My guess is a nicely played P&D. Someone came in and bought a TON of shares (all they could get, possibly enought to have controlling interest in the stock) at 0.0001, pumped it (on the 50 million o/s or anything, really), and then sold as much as they could at 0.0002. I guess we could check to see if anyone filled out the 10% buy/sell filing. More than one person buying under 10% seems too complicated of a scenario.

Then again... it could be legitimate news brewing valid interest in the stock... I just doubt it.

One of the last big volume days ended with someone dumping quite a lot of shares at 0.0001. Anyone relatively patient (or skeptical) wouldn't buy in at 0.0002 as they were waiting to get in at 0.0001. So, the controlling interest of the stock sold at 0.0002 to the impatient folks and then they bailed selling at 0.0001 to the more patient individuals. After they left, a stalemate occurred because no one wanted the stock at 0.0002 and everyone had already snatched everything (or most everything) up at 0.0001 from the previous controlling interest.

If this is the case, somebody knows how to play the market rather well. I'll be very curious to see next month's numbers. If the volume spike is a wholesale MM (NITE), I may change my mind completely.
