Wonway,
There are companies that do the drug disposal thing with the use of grinding/heating etc. One is SMED Sharpes Compliance another is Tempico which I believe is a private company. I am sure there are many others. The problem with compliance is the cost.
It would be interesting to know if a KDS could be modified to meet the needs of one of Companies for this purpose?
I have sent KDS information to many waste Companies, I should send it to both of these later Today.
If any longs really want to give FASC a Boost, just send FASC information to various waste companies in your State. That is the area I believe we will have our future growth even more than the positive things we have heard about already.
Waste is an issue every where. Waste to energy, raw material for re-use etc. is going to be a huge issue/need for the future.
This is where Hong Kong can be "big" for us"?
RJ
Waite,
When the PPS is .47 You and I can invite the winner to meet us at Big Boys for a Great and Wonderful Strawberry pie party!!!!!
Until then........?
RJ
TR,
Your projections do not disapoint me. Mine tend to be a little high at times!!!!!!!!! Any way you look at it, I am in for the ride!
I talked to Mainland Machinery yesterday. He could not share anything, but just like Brain says..."Good things coming soon"
By the way, the Gentleman I talked to is a FASC shareholder.
Call my DD a little social and a little lazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RJ
Hi TR,
With your being a CPA, you know that immediate revenue growth from sales will not necessarily become immediate cash flow. And quite often just the opposite for a while. I'll let you fill in the rest and the whys.
I also am expecting sales to grow gradually from this point forward. Probably a couple multiple sales this next year? How-ever FASC does need to increase staff and that will increase over-head. Then there is Cals estate, Brian and Cals debts for Salary's, stock options etc.
Growth with out cashflow can strangle a small company like FASC.
How-ever with that being said.......I like Sam .....am still holdin'!!!
...from my Dad...it is the un-armed Gambler that seems to always shoot himself in the foot!!!
...my wife says...in the _____ (back-end)!!!
....she also says she is trusting me? I wonder how long that is going to last if FASC does not work out!!! ???
RJ
deamon,
"brian may still have 7+ great years at the helm left in him. "
Brian probably does, but what is his responsible thinking? and what is he doing with it? .....and he is done financing the business himself anymore. He and Cal had been supplying the carry over loans in addition to carrying their salaries.
Either way, I am glad that Brian is interested in our thoughts and preparing an update with respects to what he hears from us.
It has been a long time coming but I am glad that he did not just submit garbage just to please us. I differ with Brian in how I would handle many things, but it is his party and in my opinion
I either trust him or move on. FASC is nothing with out Brian at the moment and I think it is his intentions to rectifiy that.
RJ
FASC,
Brian is out of the office for a few days. He is slow at getting back but usually he does.
I do not know what the best way is to go, but I am putting a strong consideration in to Brian being 74 and nobody else to handle things if something was to happen to him?
Whether the additional shares is absolutely necessary or just to make it easier to get money if and when he needs it is a question?
I do like TR's summaries as to what the needs are.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
RJ
Al,
Not per Brian,
Mainland Machine can start one per week, it still takes a month to complete. Mainland Machine will finance only one at a time.
FASC can tap in to other Manufactures. I beleive that our best profits are when we work with Mainland.
Later,
RJ
Al,
You make my point, Do you Trust Brian? That is where you make your decision. He can not tell you what was yet an unkown to him.
Read the 10Q and email Brian (FASC) your own questions.
....and I did tell people to send respectful emails directly to Brian ....and .....I do not have to share here.
I have said many times here, we still have a Gamble.
RJ
TR,
I agree, I think Brian is getting things in order. I do not think for a minute he will ask for the shares with-out positive news to pre-ceed it. In my opinion the shares would be used carefully due to Brian being very conservative.
Brian himself does not beleive he can locate enough shareholders for a yes vote.
RJ
Fasctrack,
"Brian needs to clearly communicate a business plan "
As I have been told by Brian and I think I have shared here. After Cals passing, Brian needed to develope a business plan before he could share it. In order to develope one he needed to find out what he could do and with what. Also wanted to see if projects quoted were going to come to fruitation.
Why was I told this? I asked, and I kept being told he would share it when he knew he was telling something that would be real, not changing.
I hope this helps. I do not know much, but I have asked lots of questions. The most common answers are "we will be happy", "I cannot share anything at this time", " I will share when I know I can" "I do not want to tell people things that may not come to reality", and such. I just read between the lines asking enough questions. It is easiest to ask about something written like previous PR's and 10Q's. He does comment carefully on things already written about.
I think when we invest in FASC at this time we are investing in Brian. The question is.....do you trust him?
We all have opinions based on our own DD. Even with DD we can not be sure of anything!
RJ
Waite,
If it is true that we have growth (multiple sales) going forward as the 10Q seems to imply it will take cash to finance building more than one machine at a time as FASC has done in the past.
RJ
Fasctrack,
What ever we think, it is Brians call when Brian knows what he can and cannot do. He is not accustomed to handling that part of the business. Cal handled the PR's, Shareholders etc. I asked Brian many detailed and pointed questions pertaining to the last 10Q and that is what has led me to my current thinking. "Brian wants to be sure what ever he shares with us is reality". He is still dealing with uncertainties even though he knows more than he did about what he can do.
I am not defending Brian, just sharing what is.
RJ
TR,
I told Brian that Shares would be wasted at the current PPS. He agreed and said he was not that stupid. He said he is aware he
has not given us an update but wants to make sure that when he shares something it is real.
RJ
Hi Fasctrack,
bnichols@fasc.net
Brian is a calm and serious person. Much different personality than Cal. He returns most respectful and serious emails as he has time.
Thanks,
RJ
Fasctrack,
Yes, and fortunately Brian is interested in our thoughts. It will help him make decisions.
Send an respectful email to him,
RJ
Sunspotter,
Fortunately the update PR will be public. and Fortunately Shareholders have the right to submit a RFI anytime they want for anything they want. How-ever FASC is limited to the answers they can give, but the answers can be made public.
RJ
PS....and yes a Company like FASC is always a Gamble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Net,
You and TR can call me at my Company Phone, Waite has the Number and I think that TR and Waite Email.
RJ
Net,
All your thoughts are legit and should be thought out thoroughly by Brian. I also will pass on what I am hearing from you and TR.
RJ
Net,
Share these thoughts with Brian.
RJ
TR,
I could not have said it better. Beginning to End!
Please email the same to Brian. He will pass on to his
people handling this process.
RJ
Net,
Brian is 74 and it is my understanding that he will not be financing the Company himself anymore. He has shared with me that he needs a staff and does not have the funds to hire.
You can ask Brian yourself if you want. He may be able to explain better.
There is also the question....what do you want to know from the company before you would vote any more shares?
RJ
Hi Net,
Maybe you could share that with Brian in an email. Thanks for Sharing here. We learn from each other and I appreciate your input.
Thanks again,
RJ
Everyone,
What information would you like from FASC before a vote is
requested? Share thoughts, comments, questions etc.
Email the Company, respectfully please and please share here.
Note: I will be voting to approve 200 mil shares. This is expensive to do and to seek additional shares later would be wastful. I want to see the company to afford a legit and permanent staff. I also would like to see a debt free book keeping. Your thoughts and opinions count.
RJ
TR,
In the most part I agree with you, how-ever in a small Company like this one there would be more personal dialogue.
If Brian was 50 years old I would agree even more. Brian is 74 and needs a complete and permanent Staff to handle the growth.
Brian has assured me he will be around to monitor and oversee.
Do you have a preference of a Preferred or Common stock offering?
Can you share any other thoughts. We are at a cross roads and it
is imperative we do something.
RJ
Hi Everyone,
On a serious note. I am asking my Shareholder friends that are not on IHUB as well as IHUB. Is there any interest in a Shareholders meeting? Where do you think the meeting should take place?
Also, Share your thoughts on Preferred Shares, Common Shares,
Shareholders rights offerings or other.
I am speaking as a shareholder not for the Company but to the Company.
RJ
Net,
My understanding from Brian is that when he has a staff that the problem of updates should be solved. There are many things that Cal did that he does not have time for. He is concentrating on dealing with growing and establishing the business while getting help from the attorney and others on things he can not share at this time. He is and has been quoting quite heavily over the last two years and some of these look like they are comming to fruition. He is not able to share that information until sales are complete and can be made public.
I think Brian is under much stress and needs a staff that he cannot afford at this time. Profits and additional shares will ease this pressure and help him satify Cals estate (Salaries) and he does not know what is happening there yet.
He sounds positive but does not want to give out information about future events that may proove different .
I have talked with Brian about the CFO position and he has emailed me asking for my opinion and advise. I do not know his position or decisions, He only asked questions. Brian had to becareful as not to violate any SEC rules and told me that upfront.
Yes, I visit with Brian at times. Sometimes he sounds stressed and other times relaxed. I can relate.
Net, I with you will be patient.
disclaimer: FASC is still a Gamble, but one I have chosen to take.
RJ
AL,
I know you were not implying secrecy. Knowing that many of the KDS customers have secrecy agreements with FASC etc as to how the KDS is working within their system, I was just meaning that this does not seem to be the case with the Paper sludge mills.
RJ
Al343,
The one KDS placed was still a study this last summer. They are working on improving through put effeciency, but they love the end product. FASC has been there a few times working with them. When Through put is solved they intend on purchasing KDS machines for their other paper plants.
If anyone reads the WRAP study they will get an understanding of what problems the KDS machine has with through put and the inefficiency of having to have one man deal with it in addition to the loader. To get the cost benefit this part needs to be automated.
per calls I made a few months ago. Nothing really secret here by them, just a way to process their waste into a useable product for energy or other.
Not recent, and is probably the same information you got when you talked with them.
RJ
Waite,
I am glad you are puting a buy order in, we need something to drive the price back up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The thing that surprises me is how share price could be this low
with all the "irons" in the fire? You would think that the "one's in the know" would be buying up the shares?
I am looking forward to HONG KONG information. I called Brian asking when news would come out. He could not tell me but he is working with them in HONG KONG and it is going well. Another words the same thing he has told others here.
I am believing that 2012 is our year. from this time forward I beleive we will continue as a profitable company. Although I would like "Cisco" type growth, I do not see that happening.
Good luck and I hope you get your FASC shares at the price you were hoping for.
.47 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JR
Rex,
You did warn every one!!!
RJ
dd,
Peach came into this shell during the RGNO days. He, Pizza, GG and many others pumped the hell out of it. I started hot and later became a skeptic. I took a lot of flack for it.
My pay off was a tax write off! It would have been better to not take the tax write off to keep the wife from finding out how stupid I was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But so far I have always been honest..... not sure if it paid off?
No more pennies for me!!!! ....once I sell my very last one.
RJ
TR,
Agree again.
RJ
TR,
I agree big time.
RJ
Charlie,
I do agree with looking out for her how-ever ...
once again we are talking about a bunch of unknowns, this is where Brain is quiet and not at liberty? He does say he is in communication with her.
RJ
TR,
Not worried, just cautious.....and listening!
I have other possible questions also. I do agree with your 2012 projections though that I am thinking a bit higher.
RJ
Charlie,
From conversations I had with Cal in the past, I am not sure if Cal's widow is strapped for cash unless he kept his funds in seperate accounts unaliable to her. His money may be tied up in probate????
RJ
TR,
I will agree with you if the Cash comes in time and the Judge or estate are not to aggressive. I am optimisticly cautious not negative on FASC. I would hate for anyone to buy or sell on my opinions at this time. Just sharing,
RJ
Sam,
I am saying FASC, but have you been spying on me, I did have an altercation with a Mitre Saw Friday! Nicked my Thumb and six stitches in my index finger, nicked the bone but no break!!!
I am feeling verrrrry lucky!
RJ
Hi F,
I just have questions and I have stated some of them here before.
We have lots of unknowns. I am holding, but look at the current possible sell off if that is what it is? We know of up and comming success's and interest in the KDS. But we do not know about Cal's estate as far as dealing with Salaries etc. This is why I will vote new shares. Something is better than "Nothing"
I am not worried about Cal's shares, they can be sold into the Market.
My opinion and it is not necessarily correct,
RJ
Express,
20K worth of fun!!!!
We got the entertainment value, someone else got the money!
