Apple pay works perfectly on CNBC report.
I see....I will try to connect with him on LinkedIn. Looks like he's done this before with Intuitive Le Pew. The French connection.
Which one? Xi? Name?
European launch is imminent. IMHO
Wow! Very nice find! Who needs PRs when we have you?
Lol. Sounds like something I'd read in a fortune cookie. Barkleys Bank says it's going to $110.
Thanks. You are the patent king!
This so called "Mayo stapler" has been very elusive. I'm more intrigued by the cardica stapler.
Intuitive initiated a stop-use of their da Vinci Si stapler in the quarter after three more reports of malfunction.
Made it.

At what PPS does everyone think Honey will start posting again? Let's take a poll.
Their are black sleeves on the videos.
Decrease in profits 6th quarter in a row though.
Is it just me or does the Mako robot look a lot like the Surgibot without the need for 3D glasses that give me headaches. Sorry Longterms.
Does anyone no an orthopedic surgeon who endorses Mako. I don't and know 8 including the one who did my daughters knee scope for a meniscus tear. Mako investors REALLY lucked out!
Irrational exuberance.
I just find it interesting that in 2010 Intuitive signs an agreement with cardica......nothing happens. This year a member of Titans SAB who by the way is the medical director of cardica, presents a paper on the cardica stapler in Europe.
I saw that 2010 article but ISRG reps have never mentioned it. I I've always had to use 12mm regular staplers with the robot. They have always told me they are developing "their own stapler". Have you seen the cardica stapler used with DaVinci?
I wonder if this will be SPORTs stapler thanks to Dr. Swanstrom (SAB member):

Very good read. Some may have already read it. I've never seen it. It describes a lot of the pictures Titans company website. Long detailed article about how Ximedica is working with Titan to develop SPORT. 2 important points I took away:
1) Simulation and 3D printing is being employed in development of SPORT and is saving a lot of time and money.
2) The prototype that was used in tissue tasting is larger than I expected but make sense of the patent pictures that were posted by IITF. Last picture.
Would appreciate the opinion of the engineers and device experts on the board. Thanks

Honey, don't go. Just keep posting helpful nuggets. Not your feelings. Objective information is helpful, subjective information is not. Thanks.
What time?
Great article!
Food for thought:
Mental Accounting
Humans have a tendency to place particular events into mental compartments, and the difference between these compartments sometimes impacts our behavior more than the events themselves.
Say, for example, you aim to catch a show at the local theater, and tickets are $20 each. When you get there you realize you've lost a $20 bill. Do you buy a $20 ticket for the show anyway? Behavior finance has found that roughly 88% of people in this situation would do so. Now, let's say you paid for the $20 ticket in advance. When you arrive at the door, you realize your ticket is at home. Would you pay $20 to purchase another? Only 40% of respondents would buy another. Notice, however, that in both scenarios you're out $40: different scenarios, same amount of money, different mental compartments. Pretty silly, huh?
Isn't that pumping?
Could be a great opportunity for Titan shareholders if major PR comes out near bottom of correction..yes?
Seriously...is anyone on this board a CPA? If so, why not apply? I would ask my sister to but she lives in Atlanta and has two very young kids.
Been a while. I'm a bad patient.
I think you need to diversify. Uncontrolled hypertension could lead to a stroke, heart attack or kidney failure. I've said this before.....I'm worried about you.
Amen
Titan is one of my best performing stocks today! Who would have thunk?
Remember, Dr. Reina, the co-founder of the company is a pilot and a big proponent of simulation. This is important especially in the current atmosphere of limited work hours for residents and the predicted future shortage of surgeons. IMO
That's what Buccaneer was told during phone call. We should all be patient. The whole market is suffering.
I have been reading up on Mimic. They have come a long way from when I was trained to use da Vinci. They have this new Maestro AR. Looks very real and very much needed.
"With Maestro AR (Augmented Reality), Mimic introduces the first robotic surgery simulation technology that provides 3D virtual instruments for interaction with anatomy in a 3D video environment. It addresses demand from the robotic community for truly interactive procedure-specific simulation."
They have specialty packages but the one for general surgery has not been determined yet and will be available in 2015
"Maestro AR is available as a Multi-Specialty Package containing four modules or individual modules.
Partial Nephrectomy (released May, 2014)
Hysterectomy (release planned for Q2 2014)
Prostatectomy (release planned for Q1 2015)
General Surgery (case TBD, release planned for Q2 2015)"
??????
Am I reading to much into this?
I'm not going. I would if I was though.
That's interesting. I bet Mimic will be working with Titan for training purposes. Maybe they already are. Just another customer for them. I'm sure they are looking forward to SPORT. Btw Mimic has a booth at the San Francisco meeting.
I don't see any evidence of it and they don't have a booth there as far as I can tell.
I got this from Covidien:
The American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress 2014 is taking place October, 26 - 30 in San Francisco, CA at the Moscone Center, South Hall. This year’s Clinical Congress will bring together the best of surgical education all in one location.
We hope you are able to attend. In the spirit of celebrating the ACS community, Covidien has simplified our exhibit experience to provide space to connect with your peers over coffee from our full-service baristas serving complimentary cappuccinos, lattes, and more.
