... right-o ... Michael Dell is way too smart to get in a bidding war with his own funder Microsoft...
I'm not trying to pick on anyone and I hope no one takes this personally... but I keep seeing references to whether or not one believes in Spiffy and its products... I personally think we have moved beyond the point where belief is actually necessary... validation has now come and is coming so fast and furiously from so many sources... that we now know... with a remarkable level of certainty... almost an unheard of level of certainty for a nanocap company... we simply know that spiffy's ip is special... that it does what they say it does... that others want it... and that once they get a taste for some of it... they come back for more of it... the second largest company in the U.S. by market cap (Google being a close third)... msft is now on record as saying... because we can't do what they can... I can't tell you how big spiffy will get one day... but it will get a lot bigger than it is right now...
I think this partnership is based on mutual need... msft needs the capabilities of spiffy's ip... but spiffy needs msft to fully develop the capabilities of its ip... this is the very best kind of partnership as each company's weaknesses are covered by the other's strengths... I am blown away by what has become known over the past 12 days or so... I now suspect the rumors I have heard of early hush-hush meetings between msft and spiffy more than a year ago (shortly after Nadella took over)... that those rumors were true... I think this relationship has been developing for awhile in stealth mode and has accelerated significantly in recent months... this is a very strong partnership... the bears will never admit it publicly... but this past 12 days have been a real nightmare for them... the bully beats up the little brother on his way home from school... but then one day his big brother shows up and walks with him... and when the bully steps out to complete his daily routine of abusing the younger brother... the bully gets his you know what kicked... on May 20th big brother showed up in SV... and is sticking around for NY, Toronto, London... as well as the Naz... this has been an unmitigated disaster for shorts... whether they recognize it or not...
Salesforce would have been a great acquisition for MSFT... but truth be known MSFT already has a CRM they call Dynamics... and they know they can develop this service to compete more effectively with Salesforce... 55 bil was a significant offer...
What's the difference between MSFT purchasing Salesforce and MSFT purchasing ANY? Simple really... by their own admission... when it comes to ANY... we can't do what they can do...
awesome article pete... thanks for posting... given recent developments I highly recommend a careful reading for every long horizon investor in ANY...
I'm trying eagle... but the grin just won't go... and its causing me trouble today too... people are beginning to wonder what I'm up to...
he swings... he connects... back... back... back... it's gone... 450 feet over the left field wall... a standing 'O' as he rounds the bases... a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 13th... this game is over...
Van... thanks for all you bring to the plate... you are definitely our clean-up hitter...
I am thinking back over various ponderings you have pondered and how prescient they seem now... If ANYone wishes to locate Spiffy in order to attend the upcoming AGM, the directions are easy... it is right over there in that "Next Cloud"...

Sometimes you are at a sporting event and the outcome of the game has been decided though the game is not over... yet... you have to play it all the way through... so the coach of the losing team decides at some point to empty his bench and put in the rookies who almost never get to play... after all... the outcome has been decided... and only the final score is left to determine...
ever since last night... the battle between longs and shorts over ANY has felt that way to me... the outcome is most certainly decided... but we have to play it out anyway... I am feeling sanguine today... incredibly sanguine... those of us long horizon investors who arrived here early and who hung on through all the nonsense are truly some lucky sob's... there are many, many details that must play out... unknowns to be learned... mysteries to be solved... but the outcome of this one is most definitely decided... this game for all practical purposes is over...
It would be incredibly dumb to double down now... which of course means they probably will... our little nanocap is going to be the talk of the tech world very soon... no wonder EK tweeted yesterday... very big day!
Now more than ever Ericsson needs to move swiftly forward with Spiffy ip... the pressure is building...
Now we see also the source of urgency from msft... Nadella has staked his career on this move... and spiffy is at its epicenter... love this article... thanks for posting... app developers don't believe it will be simple... soon they will get the opportunity to kick the tires through Azure and experience GW for themselves... what's that I heard today? A faint buzz in the distance... the buzz will grow... the season of stealth is finally over... now we know why the two CCs were so very different in tone and tenor... now... its game on!
And now we see why spiffy is soooooo important to Microsoft... after reading this article shows ANYone think msft is going to let our little nanocap get away?
Welcome aboard. You made a great investment today. And your timing is exquisite...
Lol... dredging up the old scamologist... too, too funny... your going to be added to my iggy list in SHORT order, but I'll enjoy a laugh or two before banishing you there... not to worry though... I think you'll enjoy the company...
Lol... you can always spot the rookies - eh? Thanks for the chuckle... so you going to sell quick eagle? before msft finds out from the rookie they've been scammed?
This is the guy who introduced next cloud presentation... thanks for posting this tweet... a very good day for investors...
The picure says it all.
Amazing pics! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Awesome day.
shorts are in serious trouble... they may muddy the Microsoft waters for a minute... but there is no way they can make that go away just because they don't like it... if this is all they got... there is serious trouble ahead... first shorts out will have best chance for survival... i'll hold the door for the first one out...
SA article is "epic"... as in "epic fail" perhaps...
I would just encourage all longs to stay the course and remain laser focused on the many positive material developments regarding S3D... whatever happens today with share price will be utterly irrelevant to long horizon investors... there are some desperate folks who want very much to steal your shares at these low, low prices... ignore the noise... as EK tweeted... very big day for Spiffy... very, very big...
Sweet...
This deal is a favorite of mine... the validation in this deal is incredible... Novarad has been kicking the tires on S3D for a full year... and they decide they want more... validation of the company and its products is rock solid... as well as a harbinger of things to come... so we go from Novaglass utilizing GW to now the full range... v3... snap... customers get a taste of spiffy and then they want more... same thing happened with Texas school system...
So based on those 200 shares... I get an SA alert including ANY as one of the biggest after market losers... total BS...
Here is a link to a bio of Mr. Orecklin... what he is focused on now for msft... where he has come from... etc... Microsoft has become something of an entrepreneurial company all over again... their old business model is fading... a new business model is emerging... it is so very rare to see a company like msft reinvent itself... most of that size and stature fade into the sunset when the new paradigm comes... when the old business model has been as successful as msft's it is just too difficult to believe it won't continue forever... new paradigms require radical shifts in strategy... and it appears msft is up to the task... Mr. Orecklin's areas of experience and focus are in fact at the heart of Softies new business model... jmo... glta...

LOL... I never said he would be ringing the bell... I know you would never try to misconstrue my words... so that must have been a minor oversight on your part... you were probably in a hurry having only 10 minutes a day to enlighten the masses... no worries... I am just glad you are looking forward to the presentation... we agree that he may very well have some nice things to say about Spiffy... he seems like a pretty agreeable fellow so that won't surprise either of us...
So glad to hear it. I think you will enjoy the presentation immensely...
Yes Cabel... I would very much like to see that long list of nanocap companies that Msft as introduced to the investing world at the bell ringing on a major trading exchange... Softy has been around a long time... I'm sure the list must be long...
You have to ask yourself... why would Mr. Orecklin be doing this? Is it because Softy's deal with Spiffy is just like hundreds or thousands of other deals? ...and Softy does this at hundreds or thousands of bell ringings... hmm... sorry bears... that ain't it... Softy clearly has taken a liking to Spiffy... bodes very well for shareholders... jmo... glta...
Lol... maybe software can make that more efficient too...
Nice testimony from United Way... real words, real clients, real solutions... everything else is noise...
MSFT/S3D conference tomorrow is all about real solutions for the "next cloud"...
Spot on Easy... very well said...
2000 kg or 20% increase per cow... and this is how software eats the world... when the cows are connected... you know it's game on...
Hello Internet of Things... eventually GW on a chip will play an important role in IoT... think Msft is aware of that???
Spiffy management said azure agreement is phase one of collaboration with msft... wonder what phase GW on a chip would be?
Chip takes lots of resources to move forward... wonder if msft has lots of resources? actually I don't wonder that... 'cause we all know they do... Hello cows... Hello Internet of Things...
Real words, real customers, real solutions... everything else is noise... Sphere 3d...
Just love that phrase "next cloud"... next = cutting edge of trillion dollar cloud revolution... many might have thought msft would play a role, but how many could have guessed that S3D... would cut a leading edge... or that the windows behemoth would actually reinvent itself to lead the charge... msft has an appropriate sense of urgency... exciting times ahead...
