I am so happy!!!
Waiting was worth while!!!!

Thx tkg... Isn't this the clearest statement that Foundries are already in the business of Scaling PICs in VOLUME!!!!
Scaling PICs in volume using foundries
Speakers:
...
Michael Lebby
CEO
Lightwave Logic Inc
Hope you are right! And as you said, if so this would be a formidable step to a more than "ubiquous" status
The article you cite is very interesting... In Reddit you can really find a lot of interesting stuff. Thank you
Yes indeed, great article. Thanks
I found this interesting:
"... Taking the optical modulator device as a critical device that both scales and enables a more competitive internet, then the following scaling metrics at least need to be addressed:
High volume—must be able to scale in foundries and large fabrication plants
Low cost—material must be able to scale in cost, with no supply issues
High speed—optical modulator devices that are at least 3X faster than current semiconductor incumbent technologies
Low power—optical modulator devices that have an impact of at least 10X reduction of power for the internet architecture
Ultra-small size and footprint—size is an issue for the internet, and optical engines that contain modulators can alleviate this issue
Integration onto a Photonic integrated circuit (PIC)[3] platform—following the IC industry, more functionality on a chip creates PICs that are more efficient and practical... "
I agree. A very good presentation. Thank you for the link
Better than saying it, I rather do it :)
This is an interesting video about foundries...
So did I, I have enough faith in this company as to always take advantage of any dip
The fact that they say that the tech they refer to is available THIS YEAR makes me think that Perkinamine is not included yet. As I understand from ML, mass production is not expected this year
Obviously when Perk will be included, it would mean a significant improvement to whatever they alreay have
Is there any poison pill in place? Thx
Well, “If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it probably is a duck” and Yes I believe he is talking about Perkinamine
Is it a serious question? Of course they would need as many qualified chemists as possible... I would be VERY concerned if they would not be looking for them
I guess that if the PDK was already finalized - with whichever foundry - then that would be it.... So, for me the wording makes sense in the current situation.
As ML put it in the interview they are making sure that the PDK recipe works 100% for that foundry
Let me rephrase that question: Will lwlg technology be replacing semiconductors and micro chips very soon?
It looks like it will, and very very soon. Sorry KOOG!
I compltely agree with you... And in regard to possible future competition we should not forget that it took LWLG many years to be able to come to a foundry with a recipe and a recognition from the industry to be able to even approach a foundry. That's quite a few years ahead in the game
Well, actually in this last interview he admits that his previous experience in trials has taught him to be very cuatious in his statements and forescasts. I translate this into being very conservative.
I also liked when he was asked about the downside risks for the company he mentioned not being ubiquitous.... He was taking for granted that there will be clients in the telecommunications sector. Maybe because there are already some clients.
If not being ubiquitous is the downside risk he fears... well being ubiquitous could mean being a $500 PPS company ? And not being ubiquitous would mean a $50 pps comapny... Well, what a risk!!!! LOL
Very very interesting video.Thank you. I found it to be very informative
Wow! Nice find PPower.... I can see LWLG in between those words
and considering ML's job with Congress in the past those are promising sweet words
Thanks tkg, reddit is certainly a great source of info... specially if the writer has decided to only post there
Funny thing about shorting a stock is the huge risk you are taking if that stock has big potential.
If you are long and buy, let's say $10000 worth stock, you may lose... maximum those $10000... But things do not work the same if you are short
Let's say you go short and invest those $10000 selling at $10 (a total of 10000/10 = 1000 shares), which might have been the case in many instances with LWLG... When the rocket takes off and PPS goes to $70 (for example) , you wouldnt be losing those $10000 but you would have bought 1000 shares @70 and sold those 1000 shares @ 10...
In summary the short would have lost 70000 - 10000 = $60000.... Wow!!!!
Count on a few shares from me as well... I still have dry powder
Thank you so much for your post... I should also extend my thanks to Steve.
Great work
xdx, this is a reply to your question... I dont know how many Tiers 1 are currently involved because LWLG has not talked about it, but I believe ML when he says that right now there are 5 foundries and soon there will be 7
Do you trust ML or dont? I do... why ? I have listened to him many times and been following him long enough to feel he is trust worthy
Have a nice day!
F2, very good info. I enjoyed reading your post and agree with most of what you said **
I am also quite puzzled with the market behavior.
I understand that you can manipulate and short a stock to KingdomCom' but my big question is how shorts will be able to cover without being smashed.
Who will end up paying for the loss....? Or all this was also included in a big master plan from the beggining? Anyway my math doesn't add up
** I dont believe PPS will go to $100 in a few days as you suggest though
Yes, that is going to be quite a show! There will be too many shares to cover...
I am patient because I trust the technology, the Management, the Board.... you name it!
I suppose it is good news that ML has joined Optica's Industrial Council. I dont know much about Optica but let's hope they are some sort of complement / partner to LWLG
<<...First, I have some important news to share. Optica’s Industry Council has just appointed two new members, Michael Lebby and Reinhard Voelkel. I am really delighted because both of these people have a vision of what’s next in photonics. What’s more, they explain that vision clearly which inspires others to create their own. They will definitely help accelerate Optica’s new vision to create an industry network with no hierarchy and global impact. ...>
I would say that the GOO, as you call it, is a new born baby (in spite of the years they have already been working with it). The possibilities, and specially the new applications, that can be used for are beginning to show up and be studied.
Once its properties and chemical structures are mirrored into a mathematical model, the easier it would be to figure out its potential for specific tasks. I was not surprised at all to see this job request. Even if there might already be someone working on the matter.
Well, talking about semantics... "managed" is good enough for me. If I can manage my wife, my business, my problems... wouldn't that be a perfect world? :)
Admitting that something can be managed is like saying that can be done. Otherwise it would be extremely weird that so many foundries would waste their precious time dealing with an issue pending to be resolved
Unlike you, who seems to believe to be an authority on the subject, to the extreme of publicly state that LWLG is a technology fraud
<<I'm simply claiming that his position does not remotely make him an authority on polymer photonics.>>
Correct! Not only he says the company is conservative but this fact is proven by their behavior. There was no preanouncement when they joined Nasdaq, nor they have made wild forecasts... Cautious and mesured steps all the way!
It got my attention when during the presentation ML stressed the SOS that the industry sent during the March Conference... I took it as if the whole industry... Data Centers, etc were in a real dire situation... No kidding, they NEED a disruptive technology such as what LWLG is offering
To be honest, I dont understand the shorts.... Are they crazy? Deaf? or... Well it is not my business, I will keep adding as they keep shorting... All I can do is say thanks
I liked the presentation today though it is somehow a repeat of the ASM... It is amazing the security and business & tech control that ML shows when he talks
Actually I wouldnt have replied to that disgusting document. Not even that PR
The infamous quality and intentions of the article do not deserve any attention from Management
