Newave Packaging Customers Report Use of ewrapâ„¢ Has Increased Quality and Sales
NEW YORK, Jan. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Safetek International, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SFIN) an incubator of and investor in green technology and eco-friendly start-up companies is pleased to announce positive responses from its customers who have reported Newave's eco-friendly, non-toxic ewrapâ„¢ food film is of better quality than wraps they have previously used and sales of meat products packaged in ewrapâ„¢ have increased.
David Lester, Manager of the Oneota Community Food Co-op commented: "We really love the wrap and think the tighter fit really displays our meats and cheeses better than before. We have seen a considerable increase in sales in our meat department."
Dr. Fredrik Verkroost, President of Newave Packaging, Inc. said: "While our goal at Newave Packaging is to create a healthier, more environmentally friendly product for consumers, we are pleased to see our customers using ewrapâ„¢ film are experiencing increased sales in their meat and fresh food departments and in overall sales. We believe consumers are demanding safer products and have shown they will go to the supermarkets that can provide these products to them. We feel we have created a win/win scenario for consumers, our customers and the environment." Our current strategy is to focus marketing our food film directly to independent distributors, organic green stores such as Oneota and co-op food stores, which number in the thousands in the United States, hopefully giving ewrapâ„¢ a solid foot print.
Newave Packaging, Inc., a Safetek International subsidiary company provides ewrapâ„¢ food film used in packaging meats and vegetables for resale in grocery stores and offers a healthy alternative to PVC film. ewrapâ„¢ does not require any additional or specialized dispensers and can be dispensed from the same dispensers currently being used by food packagers.

I will grab it for yas!
Here . . I will grab it and add you guys as Assistants.
We need some sort of movement on this, been sucking the hind teet for a bit now . . .
Eh, I am around when I have time to post. I know every post of mine will be flamed 10 times so I have to have time to come back and check them if I will post.
And I only posted about the trademark . . that isn't a lot in my book.
And it appears you support the other company. Hey, just calling a spade a spade . . . IMO . . . .
Ha, there is a product out there. . .and I can buy it, so stop saying it is a lie when there is a product. And, I never tried to compare the two, you did, I proved you were wrong . . sorry.
TMHO - NEWS OUT
AOP Worldwide, a Subsidiary of Talisman Holdings, Announces a 10-Year $100 Million Purchase Order
Should run BIG after opening this morning.
Legally as long as they submitted for it they were authorized to put the TM after it until the abandonment date . . . which was May 4, 2010. If they have used it since then they are in violation of the trademark laws.
But they do lie about the trademark, so maybe they aren't as legit as you think?
They are real? Then why are they lying about their trademark?
http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=77773911
They abandoned it . . same thing as the Koma one . . . nice try.
http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=85175238
Yeah I guess it is trademarked to a incense company . . so Frontier Beverages is lying too.
Something strange I just noticed about the trademark, and everyones screaming about it . . .
The Koma Unwind was abandoned on 6/1/2010 : http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=77790799
Then there was a new registration submitted for Unwind Relaxation Drink on 5/29/2010 it was entered and data-filled on 6/2/2010.
http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=85048723
A Notice of Allowance was sent out on 12/28/2010 saying the have 6 months to USE the term Unwind Relaxation Drink.
Here is an excerpt from the Notice of Allowance:
"You filed the trademark application identified below based upon a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce. You must use the mark in commerce and file a Statement of Use (a.k.a. Allegation of Use) before the USPTO will register the mark. You have six (6) MONTHS from the ISSUE DATE of this Notice of Allowance (NOA) to file either a Statement of Use, or if you are not yet using the mark in commerce, a Request for Extension of Time to File a Statement of Use ("Extension Request"). If you file an extension request, you must continue to file a new request every six months calculated from the issue date of the NOA until the Statement of Use is filed. Applicant may file a total of five (5) extension requests. FAILURE TO FILE A REQUIRED DOCUMENT DURING THE APPROPRIATE TIME PERIOD WILL RESULT IN THE ABANDONMENT OF YOUR APPLICATION."
So, I take it we will see a name change in production in the next 6 months? What does everyone else gather from this? Maybe they finally decided to drop the Koma term?
Also according to the filing for the Chillaxation Coffee: http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=77865432
They have 6 months to use that in production too, which expires on March 14th. So, we could also see some coffee coming out the pipe soon? Who knows, just doing some digging this afternoon.
and cleared to .09 now! Oh yeah, I jumped on board a little bit ago! ;)
You didn't sell at $32 did you? up to 40.499 right now . . . and still just keeps climbing. Now I wish I would have bought WAY more. I am glad I am still holding this, but interesting there is next to no interest here.
Robdel,
Sadly that is what this board has turned into. A mud throwing festival, instead of people discussing the company and how to make it better so people can make money on it. Heck I don't care if people think that BW should be removed and replaced, but you have to read the discussion and realize my "generalized statement" is pretty spot on.
Humm, I am pretty sure they didn't run in at least the last race, and I thought the one before that too. Humm, I could be wrong.
Mass,
That would take the majority of people here actually wanting to do something. Instead we get posts about how fat someone is and what pictures look stupid. I mean really? I don't care how ugly someone looks or hot fat they are if they are making me money. But, it appears people would rather focus on that instead of doing ANYTHING to assist anyone that still has money in this. There are still Koma's sitting in my fridge, because I like the product. Not because I really think me buying a case will make a difference, but because I USE the product. Until everyone (company, bashers, pumpers, EVERYONE) can get on the same page, sadly, I don't think there is much hope. Too many people have too many hidden agendas.
Thanks Mass, I appreciate it.
Sammy, no worries. I hope you don't have to deal with some of the mail that I did. Hope you are always making money.
All, see you guys around the block. I don't seem to have time to post anymore and it appears that people complained to the admins, who then mailed me. So, I went ahead and removed myself. Whoever replaces me, good luck! See ya all.
If any want to stay in contact you should already know my e-mail.
Sammy, Thank you . . . . and to the others that have served, Thank you!
Any idea why the big spike today? This is still a WILD stock. I can't complain when I am up over 28% . . . I still wonder where it will level off at.
And you are already making money on it! :) I am up over 23% . . still haven't figured out if I am holding long term or selling for a flip.
7's going down fast, 1 left, then .089 x 1, then .09 x 2
Shows on mine the bid is 0.011 . . . ETMM . . .
Yeah, I have a feeling this will hang around at these levels until the Christmas rush on merchandise. Announcment that more stores are opening will help this also.
Looks like more shares being sold by the company, see what it does to stock price tomorrow:
