This work has demonstrated the detection of very low quantities of THC, but more work is needed to reduce this to a practical device."
At Lifeloc's current price the entire stock float can be locked up for a mere $1.9 Million (Current float of 289,999 x Current price $6.50) There are not too many other stocks where the entire stock float can be bought for less than $2 Million.
Lifeloc's closest competitor in the marijuana breathalyzer sector would be Cannabix (BLOZF). Cannabix has a current market cap of $194 Million (94.9 Million shares outstanding x Current price of $2.05). Lifeloc has a market cap of of just $16 Million (2.45 Million shares outstanding x Current Price $6.50) . The market is valuing Cannabix at 12 times that of Lifeloc. Cannabix has never had a sale, revenue, or profit in its company's history. Lifeloc has been profitable with revenues over $6 million every year since it has been a public company.
With the recent run up in Cannabix, I think LCTC is due to play a little catch up in the sector and with it's price towards the low end of the chart and progress being made on the marijuana breathalyzer, it looks like a possible investment here.
