Susie,
I have been in and out of PCBM a few times as you know. Regarding why people who don't own it are still interested, I can only speak with certainty for myself. After about 5 years, I have difficulty walking away without knowing how it finally goes down. I was conned too, but esacaped. Besides I only play pennies for short terms. I don't think I ever held one more than a week.
I guess it's my engineering nature in that I want to know who the mystery particpants in the scam are and if they will walk off unscathed. I tihnk even those who still own it want the answers to the same questions. They certianly know they aren't going to get their money back any more.
Well, off to din din now. I was supposed to have dinner with Jeb at the Gov.'s place but I'm too tired tonight, so I will just go to my hotel up here in Tallahassee instead. Night night,
Geo.
Susie,
Let me try to answer that. I've emailed with Que (Chris Hall). He's bright and he has some good picks. I'm singling him out because he seems to have a need for self-praise. Maybe we all do. There are some there that do post just to rub people's nose in it. For those that lost more than they could afford to, beating on them is just plain wrong. Compassion would be far better. However for those who are actively trying to bait others into buying to help there own cause, I enjoy seeing them getting nailed. Compassion, is out of the question. I would love to see All*n, Alan, JMC, Wendy and Slurp and the Slurp Cclones (sounds like a good name for a rock group)go down hard. Right along with Vinnie Two-Toes and H&T. Some of what they do may actually be illegal. Anything I can do to help bury them I will do and do with great pleasure.
Geo.
Hey-
Stop posting pictures of my wife!
Geo
Buy Euros and GOld!!
Rick,
Absolutely!
While I certainly am no fan of Dubya's for many reasons, political corruption didn't start with him. I have racked my brain and can't come up with a single name of a politician I'd trust with my life or my money. That's why I am an independent. I always have to agonize over which is the lesser of two evils in an election. Doesn't make much difference because both parties of Congress are owned by the K street lobbyists' masters.
The people need to take back their country but I don't know how. Exclusive public election funding may be a big help, but that legislation would have to be passed by the very crooks in control. Won't happen.
As for our PCBM, the clock is ticking. nosurrendernc in particular is leading the cheerleading of "ONLY XXX DAYS UNTIL DISCOVERY". Of course that is nonsense, as it only means the discovery period has ended. What it really means is if he can succesfully hold off class action by the zooees until that date, the statute of limitations will have expired and they will be truly out of luck.
Geo.
Derf,
I think the market is due for a major correction anyhow. The credit bubble and housing bubbles will burst, interest rates will rise and the trade and budget deficits are killers. All those peole who lost their shirt in the NAS collapse are doing the same thing all over again. They will be had twice. Some US corps. are making good profits but mostly for two unique reasons; doing business in foreign currencies and exporting jobs. It will only work for so long. If you keep laying off the Amercan workers and replacing them with cheap foreign labor and intellect, eventually people will not be able to buy the product. As soon as they can no longer genreate new cash by refi'ing their home or the perceived value thereof levels off, the party's over.
Now the corporate malfeasance that's come to light and the recent mutual fund revelations should make investors even more wary. The deck was and is stacked against them. The NYSE chair turned out to be a high priced thug and the Bush SEC chair appointment of Harvey Pitt turned out to be a joke.
Alas, money can still be made on individual issues, but I think really hard financial times are on the horizon for the country. Euros and Gold are nice to have in abundance right now. I always liked gold, but never dreamed I would bet agaist king dollar.
IMHO,
Geo.
Agreed. They probably have protected their assets, although Turino's $2.5 mil house still looks jointly owned. Vinnie looks broke with outstanding judements from banks and AMEX already against him and Kim. I'm not a lawyer, but Nevada Corps. offer great protection of the officers. However in Florida (and they were also a Fla. corp.)if it can be proven that the officers have committed fraud, then all bets are off. The statute of limitations is not, however, and I would think the day the SEC filed is Tzero for counting off the two years.
That's why you see a few RB posters gushing about the meaningless date for end of discovery in XXX days. Of course that's a joke, since all that means is the discovery phase ends on that date. It also means if they can hold the dupes off until that date, they will have succesfully gotten Turino et al off the hook from shareholder civil actions.

DropdeadFred
You surprised? Yesterday he wore two white scarfs with the cross of Jesus on them, one on each shoulder, while giving a speech to black college students. MAryland I think. You expected him to punish Gen. Boykins? They're of the same cloth. Welcome to the next Crusades. Should be good for at least 50 years. This time the Crusaders could actually lose. God help us all!

Hi Rick,
I know greed is an enemy, but every time a new PR comes out, it goes 3X or 4X for a few hours, then slowly settles back into reality. The latest pump last week was that they have signed basically a letter of agreement to someday buy... yada yada yada. Next pump will be that they ae going to buy this nutracellular thing. It's a one man show type scam. I would like to see .01 or more. If it doesn't happen soon I will dump it and just keep it up on my watch list.
Geo.
Son of a gun!
My ATNG is headed up on lotsa volume. I've already made the price of a decent lunch at Subway. Might still be a good high, high risk play today.
Geo.
Hey Janice,
Yeah, when they talk about those far away exotic places that they've never been able to afford to go to and have all that yummy bubbly Dum Prignione on the rocks and caveears and them other fancy kinapes, the peak has probably been reached. Now would you believe we are down to Oreos and pepsi in the Bronx?? At least that they will understand. LOL
Geo.
Rick,
Fung could be right yet. Not down that bad today. I see I got my other 360,000 shares of ATNG at .0060. Unfortunately the bid is now .0057, but that's close enough. We shall see.
You know, it is easy to say these PCBM "investors" should know better. Some are a bit simple and some are very bright. Look at you- you ate it up for a while as did Andle and Stan, etc. people that are certainly not stupid. Me too. I was lucky enough to figure it out sooner, that's all. What is important is that we didn't go into it with our life savings (except Andle). For some it sounded like it was the answer to their prayers. They would go from the throes of near-poverty to mansions, Mercedes and riches. Even trips to Tahiti I think I once heard mentioned. It is this blind greed that the scammers play to. It's like going to Vegas with ten thousand bucks and putting it all on 17 red. Great time if 17 red comes up. You get 360K. That's an amount worth taking note of. Of course if it doesn't, it's a real unpleasant trip. Worse when you get home and can't pay the mortgage, utilities and car payment. Worse yet if you were retired and now you need to become one of those nice 68 year old men in Publix bagging and carrying out the groceries every day until you die. You don't think a situation like that might make someone want to kill? Who is at fault ultimately is not relevant to the guy who has lost it all.
When all hope is gone, people do drastic things and as I said, they don't always kill themselves. Stan has talked about people who have lost their life savings, gotten divorced, whatever, over this. I think I spoke about the old fellow (my age) I knew that lost all and was driving a limo to the Tampa airport so he could eat. God, this poor guy didn't even own a computer. He had to visit the people next door to see how his "investment" was doing. He believed the JMC_JMCs of the world.
G.
Excuse me .0061
Well, I got the first 40,000 at .001. Will see if this is a trend developing here. It's a day order so the same total $9.95 commission from etrade no matter how many bits and pieces it takes to fill it.
So far the stingy MMs refuse to give it to me at my .0061. I can buy it at .0065, but hell that's almost 10% more than I want to pay. I don't like a 10% spread anyhow. The last trade was a sell at .0060, so maybe they will take my generous offer. If not, another play another day.
Geo.
Thanks for the input.
I just put in an order for 400,000 at .0061. True it has gone down to .004 in recent history, but there is a lot of volume today. May not even get a fill since spread is .0060 X .0065. We shall see.
Well I see I am out of CRDM this morning at $1.19. Made a big .05. I guess sometimes breaking even is a good play. LOL May get back int ATNG at about .006 and ride the next BS P.R. again.
G.
Au contraire, Rick
All it will take is some little guy that lost his lfe savings and was destroyed to apply some vigilante justice. Just as surely as the guy Susie was talking about that committed suicide, someone might go off the deep end and kill someone other than himself. I would think that con men alway have to consider that as a possible job hazard. Hell, there are people that walk into a car lot and blow away a salesman because their used car needed a transmission. Look at the very term "going postal" Postal workers kill each other at about 40 times the national average over petty, petty nonsense. Losing one's life savings and future could cause drastic irrational responses.
Geo.
Hi Susie,
Interesting story. Played MIR a few times myself. Of course there will never be a need for PCBM shareholders to band together at the BK proceedings as there won't be a need for any. Shareholders' power was completely negated years ago. The Fla guy that committed suicide in this story reminds us of the deperation that can accompany financial ruin. One wonders that someone like Alan (rumored to have lost $300k and his retirement prospects) or some obscure individual we aren't even aware of decides to extract his own brand of revenge. Turino and Lo C can probably still be found, but I think that's why Hall has remortgaged his house in July, took out the $100K credit line in August and left the face of the earth.
Geo.
Stan's-aliaseseses-
No, I picked up on it. I was just foolin' with him. Que is having a great p'ing contest with Slurp this morning on the zoo board, I see. Trying to pin down Slurp's home address on Euclid St.
G.
Fung,
I think the market-especially NASDAQ- is overpriced. These same people that got killed before are seeing the chance to "make their money back". They will get killed again. Now if the DJ hits and holds 10k, all bets are off, but that ain't gonna happen. Even the companies who have had decent earnings, if you look closely, it's because of foreign investments and the money was made on the falling dollar. Joe average guy has spent his home equity, maxed out his credit cards, bought his new car zero down, zero interest and has gotten as much $$ back from uncle Dubya as he is going to get. The white collar unemployed have seen their jobs go to India and the blue collar unemployed have their job functions performed in China. We are in for serious troubles before this shakes out. I like cash and Gold, perosnally. I play the market for fun, but cash is nifty stuff. Doesn't earn any ROI but doesn't lose much either.
JMO
G.
Glad they gotcha Stan, my man. Just like wives, more than one alias is at least one too many.
Hey while I'm at it- How's about them flying Fish?? Torre went down with class, but the boss was nowhere to be found. Maybe busy making out the termination notices.
G.
Fung,
A lot of interesting things this week. For the real markets, the long-term picture isn't rosy. I always read prudent bear to bring me back to reality. Of course individual issues have nothing to do with the market. I took a position in CRDM last week. Maybe a misteak. I did get a 3 bagger plus on ATNG. It's a PCBM type scam but it moves a lot. I dumped it last week at .016 and its back around .007. I think if it hits .005, might be time to get in and wait for the next meaningless PR. Little down side risk and it will probably go back to .015 again for at least a few hours.
Geo.
Not that much $$$ for a horse with any potential as a trotter. Vince has had a few other horses. Nothing of real value. I'm sure however he does thank the PCBM investors for keeping his hobby active.
Geo.
Thanks Fred for your kindness.
I am off to St. Augustine for the weekend with my wife. Seems in my younger days I was there with someone else's wife. Very costly error. Only foolin'. Y'all have a good weekend.
Geo.
I replied, Rick. Check your email
Geo.
Rick,
Yes Slurp, Treff and Wendela all connect on the pump end of the scam, but I don't think they are near the top rung. Hey they may all be the same person or at least 2 out of three. Don't know how Shapiro fits in or Ed. On the other hand they may not even know each other. I just dunno. I think they are paid in shares to make a few bucks for their trouble, but are only facilitators for the real principals behind the scene. Let's face it Wendela doesn't pick 20 some odd losers in a row by accident. No one is that bad- or good if you will. She only shills for shares, as the underlying security is ridden into the ground.
Geo.
Boy would I love to know who Slurpy is for sure. I would drop a dime on him in a heartbeat.
Geo.
Hi Moe,
Gald to be here. Yes it certainly seems that way, doen't it.
Hi Fung,
Yes we can and should do that. First, let me say some things for public consumption now that I have had a few minutes to review back posts and saw my name more than a few times.
I do not have a big ego. I am just a wonderful, wondeful succesful person and everyone else is stupid! There, does that make Rick feel better? Now that is not true. Yes I am relatively succesful in my recent life, but if you are not by the age of 63, something is wrong. I have madde amny misteakes in my life, have been broke a few times over. I only get pompous when dealing with illogical fools. In reality I am far more humble than egotistical. I don't have to remember back that far to when things in my life were really bad. Even with penny scams, like this one, it is easy to get sucked in. Not realizing it and getting out is what sets these dupes apart.
Let me give a little public history first, since there seemed to be questions as to the length and depth of my PCBM involvement. I can cut and paste it from a private email I sent out recently, so I shall:
Way back in the old days, I stumbled across PCBM because I was playing high risk pennies just for fun and doing well with it. There was a lot of speculation, pre-March 2000. Somehow I guess via RB, I met Drillbit (Andrew). Turned out to be different than portrayed on the boards, but that's a story for another day. Anyhow, when the Payday loan venture for me began (early 1999), I started getting into some real pissing contests with "consultant" Eric Bauchman. I knew his whisper campaign was illegal and I also knew its purpose. I was naive enough to think that the leaks were to jack the stock price up to get funding for the MBE/Payday loan venture. I confess to making a few bucks riding the wave a few times between .11-.14, but still was dumb enough to think they really were going to do it. Then 60 minutes did a segment on Payday loans in Tampa, pointing out the were all run by the mob. I went down to Clearwater unannounced one day in about 1999 or 2000 and knocked on the door to the PCBM office. I spent an hour with the COO, Joe Vallone. I asked him about his qualifications in the finance business. Said he was once a mortgage broker. Did not look like a COO. Dressed in Jeans with a 1 carat diamond in his left ear. But he was good. He took me to an empty office next door (that they never leased) and showed me where all the computers and operators would go, where the collections department would be, etc. He could paint a picture I actually believed and I thought I was smart.
Of course when they said they acquired Matrix and its "two revenue streams" I got suspicious. I verified via Nevada S.O.S. that Matrix was created as a Nevada Corp the very same day the PR announced PCBM acquired it. Di Martini used his home address over in Safety Harbor as the corporate address. Sounded a bit funny and when I saw on the next PCBM filing that the acquisition wasn't even mentioned, I got a little more suspicious. I read on RB that they were sharing the automated voice mail system with Matrix. On my next trip to Tampa, I went to the PCBM office building and looked at the wall directory. Much to my surprise Matrix really did exist on the 4th floor. PCBM was just a small 1500 sq. ft. office on the second floor along with about 20 others of like size. I took the elevator to the 4th floor. This was prime rental real estate. The top floor was divided in half. Off the elevator to the left was a mortgage company and to the right was Matrix. Impressive lobby, expensive neon signs and a guard desk, only no guard. Actually there had never been a guard. There wasn't so much as a phone line hooked up there. It was all for show. Behind the guard desk were two doors with magnetic security locks. I knocked on the door and when a guy opened it I made up a story about wanting someone to develop a website for me. I was taken in and introduced to Nancy ?? who said she could help me. Gave me her card with the name Lodgistics on it. She said they were subleasing the office suite.
Over time I then starting calling and visiting MBEs. That's when I realized they were franchises and didn't have to honor the MBE/PCBM agreement. In fact except for one in St Pete, I never found one other single MBE in the state of Florida that was going to carry the service. I then knew we had a scam here for sure.
When that venture was PR milked to the max and slowly withered away, the car lot sprang up. I actually had to admit these guys are good. My son has two dealerships in Tampa so I know a little bit about the car business. When I saw what they were paying for it, I knew V LoC was part of the scam and was about to make himself and his associates a lot of money.
As for our friend Mr. Hall, I did search the records for the tax assessor's office of Pinellas County. His place is a piece of shitte compared to Turino's digs. He and his wife really do own that piece of property, and owned it prior to the PCBM venture. I can not find another residence for him. No other combination of Hall's name brings up a match. Either it's a different wife's name or different middle initial. Of course Pinellas County only covers ST Pete and Clearwater. If you go south it's Manatee county towards Sarasota, and then Pasco, Hernando and Citrus as you head up my way. I haven't searched them. Would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
The RB board is interesting in that you really can't tell the majority of the players without a scorecard. Hard to tell how many people really are left, how many are multiple aliases, what their real motives are. Also hard to believe anyone could still believe, even in desperation, that they have not been taken for a big ride.
Catch ya later,
Geo.
Hi Paulie,
First let me say the cartoons are great. Yeah I thought it would be over years ago. It's not quite over yet in that the potential crime and punishment phase isn't clear. I don't know if any of the "dupes" will attempt any sort of legal action for restitution before the clock runs out. This business of waiting until "discovery day" is a great con to keep the dupes from starting action until the 1 year S.O.L. has come and gone. That bogus date, of course, is only an end date for discovery and is meaningless. Whatever discovery there has been in this case is probably long completed. May never have even been any. The SEC already has what they need. Had it before they filed the civil action. In the end, the SEC has a lot bigger fish to fry. A wrist slap will be the most that happens, I suspect.
You know if the mysterious and missing Mr. Hall issues a PR that (as an example) PCBM has aquired Thurston Groves and will build XXXX condos on the thriving gulf coast, etc. etc., these suckers will buy a few billion more. It is possible that the ex- officers still hold a few billion shares to dump if a new pump can be successfully executed.
Geo.
Alright, then I gusss I am. I haven't scanned many old posts yet, to see what this thread is all about.
Hi guys,
Took you up on the invite and joined. Paid for premium service as well but it doesn't show up yet. Most of what I have to say and the research I have done probably shouldn't be public anyhow. I won't provide a phone # as I am legally deaf and conversation would be frustrating for all. I can always be found at ernstge@hotmail.com
