, what's your point!". Let's give him some time to figure out what he can (will) tell us and what he can't (won't). If we start dropping bombs on him we're just going to get a lot of "no comment" and "that would compromise company security" answers. My guess is if we did this, Rich would probably start the Q & A time with some sort of statement addressing most of the questions we submit to him. The ones he skips we can ask again in person. Remember, this was billed as just an Open House to see the facilities and the products. I'm sure Rich added the hour of questions and answers because we asked for it. I think the above method will yield us the most information.
One other thought... appointing a spokesperson is probably not a good idea simply because it will appear like he was dominating the time. There could be an investor there who does not read IHUB (Hell, maybe both of them will be there! LOL)
That's my thoughts. I'd like to hear what others think, even if you disagree.
Either incredibly brilliant or completely FOS, I remain...GOLFNUT
I don't think this "new CEO" talk is serving any purpose. First of all, it's not going to happen. Rich McBride built this company from scratch... it's "his company" and it's unrealistic to think he would even consider taking a back seat. And looking at the overall progress he has made in such a short time, it's going to take a lot to convince me he shouldn't remain at the helm. Sure he's made a few mistakes, but probably less than any of us would have made if we were in his shoes. It could turn out that he's really only made one mistake, that of being open, honest and trusting of his fellow man. If you go back and re-read his PRs again, one thing is plain to see... they sure weren't written in the manner of someone who has something to hide. Optimistic, yes; devious, no. I like his attitude, in the light of all that has befallen him (and us) in the past couple of months. If I were him, I'd probably tell us all to KMA, sell the stock and take a hike!!
But, that's just me (thank God). Let's be a little patient and see what the next couple of months brings.
(You know, if I didn't have so much money in this thing, I'd be saying it's better than a soap opera!
MH, HOW MUCH FOR THE MOVIE RIGHTS?)
Really? Sounds like an Open House with some advance planning to me. GOLFNUT
FM, I usually get caught up reading ihub SEVU at night, when offending posts have already been deleted. Often, when I see a post has been deleted, I wonder what was said that warranted deletion. Thanks for posting that list. I'll no longer be curious. I've complained in the past that the posts were deteriorating, but let me tell you, I had no idea!!!! I hope you'll be able to find a solution to this problem, because the worst possible result is already starting. One of our most intelligent posters (DK76) has decided to leave. Nobody blames him, but we all hope he'll reconsider. Perhaps F+G should add one more reason to delete... DOES THE POST HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SEAVIEW!
You hit the nail on the head with "Show Me", Bill. I think we're all in for one helluva "Show & Tell" at the open house. And I'm sure we'll hear about Seaview's "problems"... like
A. Gee, we can't make 'em as fast as we can sell 'em!
B. Even when we can't deliver in a timely manner, people just won't buy someone else's camera!
C. Boy, even raising the price doesn't discourage them.
These are the kind of problems to have when most companies this past year are complaining that business is so bad even those who don't intend to pay aren't buying!
So Rich, Show me the product.... then show me the production.
And a year from now, we can all say "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!
Francois... enlighten me about this CA suit,
I thought in order to prevail in a suit, you have to show damages. Wouldn't that mean that those of us that didn't succomb to Anthony's BS and sell at a loss would (hopefully) have no damages by the time this came to trial if the stock went up higher than it was when Anthony started this crap. If this is the case, then it seems to me that only those who sold should join the suit. Is there any advantage for those stockholders who didn't sell to join the suit? Also, what type of outcome from this suit would provide $$ to the stockholders? And are PUNITIVE DAMAGES likely to be awarded? Have you heard anything about any CRIMINAL CHARGES being brought against Anthony? TIA, GOLFNUT
Bill.. glad you bought in. (I'd sure like to be in at $2.40) I'll be going to the open house too, and like you, I'll be asking questions. But I won't be "demanding" anything. I'll be a guest in Rich's "House" and plan to act accordingly. I have a lot of money invested in Seaview, and of course am quite "concerned" about the events of the last 2 months, but when you boil it all down, I'm just a stockholder, and have only 2 "rights"... sell or hold. (Where is it written that if you bet 2 bucks on a horse, you get to train him?) After reading all the posts on this board since "the Anthony fiasco", I sure am glad the investors aren't running this company! Let's hope the posts hit rock bottom yesterday and they'll get more civil from here on. Hope to see you and a lot of the posters at the open house... after all, this Open House is Rich's way of helping all of us investors over the jitters.
Bull, there's nothing wrong with offering to help. I'm sure there are dozens of us on this board who would be more than willing to help... IF ASKED. I just think we're too far removed from the situation, and wouldn't be able to intelligently help without more information. We can't help by blindly offering solutions to problems which may or may not exist. We can help best by offering management our support, especially in times like this. I do realize your intentions, and applaud you for them. We're all a little frustrated at the recent price drop. Over the past year, I've watched the price go up and down for no good (or bad) reason... certainly nothing to do with its true value. We longs know it will eventually go back up (bigtime) so why are we so upset now? If you're like me, I'll tell you why. It's because if we had all the money we spent on SEVU in our pocket right now, we could go out and buy a hell of a lot more SEVU than we have now! And that's probably just what we'd all do.
Sorry, Bull... I'm with SH on this one. Rich has some pretty good people on staff and I'm sure they're more than capable if there are any production "problems" to straighten out. It's a good bet he doesn't want a couple of dozen investors muckin' up the waters! (Wow, a double entendre!)
Montgriz: I don't think you have to worry about the price dropping below the $3 figure you saw in AMEX disqualifying SEVU. The first section of their "requirements" says...
Sec. 101. GENERAL
The approval of an application for the listing of securities is a
matter solely within the discretion of the Exchange. To assist
companies interested in applying for listing, the Exchange has
established certain numerical guidelines, outlined below, which will
be considered in evaluating listing eligibility. Other factors which
will also be considered include the nature of a company's
business, the market for its products, the reputation of its
management, its historical record and pattern of growth, its
financial integrity, its demonstrated earning power and its future
outlook.
The fact that an applicant may meet the Exchange's numerical
guidelines does not necessarily mean that its application will be
approved. On the other hand, an application may be approved
even though the company does not meet all of the numerical
guidelines.
It looks to me like their requirements are RULES if they want to reject an application, but only GUIDELINES they can waive if they want you in.
JMHO, What do you think?
SEAHAG, it's sad, isn't it, what goes on over at Raging BS.. All I can say to the jerks over there is that Seaview will be paying taxes on millions and millions of $PROFIT$, so I'm sure Rich tries to get all the $300-$400 tax write-offs he can. (OOPS, F+G says no sarcasm on this board... sorry!) BTW, my post is history over there, they're now attacking CRAZYMONEY'S great post!
I learned something today I thought I would pass along. I'm sure you've all seen on the national news the case of the little girl who's been missing from the Tampa area for quite some time now. I found out today that Seaview provided local law enforcement with underwater cameras to aid in the search. This may be old news, but to my knowledge it was never publicized, and that in itself speaks volumes about the character of this company and the people running it. I'm impressed.
This is my first post on this board, so let me introduce myself. I live in the Tampa area, and have owned SEVU stock for about a year now. Sevu was my first BB stock, and frankly, when I first bought in I didn't know beans about the Bulletin Board. I wish I knew then what I know now. My "education" might not have been so costly. From time to time, I have increased my SEVU holdings, and each time I have bought, the stock has gone down. If I was a little more Bulletin Board savvy, I could own twice as much SEVU. I have watched this stock being manipulated up and down with no apparent reason for almost a year now, and have resigned myself to the fact that the price of SEVU stock has little to do with it's real value, and will remain that way until we get off the BB. (BTW, I think we'll get off before the end of the year.) When we do get off, I'm going to make some serious money with this stock (along with all you other longs).
I read this board every day and feel like I know a lot of the people who post here. Their knowledge and insight has been very helpful and informative, although a few of you tend to get a little gung-ho at times. And on occasion, simple things tend to get blown up more than they ought to... for instance, today someone asked a question about volume of shares traded to qualify for AMEX listing. First it was 100,000 - then 20,000 to 40,000, then no requirement! Folks, the internet is a wonderful thing! Within 5 minutes, I searched out the following site:
http://www.complianceintl.com/wbs/netbos.dll?OpenRef?sk=AFPBPNOA&rt=AMEX2;
which has the entire book on AMEX online! And it's searchable! Check it out! The answer I found there said the requirement is 2000 shares a day, unless the AMEX people feel that's not important, then they'll forget about it! [i[I think[/i} AMEX is a done deal, and the only thing left is for Rich to pick a date he and Mike Ditka are available. That's JMHO, and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. (We're still going to make a lot of money!) To those of you who think we're due an "explanation" if we don't get on AMEX this month, I say the only one who will be due an explanation is Rich!
I haven't yet made a trip to Seaview (which is unforgiveable since I live so close) because I'm still working and it's hard to get out during the week, but I have some friends who have met Rich and got the Grand Tour. They say the SecureView is unbelieveable! As for me, I'm going to try to sit back, relax, and let Mr. McBride work on improving my retirement!
