All great points good sir. I would think that Lifeloc would want to be front and center at the March 15th conference since they already have products approved for use by the NHTSA.
You have to think that the selling that has been occurring over the last couple months will subside and if we can get some investor interest and find some momentum, we should see a run to catch up with BLOZF. These companies traded hand in hand at the beginning and I have to go back to the fact that BLOZF has never produced a dollar of revenue. What they have going for them is a great management team and a professional PR firm that continues to inflate the stock price.
In regards to the Drugged Driving Initiative scheduled for March 15 that is sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration:
"Lifeloc's professional units are tested and approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)"
NHTSA is bringing together key stakeholders—including safety partners (Lifeloc should fit in here); state and local elected officials; data and policy experts; law enforcement and criminal justice professionals; toxicologists and drug recognition experts—to join the U.S. DOT in setting a course of action and taking measurable steps to address the nation’s drugged-driving problem.
The summit will explore best practices for educating the public on the overall risk of drug-impaired driving - Lifeloc is your single source for alcohol testing equipment, drug screening supplies and education.
In my opinion, Lifeloc should absolutely be represented at this conference and have a major say in setting a course of action and taking measurable steps to address the nation’s drugged-driving problem.
I find it daunting to have to keep asking the CEO to provide an update on any progress being made in regards to the marijuana breathalyzer and having the shareholders being kept in the dark about everything.
Social media has been stagnant, revenue growth has been stagnant, earnings have been stagnant, news has been stagnant and we are directly involved in an industry that is growing by the day.
As a long time shareholder, I believe there is an easy way to start building momentum and that requires some effort on the part of management.
Someone has decided to open up a short position in LCTC down near it lows:
http://shortsqueeze.com/?symbol=lctc&submit=Short+Quote%E2%84%A2
This company is sitting at a market cap of less than $15 Million while BLOZF is close to $200 Million.
It's time for management or the CEO to step up to the plate and let the investors know that they are still in the game and making progress. I have been unimpressed by the quarterly reports especially in a sector with this much growth moving forward. Lifeloc should at least be recording quarterly growth of 10% or more. Maybe it's time to shake things up over there and get things moving in the right direction.
There is tremendous potential here but we have been stagnant in growth and stock price. Time to get things moving and squeeze this short out at higher prices.
SPECTRAL SIGNATURE DRUG DETECTION Patent Info:
This appears to be one of the patents Lifeloc is using to create their version of the Marijuana Breathalyzer
https://patents.justia.com/patent/20160061807
The technology disclosed herein may be used to detect drugs with potential for abuse within a human subject. This technology may be particularly useful to discriminate between drugs of abuse, corresponding psychoactive compounds, and corresponding metabolite byproducts, which are often closely related and possess similar chemical structures. The disclosed technology uses infrared light reflectance characteristics particular to one or more chemical compounds to be detected for identification of those compounds within the human subject.
At least the following drugs of abuse may be identified in breath condensate specimens: alcohol, methadone, amphetamine, methamphetamine, 6-acetylmorphine, morphine, benzoylecgonine, cocaine, diazepam, oxazepam, alprazolam, buprenorphine, and Delta-9-THC using the presently disclosed technology.
The device may be packaged as a portable device for use by law enforcement or other personnel to quickly and easily analyze a test specimen for the presence of one or more drug or other chemical analytes.
Lifeloc Technologies Patent Information:

Lifeloc was granted two patents in 2017 and has a total of 11 patents.
My interest is in the one for SPECTRAL SIGNATURE DRUG DETECTION - Application #20160061807

Lifeloc also received a couple patents from the R.A.D.A.R. device purchase, including the current device inventory, manufacturing assets, monitoring software, and the intellectual property which includes issued and pending U.S. patents, along with associated international applications.
The global breath analyzers market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 26.3%:
http://www.satprnews.com/2018/01/30/breath-analyzers-market-by-technology-by-application-by-end-user-analysis-global-forecast-to-2019-healthcare-medical-devices-industries/
The global breath analyzers market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 26.3% from 2014 to 2019, to reach $1.5 Billion by 2019 from $479.3 million in 2014. The market is driven by several factors such as increasing consumption of alcohol worldwide, and stringent law enforcement by various governments to curb drunken driving. Increasing alcohol consumption has led to a rise in the demand for BAC testing devices such as breath analyzers. In response, governments in specific countries have reduced the legal limit of blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and have increased field breath testing activities. Advancing technology, increased portability, and multiple applications of these devices are some of other factors expected to drive the market growth during the forecast period.
The breath analyzers market is highly fragmented with many small and large players. Companies in this market focus on growth strategies such as new product launches; agreements, partnerships, collaborations and joint ventures; expansions; acquisitions; marketing and promotion; and others (certifications, patents, grants, product approvals, and product deployments) to increase their customer base.
The major players in the global breath analyzers market include Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA (Germany), EnviteC-Wismar GmbH (Germany), Lifeloc Technologies (U.S.), BACtrack, Inc. (U.S.), Quest Products, Inc. (U.S.), Akers Biosciences, Inc. (U.S.), Intoximeter, Inc. (U.S.), AK GlobalTech corporation (U.S.), Alcohol Countermeasure Systems Corporation (Canada), among others.
It appears that the recent upward move in BLO/BLOZF has created some renewed interest in the marijuana breathalyzer sector. LCTC, VNTH, and BICB all with increased volume and nice moves higher this week.
Does anyone have any other names that could be included in the safety or marijuana/cannabis breathalyzer space that trade publicly?
Thanks!
The BLOZF board contains a wealth of great information but I do not feel it would be something they would embrace. I absolutely feel that with a market cap of over $250 Million on BLOZF it is going to take a very significant news release to move it over $3.00, where it will not take much for LCTC to trade into the teens. LCTC is a very thin stock is not for everyone but it's overdue to play some catch up to BLOZF. Thanks!
Friday's volume was entirely on the buy side and we were able to break up to a three month high. However, I still notice a seller that keeps coming back to prevent it from really taking off. I have to think that seller is close to being finished. There is still a very limited number of shares in the float and once this seller is out of the way we can really see some upward momentum.
Here's why I am selling off more of my BLOZF and picking up additional shares of LCTC:
BLOZF has a market cap of $231 Million, while LCTC is valued at $16 Million. The market is valuing Cannabix over 14 times that of LCTC.
For Cannabix to increase 50-100% from these prices, it's going to take a significant news release or final breathalyzer product. BLOZF was not able to hold up today as it went for a new high and is signaling a reversal.
For LCTC to increase 50-100% from these levels will not take much. 1 buyer that wants shares can take us there.
BLOZF has over $110 Million fully diluted shares. This number is going to increase monthly while LCTC has not increased the outstanding shares in years.
LCTC at some point in the near future is going to have to play some catch up to BLOZF. The charts were moving in an identical pattern up until recently when BLOZF left LCTC in the dust.
The entire float in LCTC can still be locked up for less than $2 million.
Today was a good sign of increased interest in LCTC. The volume was the highest in it's trading history.
I have sold off some BLOZF and taken my position up in LCTC today. I think this will be the appropriate move and we will find out shortly if I am correct.
Highest Volume Day in Lifeloc's trading history. Would have loved to see it close at or close to the high of the day but seeing this volume is a harbinger of something.
Drug Screening Market Worth 8.63 Billion USD by 2022:
http://www.menafn.com/1096352721/about.html
Breathalyzers are expected to dominate the drug screening products market in 2017.
The Drug Screening Market is highly competitive with the presence of several small and big players. Some of the players offering products for Drug Screening Market include Alere (US), Thermo Fisher (US), Siemens Healthineers (US), Alfa Scientific Designs (US), Roche (Switzerland), MPD, Inc. (US), Shimadzu (Japan), OraSure (US), Lifeloc (US), and Drägerwerk (Germany). On the other hand, LabCorp (US), Quest Diagnostics (US), Psychemedics (US), Omega Laboratories (US), CRL (US), SureHire (Canada), and CannAmm (Canada).
Lifeloc technologies is in the top 10 for drug screening companies and this segment is expected to be worth close to $9 Billion in the next 5 years.
If Lifeloc were to capture only 1% of this market it would bring in revenues of $86 Million/year.
Lifeloc is currently valued at just $15 Million.
This stock is way undervalued here just from it's drug screening products division let alone the breathalyzer division.
Breathalyzer Market 2018- Intoximeters, Lion Laboratories Limited, Lifeloc Technologies:
http://thenewscolumnist.com/2018/01/16/global-point-care-breathalyzer-market-2018/
This report lists Lifeloc as the #3 Leading Player and Manufacturer Analysis
The new legislation in Canada is very clear that they are going to be using an oral saliva-based device for roadside testing, unless the Senate doesn't pass the legislation and the Government changes their mind.
“SpinDx can run multiple assays in a minute from a single drop of blood, saliva or other bodily fluid, making it a great fit in Lifeloc Technologies’ work in helping to detect drug abuse,”
Feasibility of detection has already been demonstrated for very low levels of delta-9-THC, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
I think we should start with a simple drug test for welfare recipients if anything. I agree that there is no way a drug test would ever be used for routine doctor visits. What are they going to do if half the country tests positive for some type of drug use. I was just thinking that Lifeloc could stand to benefit tremendously from anything along those lines.
I find it hard to believe that BLOZF is trading at a twelve times multiple to that of Lifeloc without BLOZF ever producing a dollar of revenue anywhere.
I have talked with the CEO of Lifeloc on multiple occasions about either hiring a professional PR service, uplisting to Nasdaq or implementing a stock split to increase the float but to no avail. No social media updates, no news, no word on updates makes it tough to build awareness for this company. I would like to see some growth in the quarterly reports as the sector it sits in continues to experience tremendous growth.
I would also like to see this thing take off one of these days and bring some new investors with it.
Thanks for touching base and all the best!

Lifeloc has made over $6 million each year it has been a public company
Cannabix has yet to produce a sale or record even a dollar of revenue
Lifeloc does not deserve a market cap of less than $20 Million while Cannabix sits at over $250 Million.
LCTC has to trade higher and play some catch up.
Blozf market cap = 257.5 Million
Lifeloc market cap = 19.9 Million
Cannabix is valued at 13 times that of Lifeloc.
Congrats to all those invested short and long term in Cannabix!
If Lifeloc had a market cap comparable to that of BLOZF, we would have a price of $105.
I do feel LCTC is way undervalued here and has to play some catch up.
Development work continues on the real time, quantitative analysis for a panel of drugs including THC utilizing the SpinDx™ technology licensed from Sandia Corporation and the closely related THC breathalyzer. This work has demonstrated the detection of very low quantities of THC, but more work is needed to reduce this to a practical device.
Companies working on first marijuana/cannabis breathalyzer:
Public companies working on the first marijuana/cannabis breathalyzer include:
LCTC - Lifeloc Technologies - Thanks in part to a $250,000 grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development, Lifeloc scientists have come up with a method that can not only detect the presence of Delta 9 THC in a person's exhaled breath, it can also identify the metabolite separately. BLO (BLOZF) - Cannabix Technologies - Cannabix Technologies Inc. is a leader in marijuana breathalyzer development for law enforcement and the workplace. Cannabix has established breath testing technologies in the pursuit of bringing durable, portable hand-held tools to market to enhance detection of marijuana impaired driving offences on roads at a time when marijuana is becoming legal in many global jurisdictions. Cannabix is working to develop drug-testing devices that will detect THC- the psychoactive component of marijuana that causes intoxication- using breath samples.
BICB - Biocube Inc. Biocube and its strategic partner, IUT Medical, have developed the CannaSens Delta9, a portable marijuana breathalyzer, using sophisticated technology to identify the presence of THC, the active ingredient in cannabis.
VNTH -Nano Mobile Healthcare - THE NANO MOBILE SENSOR will be used by law enforcement to detect the presence of marijuana on a driver’s breath. The Nano Mobile Sensor and its application will provide in-the-moment results with a goal of making our roads safer for all drivers and creating a more effective tool for law enforcement.
Private companies working on it include Hound Labs out in Calif., Owlstone nanotech, Washington state university, and a couple overseas firms.
With marijuana use continuing to see explosive worldwide growth, I have seen estimates for the safety device industry as high as $10 Billion.
As marijuana legalization spreads across the country and the world, the need to get rapid and reliable testing methods to law enforcement officers will only increase. "There's no projections right now for how big the marijuana breathalyzer market will be but with close to 18,000 U.S. state and local law enforcement agencies as of July 2016, the market is huge." The marijuana breathalyzer and cannabis safety industry is projected to be a $10 Billion market.

What I also find interesting is that the last 3 days the volume coming into LCTC is on the sell side and it still trades higher. Let's see what we can do when we get some buy side volume. This has plenty of room to move higher to play a little catch up to BLOZF.
The volume in LCTC, BLOZF and VNTH makes it look like money is coming into the space. Granted, the whole cannabis/marijuana sector was screaming higher today but VNTH had its best volume in months, BLOZF has been on a tear with good volume and LCTC has increased volume.
Hound labs seems to be the frontrunner in the space:

Lifeloc Technologies - LCTC is currently expanding and hiring in Calif.
"Lifeloc Technologies is looking for experienced Substance Abuse Professionals to work as Lifeloc Certified Master Trainers and Equipment Distributors. Territories of immediate interest include Southern California."
Lifloc is currently working on the first marijuana breathalyzer:
"Development work continues on the real time, quantitative analysis for a panel of drugs including THC utilizing the SpinDx™ technology licensed from Sandia Corporation and the closely related THC breathalyzer. At Lifeloc's current price the entire stock float can be locked up for a mere $1.9 Million (Current float of 289,999 x Current price $6.50) There are not too many other stocks where the entire stock float can be bought for less than $2 Million.
Lifeloc's closest competitor in the marijuana breathalyzer sector would be Cannabix (BLOZF). Cannabix has a current market cap of $194 Million (94.9 Million shares outstanding x Current price of $2.05). Lifeloc has a market cap of of just $16 Million (2.45 Million shares outstanding x Current Price $6.50) . The market is valuing Cannabix at 12 times that of Lifeloc. Cannabix has never had a sale, revenue, or profit in its company's history. Lifeloc has been profitable with revenues over $6 million every year since it has been a public company.
With the recent run up in Cannabix, I think LCTC is due to play a little catch up in the sector and with it's price towards the low end of the chart and progress being made on the marijuana breathalyzer, it looks like a possible investment here.
Nice Find. Maybe they are gearing up for new sources of revenue out there. Right now BLOZF is valued at over 12 times that of Lifeloc. That seems like a hefty premium for a company with no sales history.
I think LCTC down here is a good investment. We are at the low end of the chart and anything marijuana/cannabis is ripping. With the big move in BLOZF, I think it's only a matter of time before LCTC plays some catch up.
Some fascinating statistics about LCTC:
At Lifeloc's current price the entire stock float can be locked up for a mere $1.6 Million (Current float of 289,999 x Current price $5.50) There are not too many other stocks where the entire stock float can be bought for less than $2 Million.
Lifeloc's closest competitor in the marijuana breathalyzer sector would be Cannabix (BLOZF). Cannabix has a current market cap of $190 Million (91.31 Million shares outstanding x Current price of $2.10). Lifeloc has a market cap of of just $13.5 Million (2.45 Million shares outstanding x Current Price $5.50) . The market is valuing Cannabix at 14 times that of Lifeloc. Cannabix has never had a sale, revenue, or profit in its company's history. Lifeloc has been profitable with revenues over $6 million every year since it has been a public company.
Lifeloc has made a nice run in the January time frame 2 out of the last 3 years. We have to see if that trend will continue but the Marijuana/Cannabis space has been on a tear the last couple weeks and with Lifeloc trading near the $5 level, I have to think this is a good pick up here.
Lifeloc has total assets of $8.3 million and cash of $2.7 million.
We look to the future for some significant product launches. We expect to introduce a completely new breathalyzer with the features that customers have been seeking. Likewise, we expect to reintroduce the R.A.D.A.R. device with better communications and a more robust mechanical design, improving service life. The Lifeloc commitment to innovation remains as strong as ever.”
Sandia adds HIV and tuberculosis to rapid medical testing system SpinDx:
http://www.sandia.gov/news/publications/labnews/articles/2017/18-08/spin.html
Commercial partners have licensed SpinDx technology in the past for widely different uses including male fertility tests, monitoring public water supplies for pathogens, and testing for drugs of addiction. Chung-Yan says he hopes that new partners will take the technology, mature the tests to move beyond proof-of-concept, and use it for disease detection in areas with limited resources.
We know someone is making progress with the SpinDX technology. Time for Lifeloc to step up to the plate and make some things happen.
This is the latest update I have for the Lifeloc marijuana breathalyzer and progress on the SpinDX:
"Development work continues on the real time, quantitative analysis
for a panel of drugs including THC utilizing the SpinDx™ technology licensed from Sandia Corporation and the closely related THC breathalyzer. This work has demonstrated the detection of very low quantities of THC, but more work is needed to reduce this to a practical device. The Lifeloc commitment to innovation remains as strong as ever.”
The clear winner in the cannabis breathalyzer space in 2017 has been BLOZF (Cannabix). It currently has a market cap value of slightly over $100 Million. Lifeloc currently sits at $17.2 Million. The market values Cannabix at almost 6 times that of Lifeloc. It has never been this out of whack.
Congratulations have to go out to the holders of BLOZF and Cannabix and it looks like it still has legs. Lifeloc on the other hand has done nothing to appease me or heighten my confidence in it. No social media updates, nothing as far as an update on breathalyzer progress being made, minimal press releases, and quarterly numbers are unimpressive to say the least. Maybe we will see more progress being made in 2018.
Good luck to all involved in the space!
According to the following report, Lifeloc is a key players/manufacturers in the China Cannabis Packaging market:
https://www.newsient.com/china-cannabis-packaging-market-2017-recent-study-including-growth-factors-applications-regional-analysis-key-players-and-forecasts-till-2022/132765
It's a $3,400 report or I would get more info on it.
2,500 shares traded today and all buy orders, however we couldn't even get past $8.00.
This stock should have shot past $10 on that kind of buy volume.
Looking to see if we can get some more volume coming through the rest of the week and clear this $8 level.
I found this interesting. This is the first time I have actually seen the Spixdx as an item that is sold somewhere:
https://mfimedical.com/products/unico-powerspin-dx-c8704-centrifuge?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cse&utm_term=unico-powerspin-dx-c8704-centrifuge&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgIPOBRDnARIsAHA1X3T3_jkHLWzRp1_aNKQkXq7PcnvJh19jyrIlYuFDZvz4DEa1e3XwVXAaAjS9EALw_wcB
Lifeloc recent observations:
I was pleased to see some volume come in today and all on the buy side. I'm pretty sure the volume surge and price movement from around 2 weeks ago was a couple investors that had mistaken this Lifeloc for the cyber protection company Lifelock which is part of SYMC now. After the Equifax breach of social security numbers, some traders looked to capitalize and mixed up companies.
But today's volume was promising and to see all buys is encouraging. However, I have to say I have not been impressed with the quarterly earnings reports and the fact that we have yet to see any type of an update on progress being made as far as the marijuana breathalyzer is discouraging.
I did catch this investor presentation on the Lifeloc website:
https://www.lifeloc.com/download/lifelocPitch2017.pdf
SpinDx Development Status
• Lifeloc has exclusive license Drugs of Abuse field of use following a
cooperative research and development agreement
• Technology already licensed and commercialized for other fields of use
• Demonstrated detection of ?-9 THC,cocaine and methamphetamine at the
levels of interest
• Lifeloc has existing channel to both Law Enforcement and Workplace markets
SpinDx enables mobile roadside and workplace DOA testing. Results in less than 10 minutes from a drop of blood anywhere and anytime.
DOA Opportunity:
• The DOA market is ripe for a new technology play to replace traditional blood and urine testing, improve customer service and reduce prices.
• The drug testing market is fragmented with excellent product and segment consolidation opportunities.
• No one company provides a comprehensive alcohol and drug testing solution set to the marketplace.
• The opportunity is to build a $1 billion business in 10 years.
The reason I am in this stock sits in that last line, which I think is a very conservative estimate. Lifeloc's current market cap sits at a mere $24 million so plenty of room for growth.
With Calif. and Canada going adult recreational use coming soon, let's see what you got Lifeloc.
It's go time!

http://www.krdo.com/news/top-stories/sniffing-out-stoned-drivers-in-an-age-of-public-pot/468840119
It looks like they are testing a device from Drager, Hound Labs, and if you check out the device at 2:28, it is testing for saliva and it does look like the SpinDX from Lifeloc but I do not know that for sure. If Lifeloc has anything ready to be tested, you would figure it would start in Colorado police force.

"Testing for a majority of drugs is tricky, as there isn't something akin to a Breathalyzer test for them, NBC News reports. The governors association wants law enforcement to have more training for such cases. Such training is already going on in California with the California Highway Patrol."
Lifeloc could help in the training aspect and the drug testing with the SpixDx technology (which we are overdue for an update on).

From the BLOZF board (courtesy of euroconversions):
With changing public sentiment and eminent marijuana legalization in Canada, ABT (with its Boston based research facility) is positioning itself to capitalize on the impending windfall from legalized cannabis by purchasing ALR, makers of alcohol breathalyzers and most importantly portable drug screening devices.
Developing innovations in healthcare diagnostics coupled with renewed investment particularly in "early stage diagnostics" has assembled the perfect environment for advanced technologies and the companies that create them.
In March 2013, Spin DX technology had a current technology readiness level of 5-6. (Check slide 9 of powerpoint presentation - https://www.slideshare.net/ipo-admin/singh-spindx-pres)
5. Component and/or breadboard validation in relevant environment:
Fidelity of breadboard technology increases significantly. The basic technological components are integrated with reasonably realistic supporting elements so they can be tested in a simulated environment. Examples include “high-fidelity” laboratory integration of components.
Results from testing laboratory breadboard system are integrated with other supporting elements in a simulated operational environment. How does the “relevant environment” differ from the expected operational environment? How do the test results compare with expectations? What problems, if any, were encountered? Was the breadboard system refined to more nearly match the expected system goals?
6. System/subsystem model or prototype demonstration in a relevant environment
Representative model or prototype system, which is well beyond that of TRL 5, is tested in a relevant environment. Represents a major step up in a technology's demonstrated readiness. Examples include testing a prototype in a high-fidelity laboratory environment or in a simulated operational environment.
Results from laboratory testing of a prototype system that is near the desired configuration in terms of performance, weight, and volume. How did the test environment differ from the operational environment? Who performed the tests? How did the test compare with expectations? What problems, if any, were encountered? What are/were the plans, options, or actions to resolve problems before moving to the next level?
I would have to think 4 years later the technology has advanced to at least a 7-8:
7. System prototype demonstration in an operational environment.
Prototype near or at planned operational system. Represents a major step up from TRL 6 by requiring demonstration of an actual system prototype in an operational environment (e.g., in an aircraft, in a vehicle, or in space).
8. Actual system completed and qualified through test and demonstration.
Technology has been proven to work in its final form and under expected conditions. In almost all cases, this TRL represents the end of true system development. Examples include developmental test and evaluation (DT&E) of the system in its intended weapon system to determine if it meets design specifications.
