Nice close. Up 78.57% today. Finally, my .90 posts (day low).
New 52 week high.
Finally found a time:
8/27/2007 9:30:02 AM ET ELAMF BUY ELAMF @ $0.9Completed Executed
Oh yeah... 0.05 now!
Bid up to 1.50 now.
Early this morning. I noticed the volume isn't appearing correctly on Scottrade. Not sure what's up.
According to the "receipt" (or whatever you want to call it), I have 0.9 today.
Anyone plan to talk to the CEO this week if we don't hear anything by Wednesday?
Got in at .90. Current gap is 1.25 to 1.95.
Watching to see what happens with this...
Check out the gap on ELAMF.
I'm hearing CWOV. Haven't checked it out yet.
DPBM is on the buzz cloud today. Hmm...
My fingers are crossed. :)
I agree about the DR, BTW. I think Tracy told Wilf to go for the Scipion for very good reasons. Knowing that Tracy influenced the decision puts my mind at ease and makes me want to invest more.
What makes me want to invest less is the idea that the revenue may not hit until Nov./Dec. If he uses stock to fund the next 2-3 months of operations, I want out while it gets hit. The real question on my mind is this: when is it likely that DPBM will announce they found what Tracy knows is on the ship.
There are several factors that affect the outcome of the timeframe for that announcement:
1. Finding it.
2. Approval from Tracy.
3. Approval from DR.
4. Actually writing it up and posting it.
I'm thinking this next trip might knock out #1. I'm assuming it doesn't take but a few days for #2. #3 I'm unsure about... maybe 1 week? I suppose it really depends what is found. #4 probably takes a few days with everything that is happening. When do we go back to the DR again? Isn't it in 2 weeks? So, I'm thinking at least another 2 weeks to the DR + 2 weeks at the DR + 1 week for approval + 3-4 days give or take for the rest ends up with about 5.5 weeks from here. That would be end of September/beginning of October. I'll be watching everything unfold very closely over this timeframe...
Anyone else see the above timeline as way off? What are your thoughts? I'd like to try and pin down as close as possible when the news will hit... because that might be right before the stock price soars.
My guess is a nicely played P&D. Someone came in and bought a TON of shares (all they could get, possibly enought to have controlling interest in the stock) at 0.0001, pumped it (on the 50 million o/s or anything, really), and then sold as much as they could at 0.0002. I guess we could check to see if anyone filled out the 10% buy/sell filing. More than one person buying under 10% seems too complicated of a scenario.
Then again... it could be legitimate news brewing valid interest in the stock... I just doubt it.
One of the last big volume days ended with someone dumping quite a lot of shares at 0.0001. Anyone relatively patient (or skeptical) wouldn't buy in at 0.0002 as they were waiting to get in at 0.0001. So, the controlling interest of the stock sold at 0.0002 to the impatient folks and then they bailed selling at 0.0001 to the more patient individuals. After they left, a stalemate occurred because no one wanted the stock at 0.0002 and everyone had already snatched everything (or most everything) up at 0.0001 from the previous controlling interest.
If this is the case, somebody knows how to play the market rather well. I'll be very curious to see next month's numbers. If the volume spike is a wholesale MM (NITE), I may change my mind completely.
I invested money initially in this company because I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING. I still have stock, but it is only what I am completely willing to lose. On top of that, they said they would have the financials ready, initially, 3 weeks ago.
Now that I do understand the situation a little more clearly (at least, I think I do), I want financials to ensure that Wilf isn't paying ALL of our money in salaries. I don't think he is doing this. However, it would nice to have numbers to prove it.
I will not find another hobby until I make my money back (and then some). I'm bound and determined. Just bought a thick text book on candle stick chart patterns... looking forward to memorizing it.
My thoughts are this. The deep wreck had Wilf thinking we finally hit it big. So, he announced the "merger." Timeline adds up. Now that the deep wreck is toast, we do still have the DR on which to cling. However, IMO it was either the deep wreck or the combination of the deep wreck and the DR that initiated the idea of AMEX.
At least, that's what I thought until I saw the float. Now that I see the float is ~50% of the pot, it's pretty clear Wilf is running out of funding options and has to figure out something ASAP to keep the company from going bankrupt or flatline.
Just my opinion... nothing more nothing less.
"Financials of what?"
Exactly.
Let's see `em.
We ever going to see financials??
They are now 3 weeks overdue!
The amount of shares moved this year by SBSH and NITE is almost 1.5 billion: http://www.otcbb.com/asp/tradeact_mv.asp?SearchBy=issue&Issue=GHTI&Month=7-1-2007
If this is really sitting at 50 million... uh...
It seems I did not make a clear statement.
If you buy into a shell and the float and o/s allows old shareholders to gain a good grip (in the case of DPBM close to 50% or more of the ownership), a new company buying the shell will be forced to R/S it and increase the a/s until you have nothing.
It seems to me the best shell plays are those with low floats or o/s (~5-15% of the total a/s). This leaves the new company less likely to hit the stock with a 1:1000 R/S and a 500% increase in a/s before they initiate new operations. To put that into perspective, if someone did the above with DPBM, the current float (~250 million shares) would only be 1/10 of a percentage (0.1%) of the new company.
I'm not saying DPBM fits into this category as I'm reluctant to even attempt to foretell where the pink sheet stock will sit after the supposed AMEX buy. However, I'd be curious to hear what others believe it will be.
Dormant shells board:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=9916
IMO, there are better shells to be bought, but I would not begin to pretend to be an expert on shells either.
Yes, but the higher the float, a/s, or o/s the more likely (and the more drastic) an R/S will be required for the new company buying the shell.
Most of my hand is in VSTR still. Waiting on the merger. It is supposed to happen this week... I'm beginning to be skeptical.
CEO said last week in August or first week in September.
It's been trading anywhere from 0.025 to 0.05 for the past week or two. 0.025 is very hard to come by, but I've been snatching up 0.035 fairly regularly.
Supposed to be a 4 million float? If so, it will probably explode on the merger news.
It's been very quiet over there... nice for accumulation.
What do you think of HABE? High on Friday of 0.3 with previous day close of 0.25.
About a week and a half ago, it sat around 0.18.
Run on Monday as well?
Same here. I've lost stuff due to hard drive failure, etc. After the experience, I back up everything in usually 3 different locations, if not more.
<deleted post>
Good call on HABE, BTW. Went up 10 cents (from 18c) over the past few weeks. Should have listened... I'll continue watching it.
I looked up the writing/Arabic stuff that Randy said was on the hacked site. I found numerous other websites that were hacked with the same Arabic writing. A specific hacking group leaves that signature after they throttle a site.
However, I never actually saw the Arabic writing on the DPBM site. I only saw the aftermath where Randy had put up the message, "We've been hacked," or whatever it was.
Did anyone actually see the Arabic writing?
I agree. If I recall correctly, it is over a much greater span of time.
This is also called a W, because it looks like one. I look for these often because they are easy to see. However, I've yet to hit big on one yet.
The power of deletion has been abused at some point in the past, however, and in some circumstances, end-users had a delay in seeing very important information (waiting for the undelete). Time is money, especially in the stock market.
Why are people so defensive about allowing others to see deleted posts, if they want (and only if)?
I'm happy to have generated discussion, but I don't want to get wrapped up in this. I agree that iHUB works and works well. Everyone will always have disagreements about how the system should work.
Thanks everyone for spending the time to discuss this concern.
GLTA :)
I'm holding as well. Let's see what happens.
Did that scanner work with analog cell phones or digital?
LOL
Okay, Phil, I have to ask. :)
About the cell phone calls you posted on the Q&A board. What were the 0.01% which were worth listening? I'm curious to know. I'm thinking mafia calls, crazy people screaming, or government stuff. Am I close? :)
I agree. The present system works fine, especially now that I understand each admin reviews every deleted post.
I suppose what it comes down to is the amount of time the admins will actually save (which may be well insignificant) and the nicety/usage of the new feature versus the amount of time and money to implement the change. Your post clearly indicates that many would likely not use the new feature. (I still would.)
It may just not make sense to the admins to even mess with it (or it may be an extremely low priority).
I'm very glad to hear that all deleted posts are reviewed by the admins. However, I wonder if the admins always have time to comprehend a clear context of each situation.
Also, I agree. Mob rule does not really seem to work at digg for the comments. Often, the mob will drown out valid "minority" voices.
Regardless, allowing the choice of seeing deleted posts provides more features/flexibility for the end user. I see high value in this. Those that prefer to see the deleted posts stay at iHUB rather than leaving (it seems few actually leave, but it does seem to happen). In addition, it may reduce the amount of time it takes to administrate this board.
It may be more complex than the following, but more users is potentially more money and time gained by the admins is additional elbow room for other activities.
(Just thinking out loud.)
Kind of like digg's bury feature? Have users vote on a deletion, and after so many votes, it is undeleted.
I bet that could save the admins a TON of time. Interesting...
I agree: it would be nice, as well, to see how many posts are deleted on a board in a glance. For instance, one unnamed board, deleted 25% of the posts today (~50 total messages posted today). In order to find that out, I had to manually count the deleted posts. I'm very curious what they are deleting.
I can see this reducing the amount of complaints about deleted posts as well. Possibly, this could reduce the time it takes to maintain the site.
Deleted posts appear to be a common topic on this board.
Suggestion:
Allow us to read deleted messages, if we wish. This could be done in a few ways:
- Similar to ignore now.
- Provide a link to the deleted posts.
- Throw them into a central "trash" that is purged after 10 days, adding the originating board into the message body. (Or something similar.)
Please consider this. Our curiosity often itches what our board owners are deleting. Transparency in their actions would be very helpful.
Thank you very much for considering this request!
I thought that was only on increased volume? Please help me understand. I am always willing to learn something new. :) A link is much obliged as well.

I don't see it, but my "untrained" eye could be missing it.
