SCOOGE HELL. He cost this board over 100 million dollars and gave the sharks an entre to drive the stock down. He could have done this any number of ways so as not to excessively influence the stock price. He has done a good job so far, (FDA still to go), but he got greedy at a crucial moment. Maybe you didn't mind the loss, but a lot of us did. Not everyone got paid more than $10 million this week.

Why would Amarin subject itself to the whims of the FDA again?
They have presented at the most prestigious conference available with enormous acceptance. They have had peer review published with more to come.
They already have drug approval and have won the legal right to discuss these results in the marketplace. Just go sell the hell out of Vacepa and not waste time with the FDA who may want a short or long additional study?
If 90% of heart docs will prescribe V, they already have label expansion!

Last week took mom to heart specialist. Ask him if he was familiar with vacepa. He hesitated and said he had heard something, but did not know details. I told him about positive results and upcoming aha presentation. Have to wait for next visit to get feedback

I apologize to the board. I thought this ad com was a sure thing. I believed management when they implied the safety profile was superior to morphine and I did not expect the FDA to want tests at higher doses. I do believe O will be approved but only after a higher dose study. The only ACE this company has up its sleeve for the PDUFA meeting is that doctors want and need an alternative to the current standard of care. High Morphine doses. This may save their bacon. We'll see. But as many of the NO votes said... with some more data they would vote YES. As Hohger fans use to say...Maybe next year.

There was not enough volume for 38 institutions to fully sell. Secondly, the. Fad may not like opioid, no body does, but this drug is an improvement over current standard care. Third, the stock may be halted around ad com activity. Don't panic

This opioid based drug has a similar addictive profile as current drugs used. It has a better efficacy and safety profile. Fad has to say these things to cover their behinds. Opiod crisis is real but so is post operative pain.

STS I totally agree. They will take advantage of the positive environment to raise cash, if for no other reasons than to support sales & marketing and R&D. I think the raise will be $50-75 MM. This extra cash on hand may even make them a more attractive BO target.

Sts. Both dat traders and some stock manipulators have a strategy that demands they close most positions daily. Many of the millions of shares traded daily are recycled looking for a 50 cent, 1 dollar, 2 dollar profit. Also some very large holders will want to take some profits to dress portfolios.

Someone is trying to hold down the price so they can cover. It is absurd for a stock to go down after a key approval and key partnership. Do not sell you shares cheaply.
