money comes from preferred shares

anyone else notice the 25k bid VERT has up? could this be the block order buyback we're waiting for?

you guys ever consider that it could be the MMs trading sideways to increase the volume so that when the buyback does start if it hasn't already, it can do so at higher volume. The MMs will push this over 400M volume today even if they do only trade sideways.

Since they can only buyback up to that 25% of the average volume... or whatever... the MMs would have interest in keeping the volume high. Just my 2 cents, which happens to be my exit point too.

we need a PR on the buyback situation or a PR on the closing. Funding will begin the end of May so expect something in between... now and May 31.

although, it would make sense that if the company is diluting, people would be getting shares, MMs would easily know if it was dilution and wouldn't bother picking it up. No one is saying they're getting filled. Someone could be accumulating ALOT of shares. Hell, MMs could be passing around the same block of shares over and over again in different amounts to raise the volume and make it look like a huge dump. MMs keep shares at different amounts to be able to do what they want with them. MMs could also be holding shares and support the buyback by selling back to the company. They could be accumulating for the company indirectly, by buying to hold for the buy back to begin. I sure as hell can't tell anyone exactly what is going on and neither can any of you. Rick can, but he won't. A PR just might, but I doubt seeing one till May.

Reguarding the buyback, it is very possible that once is starts happening if it hasn't already, that the company will be buying back in blocks rather than slowly accumulating. In my opinion, when we see blocks of the same amount constantly going through the level 2's, its either dilution or the buyback. IMO, there's been a little of both. Probobly buying back at 2, and diluting at 3-4. I've been a long time supporter or this but I'm getting quite frustrated at the numbers the past 2 days.

In my opinion, they're still diluting because there was a pretty solid base at 3-4. I don't know who would sell for a loss or why when this has so much potential. I'm holding and will hold until June-July. I'd like to see this make a run but I don't think the structure is set up for it at the moment, even with a PR and that Bellwether report, I just don't see it running with a 7B float. (could be more now).

Don't hate, I'm just looking at both sides, and if it is dilution, remember the officers get their salary in shares so it is in their best interest to get the PPS up. Dilution at this point IMO if it is still going on is going to be for the best for the company, and in the long term will make things run smoother. It should also be the last we see of it because those preffered shares should become their primary stream of revenue when it comes to closings/funding.

i'll second this.. 21M is not enough for dilution.. think about it.. It's only 4200 dollars @ 2. What is Carol going to do with $4200 extra when her company just closed a huge loan and should already have 20-30 million sitting in the bank. Maybe they're opening a petty cash fund so she can buy something besides food off the dollar menu at McDonalds at lunch time.

any thoughts as to why the bid only stays with 3 MMs giving support? they seem to rotate ... NITE was on yesterday and so was HDSN and AUTO

with these 3 MMs on the ask at 3, expect a closing of 2x3. All of the MMs at 2 currently I believe were the MMs at 3 when the ask moved to 4. Don't worry about the bid too much. Worry about the ask. Those 3 MMs are going to thin out soon. Be sure to pay attention to NO 2 blocks coming through. No more dilution because it would be at the bid and barely any volume has been at the bid(2) today. I'm not including the volume at 3 when the MMs were 3x4.
Anyway, this looks good with a possible closing of 4 if we budge those 3 MMs

I really doubt they'd continue dilution since they have to buyback. It just wouldn't make any sense since they're making loads of money now and shouldn't need additional funds

hey cash, you have good insight into the way this company works and I for one know that they will have an amazing next few months. It seems that the negative is all in the past now and the gain will come as soon as we close that 400MM. Nothing's changed.. just waiting on the 400MM

MMs lowered to bid/ask to try and shake more shares for the buyback before raising the bid to 3x4. Watch for a raise to 3x4 as soon as 1x2 dries up, which wont take long

this is my last post so... i think the company is done buying back... if that is what was going on.. from what i read, they want a higher average pps for the next 30 days because it effects the value of the preferred shares... its all in the document on sunbiz, on the page with the 3 paragraphs about dividends, preferred shares and such

exactly, there must have been a buyback.. it matches the amendment being filed on the 7th. the only thing changed on the website was the current loans page
