At 4 bucks the price flat out sucked. Now at 9, IMO, it's OK. I haven't been in this for these years to be just OK. You? No, I wanna win and win big. So no I'm not satisfied, yet, and yeah I averaged down. I'm not here for accomplishments. I'm here for the high share price they better eventually bring. Leo Durocher "Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser". Let's win already. And not pinto 150% of crap.
The stock price was horrific. In the shitcan. You want to toss bouquets at them over that, 150% over that? There's a show on ESPN where the hosts yell "C'mon Man!". You thought we should be mid teens now. I agree. There have been plenty of news accomplishments since early February but the share price remains a head scratcher. 150%? "C'mon man!"
Blood cells view the beads as a foreign object and will begin clotting if the combination of anticoagulant/heparin and the rate of blood flow is not sufficient. Same as with folks with artificial/metal plastic valves. Clots form without coumadin brilinta eliquis etc. I took the comments regarding clotting in the webinar in our device, the negative ones, to be directed towards lack of adequate blood flow and not Covid. And it was only the one doc who was negative. It was emphasized that ECMO blood volume rate was sufficient to avoid this. Unfortunately I have too much personal experience with two valve replacements, two bouts of endocarditis, and a minor stroke when my metal valve threw a clot. George Carlin "A minor heart attack is one that someone else is having".
When blood pools, stops moving, it signals the blood cells to clot. It's why guys like me with atrial fibrillation take blood thinners. The heart flutters, the blood pools risking clots, and can cause a heart attack or stroke. In the webinar, the one doctor said that the ECMO moves blood along at a high enough volume/speed that it's not an issue when used with ECMO. It becomes an issue potentially when the device doesn't have blood forced through it fast enough. That's what I heard, and sorry for my non medical terminology.
Crazy stuff. Techxen posted he was suspended by stocktwits. Says it's possible a disgruntled investor blames him for losses. Unreal.
Yes, heard that. And Larusso somewhat debunked that questioner with that response
No one here wrote that the 700 were all Covid 19. When clotting was questioned the one doc said in combo with ECMO it's no problem because enough blood passes through rapidly to prevent it. A device used alone may clot, but the discussion of the webinar was ECMO and Cytosorb with ECMO
During q and a the Italian Dr. spoke of some very positive results in a certain region and that he expects something published shortly. All 3 docs encouraged the use of Cytosorb early on. Not to wait for the patient to get too ill. There was a mention of clotting in the device ed if an adequate blood flow was not maintained. Not an issue when used with ECMO. A positive webinar promising results from Zurich and Italy "soon". That's what I took from this.
He was very positive about Cytosorb and said some reports can be expected soon
I believe it was patients
Doc just said on webinar
Good ol' Vinnie's got the knack. Dumps on a spike before a fall every time. If it is preplanned I want his advisor. A genius. Everybody understands options and nobody begrudged the idea of them so spare me. It's Vinnie's remarkable timing record.
It's always the same guy who sells on the spikes. I don't want to hear about it being planned. Its BS. Hope he chokes on it.
Silly me. Was Gilead
Fox Dr. Marc Siegel is about to discuss a new CV19 treatment. Bow your heads and pray.
Techxen, your posting on stocktwits is very informative. Can you post them here, the ones from last evening? Greatly appreciated. You are all over this.
Crazy volume?
I love your summary. Exciting times. Thx. I get excited when folks who are not pumpers get excited. Recent posts from you, Andy55, and Techxen have been great.
The future is bright. You cannot watch the enthusiasm of the German doc (OK a doctor's enthusiasm is not bubbly) and not be positive. Please watch and look at his confidence.
Webinar was fantastic. The German heart surgeon could not have been more positive. Emergency cardiac surgery is made safer, the overall hospital stay is reduced, costs overall are reduced, and operations took an average of 80 less minutes to complete. Repeat, 80 minutes less on average. The German doc was great.
When is that day? Is it close in your opinion?
I can't get that opened. Can you share the contents? Thx.
I can't follow what it is you are trying to say. Sorry I responded in the first place.
Fauci was at tonight's presser. What the hell are you talking about?
What are the ramifications for us? The impact?
Techxen, can you put your stocktwits posts here? Terrific job. Thx.
All we need is Andy's BARDA news. I reviewed Andy's posts. He predicts nothing. Strictly facts. His BARDA post "next week?" is tantalizing. C'mon baby. Come to papa.
"Breakthrough Device"
Huge on it's own and for what it portends for the future. What a great thing to wake up to!
We need to capitalize on the positive ECMO results for kidney damage that is apparently more prevalent than first thought. Get the word out Dr. Chan!
I don't think that's a fair statement and it's "couldn't care less". Either way, if you recap since February 1st what has happened, you couldn't possibly reach that conclusion. And I criticize when I see problems.
Don't tease me like that! That would be delicious!
I just saw a piece in FIERCEBIOTECH.COM from 4/13 about our recent approval. It was uploaded to facebook by Frank Clark. His bio says he was a founder of CTSO
Thestreet.com has done 2 recent interviews. Cramer's peeps
OT but relevant if we also get funding. Moderna is $49 per share, I remember it was $6 when I first became aware, on news the government is giving them a nearly $500 million grant to get their vaccine done. What's the chance of us getting something anything from this very large pie? Any idea where our requests stand? Thx and good luck to us all.
Thanks. Must've been pouring coffee at that time. Did anyone catch the number of devices used in Wuhan? I saw a number of the 19 had used 4, 3, 2 devices etc. They must've used at least 50. I was counting when the slide changed.
Was there any way to see how many actually tuned in? I see somebody posting on Stocktwits that people are waiting for the presentation. Perhaps a little confusion as to the start time.
I watched and I'm not a doctor. I didn't hear anything bad, but I'm not sure I heard anything really good or great either. What am I missing as a non medical person?
I got a note from a friend that a caller asked Cramer about CTSO last night and he answered that he hadn't heard of us. Did anyone see this?
Is it 9AM US East Coast, EDT?
