Security vendor McAfee has detected a new piece of malicious software that masquerades as part of the Firefox Internet browser.

McAfee calls the Trojan horse "FormSpy." Trojan horses are programs, often attached to spam e-mail, that appear innocuous but are harmful to a computer.

FormSpy is downloaded to a computer that is already infected with another Trojan horse called "Downloader-AXM," McAfee said. That Trojan was recently detected in e-mail spam messages.

Downloader-AXM contacts servers to download other malicious programs to a computer without a user's knowledge, according to McAfee.

Stealing Information
Once downloaded, FormSpy installs itself as a Firefox extension.

The program appears as "NumberedLinks 0.9" extension, McAfee said. The extension normally would allow a user to navigate links by numbers using the keyboard rather than a mouse.

Then, FormSpy can transmit information in a Web browser to another Web site, which could include credit card numbers, passwords, and electronic banking pin numbers, according to McAfee.

FormSpy can also steal e-mail, ICQ instant messaging service, and FTP (file transfer protocol) passwords, it said.

A small note to say that I do appreciate your dialog. Several months ago a good friend told me about EXBX so I really started to DD it. I love speculative stock plays, especially if they have serious potential to become an economic investment and not just a trading stock.

The more I read about Exobox, the more clearer its potential becomes to me as to just what this company is about. In the last several months I have been looking for any other company's AV software that even comes close to Exobox's. The search always comes back as NONE found!

Still without the split it appears that Dell had a serious run from an eq .04 starting point to a 65,600% lifetime gain by March 2000 according to this Forbes chart.

DELL had The monster run to a 65,600% lifetime gain by March 2000 didn't begin until 1993, five years after the IPO.

I do anticipate that the shareholder base has grown greatly since that filing you looked at came out.

This stock is trading in the gray so it can be very volatile.

The jump in Feb was do to the OSR PR that came out before that with a combination of the gray market..IMO. If you read the PR you will may be able to see the potential in that one as well.

FBI Awards COMSO First Task Order Under TSDP Contract
July 2004 – COMSO scored a major coup in securing its first task order award under the FBI's Technology Support and Development Project (TSDP), a $42.5 million contracting set-aside for small businesses. Task Order #1 will provide the full range of software maintenance and enhancement support services for the FBI's Financial Systems Unit (FSU) of the Information Resources Division. COMSO was joined by subcontractor Dynamic Systems Solutions, Inc. in its winning proposal, which highlighted COMSO's experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing financial and administrative applications as well as its expertise in helping customers transition systems to client/server technology with Web-based front ends and Oracle back end.

The task order, scheduled to begin August 2, 2004, could run for five years if the FBI exercises all options. COMSO will provide eleven IT professionals to support the FBI at its headquarters in downtown Washington. FBI Awards COMSO First Task Order Under TSDP Contract
July 2004 – COMSO scored a major coup in securing its first task order award under the FBI's Technology Support and Development Project (TSDP), a $42.5 million contracting set-aside for small businesses. Task Order #1 will provide the full range of software maintenance and enhancement support services for the FBI's Financial Systems Unit (FSU) of the Information Resources Division. COMSO was joined by subcontractor Dynamic Systems Solutions, Inc. in its winning proposal, which highlighted COMSO's experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing financial and administrative applications as well as its expertise in helping customers transition systems to client/server technology with Web-based front ends and Oracle back end.

The task order, scheduled to begin August 2, 2004, could run for five years if the FBI exercises all options. It's not often one can find such a play such as EXBX. I've searched for many years high and low for another DELL, YHOO or MSFT and IMO, we have found it with EXBX.

Personally, I think that we all owe the EXBX Management Team, as they are the ones that have put the many “Great Dynamics” in position to propel this company into orbit from here.

My goal is to expose the EXBX potential to as many "needy" potential shareholders/investors as possible. A good shareholder base is powerful and a company that truly cares about shareholders is few and far between. Thank You Exobox for setting this up for shareholders!

Looks interesting. However, after using Microsoft Vista for over a month now I am afraid that Microsoft has beat them to the punch. Much of the "unique" security functions that Exobox refers to are included in Vista. Vista treats everything as malicious and requires user varification to execute anything that could potentially be malicious.

I have requested a copy of the white paper and will read over it. I am just afraid that it's too late for exobox. The only real potential I see is capturing the "we can't afford to upgrade to Vista" market, and if this is the case what will their pricing model be?

In all due respect, Microsoft Vista is the next generation of Microsoft's operating system but it is very far behind in the SECURITY end of the field compared to Exobox. It still uses a reactive approach and Microsoft states that "you should help keep your computer healthy by using antivirus software such as Windows OneCare or an antivirus solution from one of Microsoft's partners. Whichever option you choose, remember to update your antivirus software regularly. These updates are generally available through a subscription from your antivirus vendor.

Vista is not a a proactive software and it still needs to be updated via patches, hence is NO comparision to Exobox.

EXBX Compared to DELL

If you have never seen a penny stock become an Economic investment then take a look at this one....it is called DELL

Right now Dell is trading at a $50Billion Market Cap. Look at this chart below. It was in the pennies in the year 88-89 area.

From what I can tell, $1,000 invested then would have made one a multimillionaire and I mean a 8-9 digit, Multi-Millionaire with all of the forward splits alone.


EXBX has the potential, IMO. If I did not believe this to be so, I would not say it.
