biz the .0001 was about 6 months ago. gboed. .0001 friday and monday was .90s I believe. Forward split instead of reverse with scott trade.
one of their billings they actually charged the estate for something out of a vending machine. It was less than $2.
Hes talking in the $15 range+
He has always said 2xs value plus. Value is $7.62 or so.
Take the value and multiply it by 2.
anything can happen. I saw a stock on a Friday @.0001 and Monday it went to .90 Wamuq can easily be a dollar by mid June or less. So can Jpm for that matter. Go wamu!!!!!!
.01 average? thats odd considering I have never seen it trade below .02 except the day they announced bk and it was good luck getting in then.
creditors paid, nols, and the new company, we got action...
If we were to merge with them, they have $48 billion in nols. Tons and tons of debt. Go wamu!!!!!
Have fun! watch out for dimons in the water, lol. Go wamu!
yes they are. Thats the funny part. Be dirty and come out being the geniuses.
a merger will not take the years that you think. Attorney billings point to a merger. Coming back as a banking company helps with the merger.
I like that warren is involved with Goldman and he owns a reinsurance company as well. I thought we were going to be in the reinsurance business, but now some speculate on us going back to banking. Go wamu.
I see Y! is thinking Goldman might be on SG radar.
what about pay off preferreds and have the commons take over new company for the sale.
which hedgies and Jpm could be scooping up shares to lessen the blow for them and still have them making money out of it.
hochberg covered himself. he said he did not have enough time to finish his examination. A waste of money it was though.
Thia ia ridiculous. People saying preferreds have to be paid in full for commons to receive anything. Nowhere does it say that, except in chapter 7. Alot of people on here know the ins and outs of wamu. In fact a few know more about wamu than most of the lawyers working on the case. This was not toward you sly. Go wamu!
preferreds DO NOT have to get 100% face. In chapter 7 they would.
What a difference a few hundred dollars an hour make in the quality of an attorney. Funny thing is Rosen is at this constantly. Susman maybe 8 hours a week. FUBR!!!!!!
1 million shares @ .20 = $200,000
1 million shares sold @ $2.60 = $2,600,000 for him in about 3 years. $750,000 roughly a year for him. 95% of lawyers dont make half that a year as well as most medical doctors. Thats not chump change by any means. But then again, I have heard that someone makes a billion a year on penny stocks without being on a ec.
better yet they talk about us becoming a reinsurance company and the rumor they are searching for buyers. We have multibillions of dollars in Nols. I found a list of reinsurance companies here.
http://www.einsuranceprofessional.com/reinscomp.html
I see Berkshire Hathaway. This list could have one of the possible buyers.
better deal than investing in jpm no doubt about that.
so a measley $200k can get you a seat on the bod in a minimum $100m company.
we are having a hard time figuring the market out! Go wamu!
I stand by my statement until I am proven wrong. I did see that a stock was halted while in bankruptcy though. It halted because it was still being traded and the company stated that there would be no value for commons even under the most optimistic scenarios after it emerged from bk through the liquidation process.
Commons are intact here, so there will be no halt until the judge approves emerging from bk. My example is gmgm#.
I will go ahead and state they can not halt the stock until it exits bankruptcy. changing the cusip # might be under the same case.
pretty much, unless you buy and sell a stock in the same day. Unless I guess if you have a margin account.
I do not think that there can be any settlement or a buyout before the judge approves wamu exiting bankruptcy. Therefore shorts have time to cover.
I think when the judge approves the exit from bk, then a halt. If the judge has to approve the exit from bk.
can anything be done such as a speculated buyout or a payout now before the judge approves wamu exiting from bankruptcy. Any reputable poster can answer.
jack burns you sob you! I mean that in a good way. Now lets see any news release today that just happens to mention that the nols will be intact for the new company. I also said yesterday that the stock would drop today as it does with every court hearing basically. Go wamu!. Rosen, dont even start to think that you deserve credit for this you sorry pos.
I remember someone mentioning term sheet. Good job!
$100 million credit lines. Wtf, we dont need any credit lines, besides that is low anyway. Also ag billing yesterday, one statement said something about reissuance of common stock. Good day today. Go wamu. Fubr!
doesnt it always drop on court days anyways. something will be rescheduled to a later date tomorrow. Seems like that is always the case.
good point. Or could be postponed. oops. you pretty much said that. Go wamu!!!!!
so grind is back at psbj.
we are not in bk for what you're thinking.
fubr
First, I have never heard of any mm going to jail to date. Second, the mms make hundreds of millions or more every year. The only thing that happens to them is they get a small fine. About 10% (tens of millions to a hundred million or so.) They have nothing to lose. The fine goes to the govt. anyway. Go wamu.
is it necessary to post news that was posted atleast 6 times the day that it happened, not reposting it 3 days later.
saw it here first? whats that mean. You think you are in low at .05 There are atleast a dozen here who got in at .02
