It is my understanding 50 patents have been approved and at least 50 patents are in for approval...
all I assume will go to the Crucible dual ownership.
We are invested in a penny stock whose company is linked to Materion, Engel, Visser, and APPLE. Its involved in a miraculous metal, a super metal, that in the future could be used in millions of applications. It has 100 patents with APPLE, for the metal, and at least one with ENGEL for a Turn Key Mould Machine. We know Lockheed Martin is testing a rocket with a war head cover of Liquid Metal.
No matter how frustrated we are...I think that's quite enough information for any investor for a 15 cent stock.
Patience and GOOD LUCK.
Not so much bashing as "encouragement" for the idea that APPLE needs to get going with LQMT...the real game changer. Something no other computer company will be able to copy.
I wonder if Jobs would have allowed those phones....plastic while the competition is switching back to metal. Is APPLE really screwing up that badly??
And to add to prior post.."if" this metal catches fire...how in the world could VISSER and LQMT
get enough machines to meet world demand...they couldn't The only solution to world wide demand would be selling the machines..as ENGEL is doing for plastics. So what would be in it for LQMT??
Well, they have a patented Machine with ENGEL...I imagine more patents coming...a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR Liquid Metal Enterprise...so, ENGEL buys LQMT, and takes in their researchers, and anyone else that wants to be part of it...and buys the shares of the others. Along with us.... I'm betting
$3 to $4 a share....and that perhaps is why the extra $200 Million shares. For leverage on a buy out.
Which makes more sense, considering the Engel/Lqmt turn key machines, and the capability of 3D machines to make moulds.
1. For Visser to fill a warehouse of machines and go out and get production contracts, along with LQMT and Materion, and then make prototypes at the warehouse, ship them back and forth until
its perfected...then make the contracted items and ship them to the contractor.
OR.
2. Have Engel sell the LQMT/Engel turn key machines all over the world, along with the LQMT METAL, whose basic patent has now expired and anyone can make it..unless there are patents in process for new configurations of the metal. Then ENGEL will have central facilities all over the world to support the machines and the companies that bought them. That way the companies can make many different parts on their own...perhaps making the "MOULDS" with 3D printers.
By this time isn't it logical that ENGEL and LQMT have discussed No.2 and that's the reason for the TURN KEY machine?? So it can be SOLD all over the world??? Also different sizes of the "TURN KEY" machine. Wouldn't by now..ENGEL and LQMT have come to the decision that this is the better way to go??? Why would VISSER have a warehouse of machines, when ENGEL will be selling them directly to the contractors.
This is a new day in Metallurgy. Now these processes no longer have to be done at one HUGE factory..
like a steel mill...each company can be its own metal fabrication center. Its a new day, a new technology...why are we talking about LQMT making parts, when they have already developed a LQMT/ENGEL machine that can be sold to any contractor?? Maybe I'm missing something...but it seems the plan we thought would happen, has changed.
Cheap IPHONES not selling because of the Jealousy Factor.... With LQMT there will be a Jealousy Factor that no other phone can match.

I'm sorry you took it so seriously. It was more in line with a quandary we have. We all know the HUGE doubts we have about this company and the management sure doesn't help. But yet the "banana on the stick"...is the potential of a new metal...one that could conquer the world...so we are kind of tied to it..who wants to give up that?? it wasn't advice....it was more of describing our situation. When you think about it..who wants to leave this stock?? With what may be coming?? That was my point...I was NOT telling anyone to stay...to buy, etc...I was just describing our circumstances.
But yet you have to stay...the potential is too great. You cannot pull yourself away. A metal that can take over the world. That's what we potentially have.
Another WAG...once the turn key machines are perfected...ENGEL will buy LQMT...for about $2 Billion.. They will be all set with infrastructure, scientific talent., and cash. Then we all walk away happy.
Its two separate thoughts to a degree. I think its possible the strategy has changed to making the machines, which we know is an LQMT/ENGEL effort for the TURN KEY Machine rather than contracting to make the parts and shipping them to the user. I'm not too clear on the capability of the machine but it seems it will be a basic machine with additions created by LQMT/ENGEL for the users different requirements in size etc. And also different size machines. But 'Turn Key" so the production of parts can be done at the users facility. This seems to be ENGELS approach for machines making plastics.
APPLE could be in the same arena. Buying the machines from Engel, to be placed where ever APPLE desires with support by ENGEL to help develop any additions to the machines for their products. Perhaps the "sheets" etc for the cases.
Once that ENGEL/LQMT joint effort in designing a turn key machine was announced...I felt perhaps many here including me were on the wrong assumption. We may have been right at first...but I have a feeling LQMT and ENGEL came to a decision to keep the marketing plan that ENGEL already had.
with its world wide support and distribution. To make a basic machine to sell to users, so they can make many different parts instead of a continual process of contracting LQMT to design prototypes,
ship them to the contractor for evaluation, back and forth back and forth.
As I said before..we can all speculate on where things are, but be ready for a company to develop a whole knew approach. I think that's what's happened. Even Lockheed Martin...their engineers could create uses for the metal themselves...and then ask ENGEL/LQMT for help if necessary, or design new moulds and test their own prototypes. This is a whole new world in Metallurgy. We know 3D printing can now be done by any company to make any configurations they want..they don't have to contract it out. This same approach may be the ENGEL/LQMT approach. The Metal coming from Materion...or whom ever. But do know LQMT has patents..so their involvement is secured.
So how about this scenario. Engel and LQMT are focusing on Turn Key Machines. They sell the machines and then the buyer can make moulds through the 3D printing process. ENGEL can help the buyer with that process. Different sized turn key machines for different applications. Maybe that's why we haven't seen any of those "almost contracts" such as the springs described in the Blog.
And IF Apple has a breakthrough so it can make cases...would it??? Or would APPLE want it for a future generation of phone...is their marketing plan to put some but not all of their developments into a phone??? Thus continually creating demand for the newest generation of phone. Presenting a few new baubles on each phone but have many more already developed.
As others have indicted here....one wonders if this is APPLES sneaky way of showing us what's coming next. Why make a video inference of what's obviously "liquid metal" hints. They know many will get the inference. Not nice to tease consumers...unless the tease is showing us the way. Hmmm.
Is todays PPS rise due to the APPLE IPAD event at 1PM....wishful investors hoping Liquid Metal will be on stage too?? or is it something else???
.164...about 170K volume.
Thanks...I wondered the same thing. Maybe too forward looking. Maybe too wordy. Maybe too positive about LQMT. Its okay. I'll try and cut down my prose. Less wordy. One needs a script anymore to decide who are the villains and who the heroes.
A buy out value can be based on future value of patents and not a percentage of the current PPS.
ENGEL has over 4000 employees. They can crank out a significant number of machines each year.
Just a thought.
Hmmm...thanks for the info. So they must have a load in cash. Considering the potential future growth and profits from the metal that would take over the world...with patents on the machines...and others..
it seems $4 a share would be fair....and quite logical. Everyone walks away happy. I know I would.
I'm wondering how much in sales does ENGEL do world wide...they are expanding everywhere.
The "world leader" in mould machines. How much would LQMT be worth to them. With the patents.
Could that be where this is headed??? They have the infrastructure. They have the world know how.
And they know if they get into the Liquid Metal area, it could multiply their business many times.
Lots to think about...lots to discuss. So many new scenarios that are possible. For me, very exciting as to the potential.
Have a good day.
Good Luck Longs.
a majority of the shares have not been issued. Stagnant??? From what we have learned recently...the company definitely is not stagnant. Its just going in a different direction than anyone here had predicted.
The start date of the company was when APPLE came in and had the old management removed, and a totally different technology was used to manipulate the metal.
It was on the wrong road all years prior. The only thing that wasn't done was change the name. And with the ENGEL/LQMT machine, it has again transformed.
Nice find. Good to see the news has legs. It is big. Very big. Big for us here waiting.
What am I bashing??? And when did I say I didn't own LQMT stock?? I said quite the opposite.
A news item on Engel...doesn't mention LQMT but does give an idea of how they are expanding..
http://www.engelglobal.com/engel_web/ena/en/2806_4735.htm
Okay. I looked at your site. Very nice start, but my outlook has changed considerably. For many months posters speculated on what kind of items LQMT could make in certain fields. Steipp was hung out to dry by some, as being a horrible manager. And there was always the question, one of many, if LQMT got a big contract, how could they make a mass production. Who has the machines?? Materion?? And if they got a second contract..then what??? Nothing seemed to fit. The "PLAN" we all thought we could see, didn't fit. Too many holes in it. Is LQMT going to become a production company?? Or will Materion get many machines for present and future contracts?? Then...KABOOM..all of a sudden the clouds parted. The Scientists at LQMT and ENGEL, in a joint effort...developed a TURN KEY machine...perhaps one with different attachments. It seems to have been proven....or is at ENGEL
for further refinement...who knows...but finally we have seen a plan that will leave the production up to individual companies...the ENGEL/LQMT machines will be leased or sold. What a perfect way to distribute the metal all over the world very quickly. I don't think anyone guessed at that concept, but it seems the most simple and logical. LQMT has transformed. NOW we know what they have been doing. NOW we know why contracts haven't been signed. They changed their plan. And this happens in so many instances as companies develop. Look at AMAZON..look at NETFLEX...now they are production companies...they have studios as their partners...the NETFLEX CEO was called an idiot..message board posters called NETFLIX a fraud...they wanted an SEC investigation...look who the fools are now. That's why I no longer see APPLE as a driving force...a "MUST" to get the metal going.
My outlook on it all has changed for the better. "AH..SELL THE MACHINES AND EVERYTHING ELSE FALLS INTO PLACE". Then LQMT and ENGEL can add more designs...help companies in producing different items...on and on. Just as NETFLEX is no longer just a "RED ENVELOP WITH A DVD IN IT"...LQMT is no longer a tiny pieces production endeavor, dependent on APPLE to get things rolling. That will explain all the extra shares....that explains the insider buying.... And LOCKHEED MARTIN about to do "seek and destroy" tests??? You see how this is all branching out beyond anyones guesses of the past?? (of course I could be wrong)...
It boggles the mind thinking how big this can get. I'm sure ENGEL knows it...LQMT knows it, Materion Knows it. They have to be working 24/7 to get this out into the market. Engel could be selling tens of thousands of machines in the future... This is no time to be playing "patty cake" with day trades.
Well, they now have a "TURN KEY" design of machine that is an effort of ENGEL and LQMT scientists...
now its at ENGEL for, well, I'm not sure what...who knows....if its "TURN KEY"...it should be good to go.
And who knows where they may be on the "SHEET" production. They could be developing so much more that we don't even know about. And that' is the exciting part about it. Its not something that will die in the vine. This metal will be tamed. The "TURN KEY" machine in some ways surpassed the importance of APPLE. And the longer we wait, the more mature our thinking will be with a big pay off.
Instead of buying a $125,000 sports car...the decision may be to just rent one. Same with a BUS RV...
waiting does have its benefits. Look at all the disaster stories from Lottery Winners...
Yes, but along with the "SHEET" patent back in July....LQMT/APPLE also revealed a "foam" patent.
So I wonder if it could be used the same way...
Didn't you say you were building a blog site for Liquid Metal??? From many of your comments, it seems its going to be very negative....and I'm sure those posts will show up on searches...by investors.... is that the planned objective?? Sorry, just connecting some possible dots because with some very encouraging recent items...some here have become even more negative without much merit. But one good news item like with Lockheed, willl make any such efforts futile. The train will be leaving the station with many happy investors on board. Right now...it can go either way...but things are looking much more encouraging to my eyes.
GLL.
And that is just the point. LQMT is very much an R&D company. So is APPLE, so is TESLA. Did you all see yesterday on the news. ELON MUSKS Space-X was able to vertical launch a rocket and vertically land the rocket?? With that accomplishment they are ready to build launch infrastructure by NASA I believe. Did anyone guess that would happen?? no. Would anyone have guessed Musk would develop a patented battery array that would give the electric car such distance...far beyond competition?? No.
Were we not surprised by the ENGEL/LQMT patented TURN KEY moulding machine?? Yes. And what did this do...?? Well, it seems to have turned what we thought would be LQMT's marketing strategy on its ear. Now the focus seems to be TURN KEY machines to sell..in different sizes perhaps...and what a way to streamline their agenda. The use of their patented metals..all over the world. That's called a BIG GAME CHANGER. One past scientist predicted the "SHEET PATENT" wouldn't be viable for some years to come. REALLY??? How can anyone predict that, when research scientists can have a totally unexpected breakthrough at any time. Some want the company to sell out into a bigger organization which would mean in more capable hands.. REALLY??? APPLE started in a garage. Elon Musk started with PAY PAL and now he's launching rocket payloads to the space station. and TESLA We are seeing LQMT and its partners transform....with their scientists working each day for better machines, and different components of their metal. No one knows what's coming....but what we have seen recently..should give every LONG a good feeling..do I want LQMT to be sold?? No not now..I feel its on the brink of transforming beyond anything anyone predicted...
GOOD LUCK LONGS...
My conclusion: Many were on the side lines when the spike hit 15 July....and they desperately tried to get the price to fall so they could get in at a cheaper price to correct their error in judgement.....then 15 October another spike hit...and again, they are desperately trying to get the price down. And if they had just stayed in the stock...they wouldn't have to work so hard to get the price back down to correct their mistake in judgement..
GOOD LUCK LONGS>.I hope all these recent news items brings good tidings...
I never said "I bought all I can today". I said I have bought all I can afford to invest....and I can't advise anyone to buy.
For some that are getting more suspicious of LQMT, and more suspicious of recent news that seems good to many others.....I have one word of advice...SELL.
Someone posted yesterday a big write up from LM about the missile system and Liquid Metal. I believe it was from the LM web site...it had a lot of good information on it on just what the missile system was....And I remarked about it. In that write up, it stated that the missile was being tested in terms of "fly by" of the target...and in the future...tests for "Interception" of the target would be done. Perhaps they are reaching that point...and its at that point where the LQMT Canard will be important. Also, I don't care if its some "dated" news...the main point is...such articles are now winding up in the NEW YORK TIMES and WALL STREET JOURNAL, all good for our stock.
All that "shaky" past can be forgotten in a day...all it takes is a contract say with LM. As the example again...TESLA>..it was going bankrupt...no one expected it to meet its objectives in infrastructure.
NFLX is another. Message Board posters screaming what a fraud it all was...that's when it was just videos in red envelopes. Now look at it. LQMT...the past was buried when APPLE came on board and got rid of management. No one is going to be looking at the past of this company if they are getting news about Lockheed Martin in the NYT's. The TURN KEY machine of LQMT and ENGEL. The new patents. No one cares about the past when LQMT has transformed into a totally different company.
(No matter how many times some bring up the past to keep the price down...for what reason..I have no idea...I would think long term investors would be tickled pink with what's going on now...but from posts, it seems just the opposite....but I am no longer able to read those posts.).
But some revenues with great potential can drive the price up WAY past what P/E ratios indicate.
Many examples of this. TESLA being one.
WOW...NYT!!!!! GREAT...and the ENGEL news was in the WSJ. We're getting some GREAT press.
I've bought all I can. I wouldn't advise anyone. But wait for what??? Wait until its $1 a share??
There are too many irons in the fire for nothing to happen eventually. And considering the product, something that can be used in infinite places....the pay off could be huge.
