For instance, I have copied the entire chapter of Deut for reference and will post at the end of this paragraph. Phillipians 4:13 reads, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."

and yet in John 15:5, I am the vine and you are the branches; He that abides in me and I in Him will bring forth much fruit; for without me you can do nothing."

the first time I read this scripture in John, I was surprised! I thought about how the very breath we have - life itself - it from God.

Now, in this context, I do believe I can do everything God has called me to do. Like most folks life is a challenge! but when I run out of me because I am limited, I lean on Him. I do not walk in fear - I fear no man - but walk in His power and grace.

Is God Holy? Absolutely!

In the Old Testament, sacrifices were made to atone/cover up for those sins.

Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for all and it is His blood that cleanses us from sin.

Some people believe Jesus was a prophet - that is what the Muslems believe. Some believe He was a heretic. Some don't care and just want to live their lives.

But, in the Bible, in all four of the gospels, Christians were told to "go into all of the world and preach the gospel..." In the book of Galatians we are instructed to not believe 'another gospel' even if an angel" seems to present it.

For most Christians, we look to the Bible as our measuring tool. We disagree about the area of a room but a measruing tape will decide what is true. That's how most Christians view their walk - that is how I view my walk.

One of the greatest lies to the world is "everyone is ok" and "I'm a good person - I never killed anyone...", etc. Each person needs to prayerfully ask God to reveal Himself to them; ask Him about Jesus.

Believe in one's self is quite limiting!

It's not like these board forums where people can post whatever they choose w/o consequences...

If the moderator of the board will keep track of reports, they will be able to monitor the IP address and it will not be difficult to locate the person. Even if they use more than one IP address, one would be able to figure out where and who they are - could mean some prison time...

One day - the post will be pasted here and it will be for real!

I hope someone from the SEC investigates, connects the IP address and puts him in the slammer....

Interpretation of the timing of the rapture varies with different groups of Christians. I have studied each and have my own opinion. There are some things in the Bible which everyone agrees on and other things which may be viewed differently. (i.e. salvation is something most Christians agree on how it happens) whereas other things like end times may vary. Individually, it's important to read the Word, spend time in prayer - speaking and listening - and applying those things to are life. It's about relationship...

Keeping short accounts with the Lord is extremely important!
