Great news!
Do we know if the technology works?
What’s going on here? Been in since 10 cents. Is this for real???
Yawn.....Patient cart is bigger then DaVinci.
Where can one listen to it? Can you provide link?
This is a recent comment about surgibot on a surgeon message board after seeing their video. It sums up the general opinions about surgibot without knowing that much about it, just seeing the video....and nothing about SPORT.
Immersive environment is huge, and not present with this robot. Manual camera controls by hand, time consuming and cumbersome. Pronation/supination limited compared to intuitive master controls. No elbow rest, no head fixation, no chair - all things that help fatigue, tremor, riding out the tough cases... Looks like single port technology which is interesting. Don't see any advanced energy or stapling options... Just a few thoughts. But, I want competition. I want better economics. And I want better ability to impact better outcomes for patients - mine and yours. So, I love it!
I recently learned that from my kids.
Ikr?
Thank you. Ive grown tired and weary of responding to these kind of comments by non-OR people. Thanks for taking the time to do so.
I've never talked to him. I just looked at his old posts and saw a nasty email he wrote to a CEO of another company and it all made sense. Anybody can look at his old posts on Ihub. His name as at the bottom of the email. I guess he didn't realize he gave up his Anonymity. Oh well.
Maybe that will shut him up. But probably not.
Ok Ted Melcher. I know what your all about.
So you were there right?
Even the images with actual people sitting at the console?
19mm insertion tube! That's the smallest ever. I knew they would go smaller then 25mm. GAME CHANGER. Glad they kept it quite. Under promise, over deliver.
Good luck to all longs. On my way to Hawaii for vacation. Will check in on the 9th.
Chicken little will always try to spread fear. It's in his DNA.
Welcome to the board. Do you think SPORT could be used for TORS?
Nice find. I like the fact that Jasminder S Brar has a computer engineering and law degree. Titan has all the right people in all the right places.
I have 7 followers. I'm on fire!!!
I retweeted it.
Hiding in the barn.
I did not know that 3-D glasses could offer uninterrupted viewing.
This console is similar to the old Amadeus console. It had 2 monitors as well. I think this would be a game changer in big complex abdominal surgeries!
Oh I see it now......interesting!
I must be blind. I'm not seeing any differences. Where is the CT scan?
NO!......he has sources.
Great article!
That's in response to one of the main complaints from the "customer". An upgrade with the other company required another multi million dollar purchase. That will not be the case with SPORT hopefully. It will be upgradable parts and software.
No. IMIRIS had a completed product that was being used in hospitals. Very up to date website with analysts coverage, regular PRs and all the bells and whistles. IMIRIS has been discussed on this board before and the consensus was that there to many players in this "IMAGING" technology and it's a small niche. Hence I didn't invest. How is this in anyway similar to Titan? Know what your invested in.
Video of actual surgery showing improved dexterity and new effectors is more important then the external view of the unit. IMO
I agree that this design looks a lot like Intuitive's endowrist. Did that patent expire or is Titans independent roll mechanism that much different?
No way your 19. Just sayin.
Are you referring to the November announcement or are you being sarcastic?
Surgery residents want more training in robotics. Win win for Titan Medical.

Just say you saw the open invite on LinkedIn and you're an analyst who's thinking about taking a position in Titan medical.
The party isn't until June 2nd. Are you going?
Maybe SONY is involved in developing the next iteration of SPORTs camera. Just a thought.
Why would they post something from last year now, then take it down? Weird. SPORT will be 3D immersive technology. Not sure if this monitor matters that much for the surgeon.
Thanks
