EP--re: this chart...
Any Comments? Especially about the dark blue lines.
Is this a bull flag?, and if so, don't they yield more than most chart patterns? Better than ascending triangles...
Isn't this a good setup for a really BIG Boosh? I'm thinking it could run up to 8.50--9.00 before running out of breath...
Anything you see to the downside here? Like the 20X50 Crossover in light blue? Or this three day consolodation. Is this an "uptrend" or a "downtrend"? Our Volume has been weak of late--------News=Volume=Upside............TIA
CYTR is showing signs of life today...EOM
OT--LickitySplit--
I'm glad "someone" like my warped sense if humor...
I'll be cutting way back anyway, as half of my embedded messages don't show up anyway, since the IHUB server upgrage(/downgrade) that put banner ads at the top of the page this week...That is way more annoying than my jokes IMHO.
re: charting
I don't want to clutter up this board with chart tutoring, so go to my board--CYTR later today, and I'll leave you a post with a series of links to get you started, just the way I did. You can ask questions there as needed.
re: your entry into CTC
Your first day owning it was one heck of a wild ride, yes?
At least it rallied that day to actually close positive.
I knew it would go sub 4.00 briefly, but not like that...
Your entry around 4.00 is going to look real good this time next year IMO.
Later,
Musk
OK already!........I'll Quit It! This a.m.
cws9 asked me to quit the sounds, I said No problem.
Now, the animations get displeasure, so they are also history.
I knew this was coming, it got a bit out of hand.....
In the future,I will keep them small, infrequent, and only when appropriate to current circumstances.
Peace,
OT--Avatar--Oh well...
I'm taking a slight beating also, exiting slowly on this slide, almost all out if 1.32 breaks down. I plan to always hold a small core: I "believe" in this Company, just like CTC. I was hoping for something sooner, maybe later. Fast Track approval for Phase II on any of the drugs in their pipeline (espescially the HIV vaccine) will surely give a big boost in pps, also with being acquired by one of the big boys...I'll keep close touch with this one. My DD post on my board is coming maybe this weekend. CTC has taken my full attention this week...
Happy Hunting,
Musk
EP~Mostly kidding about the high close today, that's obviously not gonna happen with this lousy volume...and agree with your #'s. I like the looks of the ten day/hourly. If it breaks out, it could give us .30 from 4.42 but will be overbought on that chart, and without large volume and momentum, won't be able to punch up thru it IMO.
I notice your image host is down a lot. Try this one, it takes all kinds of files, and has very few restrictions: http://www.thefilebin.com/index.php Theirs always seems to work.
BTW CYTR fizzled out...
EP~a close today above 4.42 would:
Be a breakout on this nice double-bottom (or) cup and handle.
Close above the 50 hour EMA, and get the 20EMA to cross up over the 50. That could set us up for a good day tomorrow maybe. The volume today is on track to be one of the lowest in a while. We're gonna have to do better than this for that to happen..........
BIPH~starting to look kinda toppy...
Overbought on the 10 day/hourly.
It's gonna go test that 1.05 low maybe, and setup the second low--good entry point...
Good luck!
My take on the report--
You're right Willy, something BIG is about to happen. A BIG order is getting worked on right now. I got my finger ready to hit the
After this report from our competitor...
I just saw patsyc63 post this on RB:
News is making its rounds!
http://www.electricnet.com/content/news/article.asp?DocID=%7BFD498FDE-1A79-40CE-86CC-E2BAB960770C%7D....
Good News!
These items from the report I found to be interesting:
From the Letter to the Shareholders: (which I also think is very good~beigledog).
I am pleased to announce to our stockholders that the efforts of development of ACCC over the past 3 fiscal
years are ready to bear fruit. The cable has been thoroughly tested, undergone field trials and is in use in distribution
systems. We have added huge production capacity through our agreements with General Cable, one of the largest
producers in North America, and we are in negotiations with various partners to expand this effort internationally.
ACCC Cable is now commercially available from our subsidiary CTC Cable Corporation, as well as from
General Cable.
From the Q&A Section:
Q: What shares can I vote?
A: Each share of CTC common stock issued and outstanding as of the close of business on January 11, 2005,
the Record Date, is entitled to be voted on all items being voted upon at the annual meeting. You may vote
all shares owned by you as of this time, including (1) shares held directly in your name as the stockholder
of record (there were 548 stockholders of record on the record date) and (2) shares held for you as the beneficial
owner through a broker, trustee or other nominee such as a bank. More information on how to vote these shares
is contained in this proxy statement. On the Record Date we had approximately 113,511,414 shares of common
stock issued and outstanding.
Only 548 stockholders of record???
I thought that number would be much higher.
That averages out to only 20713.76 each, but of course you can't look at it that way...
Not much new in the financials, but there's a lot there I don't understand. Help Kenticus! TIA
I especially get a kick out reading "Risk Factors",there is some funny stuff printed there.
I bought into this company because of the Product!
Or should I say Products. If ACCC and the poles becomes the industry standard, we're not going to have to worry if Social Security will run out of money before it's time for us to retire. We'll be set for LIFE! GO CTC!

EP--re: CYTR
Good he didn't break 1.49-yesterdays low. Showing signs of life again now. I was hoping for the pop this a.m.-didn't happen...It was a mini pumpty-dumpty. I like the 50X200 crossover with the stochastic crossover. Volume today is weak, I'd be looking for a big jump in volume with momentum thru 1.65 before joining the party. I see a lazy double bottom/cup and handle forming on this chart, unfortunatly it won't yield much unless the above happens too. It is a consolodation in an uptrend... Interesting action at ThomsomFN today: http://thomson.finance.lycos.com/lycos/iwatch/cgi-bin/iw_ticker?t=CYTR&range=0&mgp=0&hda....
Look at the one week while there.

Check the one week chart while there.
I'd be using all my spare bullets about now...
We finally got that super high volume that usually signals a bottom. 3.40 should be safe. Let's hope for a move up as quickly as it went down. To be honest, this is getting kind of depressing. I sure hope it's over...
EP--I saw that 20 trying to cross up over the 50 also,
but failed to mention it. That's a buy signal for some. The last two daily candlesticks are hammers by the way. I see "bulls" written all over this chart. You see a .90 move up too? Good!
Tomorrow and beyond could be very interesting.
re: CPTC--do you see the bull flag forming from the high of 6.36 till now--lower lows, lower highs?
I can't believe how oversold it is now...But just when things look bleakest, they turn around.
G'night,
Musk
One additional fact I missed "from the Prophet":
This guy is a wizard with charts! I'm going to purchase a subscription with his chart vendor so I can make my charts look as good as his.

"That 50 X 200 cross is very nice. If it can convince people it will stay above 1.50, it does probably have a nice boosh in it, 2.50 minumum."
He's takling about the 50 day Moving Average crossing up over the 200 day Moving Average. Usually a buy signal. I also forgot to mention that todays candlestick is a hammer, with a hammer also the day before. I'm not too worried about the "gaps" the last 3 days, as it has traded in that zone for a long time.
EP sees a possible .90 boosh in this one. Me too. Not too shabby...

babycakes--this three year is Sweeter:
Nice and smooth, slow and steady. Except for this pop that I have a "feeling" is coming soon. I'm looking at it hard at the open. It's at the top of my list for a day or so. I'll keep you all advised if i see fireworks. This chart's good for daytraders and swingtraders. It's easier trading with market orders, this one's already on the Nasdaq. Stochastics work good for buy and sell signals on the ten day/hourly.
Perfect long term entry here. A year and a half consolodation in an uptrend, forming a bull flag--lower lows, lower highs. Nice double bottom forming here at the second low, which found support at the old resistance level of 1.05 of April '02. Bail with some at 1.09 and the rest at .93
Highest volume week ever on good news last week (followed by news about share dilution the next day??? Oh well, that's to be expected with a startup company. It held up well.) Today there was 1.2 million shares buy interest at ThomsonFN: http://thomson.finance.lycos.com/lycos/iwatch/cgi-bin/iw_ticker?t=CYTR&range=0&mgp=0&hda....
I'm in and adding as it moves up. I'm hoping to make this a long term holding, like CPTC, only with him it's gonna take a little longer now... They have a bunch of good things in the pipeline, like a possible vaccine for HIV. Check out my board, all kinds of links to more info. I only noticed him for the first time ever last week when I saw it going by on the CNBC ticker with a Lot of volume and up 53% intraday. I did some DD, and went for it. Why not? There's not a lot else to do these days...this year is getting off to a Rough start...At least this one's not dumping like the rest of the market has.
Later on,
Musk

Post #of 6431
Possible breakout on CYTR--TOMORROW:
Cup and handle forming in the last two days,
Today=the cup-(kind of)is an ascending triangle.
Last three days looks almost like an inverse head and shoulders.
It closed today at 1.60 The high today was 1.63
The volume has been MUCH higher than average lately.
Today, ThomsonFN showed 1.2 million buy interest. That's the most in the last month.
Stochastics say oversold, already moving up.
If it opens higher, and takes out the 1.63 quick,
the next resistance is around 1.73 to 1.80
If it takes that out there is no resistance up to 2.00
The three month chart shows it has broken out of a couple of key resistance levels.
This stock has been consolodating in an uptrend since June '03. The longer the consolodation=the bigger the pop(correct?). They have gotten some very good news lately, with the exception of share dilution as their last PR.
That's just a part of what they have to do at this stage of their development IMO.
All bets are off if it doesn't Boosh in the first half hour of trading IMO. What do you think EP/anyone?
I'm adding at 1.75 and 1.81

GO CYTR! I expect a breakout to the upside tomorrow...
LS--You're Welcome...
All I can say about todays action now that we're closed is:
DOUBLE OUCH!!! At least we closed above 4.00
Sorry Bro' Bo' but I'm gonna say it again:
We need news, we need news, we need NEWS!
Ah, maybe we don't, talk about oversold!!!
On every time frame on the charts except the weekly.
I don't like the fact we broke below the 50day Moving Average today. I really have no idea what comes next...
We "should" go up from here, but your guess is as good as any.
I'm going to sell some of my non-moving holdings, and dollar down on CTC in this area myself if we start up tomorrow.
We are up to 900K Buy Interest at ThomsonFN:

Indeed, a vaccine for HIV would be pretty awesome...
Make that "400K" shares...
bigpike--I don't get Barron's, I got a Fidelity news alert, but thanks for bringing that to our attention.

"Small-molecule metabolic programs are likely to provide partner news."
I'm "in" partly because of the "possibility" of CYTR being bought by one of the big players: Merc, Phizer, etc. The pps should get a nice rise if that happens.
