Great post, maybe this should be stickied.
Brings back memories of a stock that was down here being bought out. Started with a T, ended in an R. I remember, 5 seconds in to the conference call, realizing a buyout wasn't taking place; I sold as it was dumping. The next day, stock went back up, however, the buyout never did happen, I just sold a little early, lesson learned. Appreciate the advice, I was going to skip but might as well try to listen in.
Thanks for reply, I guess what I am saying is someone posted an article about preferred plan being rejected by holders. Is this the same vote grouped in that commons voted on? I was thinking they were two separate votes, so I am saying, if these are two separate votes, wouldn't common shareholders get to also vote whether to accept the agreement? And if they vote to agree and preferred shareholders don't vote to agree, what happens? That actually is the 50/50 split I am talking about but I appreciate the extra information. I am fine waiting, you can reply if you have the energy but at this point, I am in it too far to just sell my shares anyway.
Wow, thanks for the thorough reply.
So this is exactly what I was thinking, if commons get equal voting Rights and vote to approve, then, wouldn't it be a 50/50 split vote? Then what happens?
WTF? For real?
If I interpreted what you said correctly you are saying there is no monies for us? If that is what you are saying, I personally don't think this makes sense, if we are not getting anything but a penny or something to that effect, they should have just wiped us out and been done with it, that is why I feel we will get something.
Are you talking to yourself? ;)
True, we all plopped money down and some of us decided to stay the course. Since no one knows for sure what we will truly get, all we can do is attempt to make a guestimate. I just "feel" through intuition that it might not actually be that bad but who knows. And when I say, not bad, I am not referring to those that got in before BQ.
Nice - I actually like playing what others are ranting and raving about. I will eyeball the chart, if it looks to have potential, I will get in. I usually am too stupid to sell, last time I played I lost not only 15k but all of my 45k in profits. Good thing my mom bailed me out and she isn't even that wealthy.... I hope I do it right again so I can pay off my credit card from some school debt I have, at least this time, I'm not playing with money I don't have to lose.
I actually quit playing for over two years basically, waiting on a bankrupt stock to figure itself out and with these other plays, I think things are looking good for me.
Can anyone sum up what the deal is here with this stock? Kind of new to the board. Why all the hype etc.
LMFAO - yea, but so is the other stock i'm in which makes this somewhat of a prediciment, especially since the other play seems safer. This seems like it has more potential though but the other one is no slouch either. SO maybe I will do a 25-75% and play it a bit safe.
Word. I will definitely consider a slight modification. Today's trading confirmed for me that this seems to be at the start of a nice run, perhaps I'm wrong but my gut tells me otherwise, just looking at the chart (and I can't read charts).
Yea, it is funny because, either way, it is a gamble lol
But haven't been monitoring this board, what is the appeal here?
Lol - It sure does; love that stock but it is too safe with slow and steady gains, of course, I'm not complaining :)
I am pretty sure I am staying put with my meager 23xxx shares there, I think I have 7xx,xxx shares here in BCAP, actually made 140$ already. Liking this stock too.
One thing other than the chart, what is the big appeal with this stock?
I'm on a stock that is going up up up but I think about selling some because this seems like a good buying opportunity here but who's to say.
He almost looks like Carl Sagan in that pic
Exactly. If I had a job, I would be putting any extra money on here as I could
Guys, I hated to do it but just sold 100$ worth of shares at the bid. Went through instantly, no delay at all!
This stock is the sickest stock I have ever been in.
I'm averaged about .08, I would buy now, trying to find more money lol
Actually, I agree.
I think it is quite possible even more than double but that might take a few days run.
This might be the play of the century, I am soooooo pissed I didn't have more money at the .04 cent level but if i had more now I would throw some down.
Kind of annoying we have to vote before knowing the true value of our stocks. Still crossing my fingers here but I have other plays to back me up. would be nice if they all pan out or at least my two large plays.
Yes, I never follow my stocks, I just search them. This one, i followed cuss you guys make such a big deal! Perhaps I should start following more of my stocks.
Absolutely, if only I could convince my mom to give me some money to invest for us lol
Great point, BUT buyout rumors etc. are still fun ;)
All aboard the ATRaiN
I honestly feel like selling every other share and plopping it here, my other ones are risky, this one doesn't seem to be at this point.
What are the indicators of this? Could these insiders be the company buying back shares?
I don't think it will happen, this thing is on a steady course nowhere but up. The pullbacks seem less and less IMO.
Opinion only, I am definitely not an expert but this stock just doesn't act like the rest of them.
I have a fear of commitment but ATRN is making me reconsider!
Good point Gary, I hate to sell my golden boy to pick more up at .10 or I would smack it. I have another stock i'm on the fence with selling to pick up 200$ down here, but if that does take off, I could see a really nice gain so I hate to sell that too.
I got in at .30 because I figured two days at x00%, it had to go up the next day and would eventually be at a dollar. Of course, I was wrong lol.
I keep buying more honestly, and with the support it has, unless some terrible news comes out which I don't count on, I don't see this thing dropping past my average downed position. The biggest mistake I made was selling 500$ to buy another stock that I lost 300$ on.
I was actually thinking of a strategy to keep buying at levels to keep me averaged at 1/2 the share price. This way, I can take my monies out if I have to in the event it starts a downtrend. But IDK yet. I don't expect a downtrend anytime soon.
Bill, I hope it is like this, the dead silence is us getting in cheap. Never got in at sub penny before, even though I have a mere 200$ on this, if I truly got in at the bottom, it will amount to a lot more. Crossing fingers. But if I am incorrect, I have other options elsewhere so I'm not sweating it.
Charts = self fulfilling prophecy!
;) Disprove me muahaha
Wasn't paying attention. Thanks for the update, looks like .26 is the boiling point.
Hat is flipped backwards!
No disrespect, we appreciate your charts here.
Wasn't paying attention (as usual).
I am not really a chart player other than eye balling it and I see a head a shoulders pattern forming :)
